TL;DR - Selama Ashal'anore is a RP focused guild that is recruiting. We specialize in believable, lore-following RP*, current content raiding twice a week, out of game events, and a safe environment that does not tolerate drama or toxicity. We've been running strong for three years.
(*This is our RP style - if you're not sure what this is, feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to explain what this is exactly, and help you if you need a hand. It's really more of a guideline, anyway.)

((As of August 21, we are on summer break and guild events are on hiatus. We will likely post a new recruitment thread when we return.))
Hi there. I roleplay a Blood Knight named 'Tholmai Lightbreaker'. Some of you might recognize the guild name from an interview that the former wow.insider published a little bit ago. Unfortunately, that interview is much harder to find now, since wow.joystiq and its related assets have been repurposed. So, let me tell you a bit about the guild. (But I do have a handy-dandy link here, if you're interested in seeing the interview: http://www.engadget.com/2013/05/02/inside-the-fabulous-world-of-blood-elf-roleplaying/)
I run an RP group that was once Blood Elf exclusive, a guild aimed at reversing negative opinions of Blood Elf roleplay, but since then our purpose has evolved.
We are no longer Blood Elf exclusive, and now focus on Blood Elves and Forsaken, and the Eastern Kingdoms as a whole. We allow all races to join, so long as their character has a solid reason for wanting to devote themselves to the Eastern Kingdoms.
As of now in our RP arcs, we have a dedicated group in Draenor, and one in Azeroth. We schedule our RP events (but do not discourage random, free form RP) because most of our members are adults with many important things to do.
Alongside RP, we also have a raid group. We run Hellfire Citadel (normal) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays or Thursdays, and to that effect, we do occasionally recruit raiders. (Meaning, strictly PVE members that do not have to engage in RP if they don't want to.)
We also have members that have an interest in PVP, and spend a bit of time in Ashran, random and rated BGs, and so on.
But enough with the bragging, I'm going to be serious for a second. We have something special here. People that join our group wind up loving our atmosphere so much, they end up wanting to fully commit to the guild. They bring their friends, spouses, relatives, and a few people have actually been talked into resubscribing because our guild was that tempting to them. We're all friends here. We don't play with cliques, we don't allow drama, and we try to remember that we're all here to have fun. My position as guildleader really is superficial here. I'm just a person that happens to hold the guild charter.
If you've got questions, feel free to message me at the website. I'll answer them as quickly as possible.
