After Tholmai offered for me to join in as a Family & Friends rank I jumped at the opportunity. These guys are great. Guild chat is lively. Everyone is extremely kind and positive. It's really been a great experience since I joined.

We just had a great session of Azeroth-side RP, and I'm reminded once again that we've got a fun group of people playing with us.
Friday nights are one of our more concentrated RP endeavors, but I'm hoping we can find more opportunities to include interested RPers. Keep an eye on our site, www.selamaashalanore.com, for info on that and membership!

I have to say, this is one of the greatest guilds I've ever been a part of! The people are phenomenal, fun loving, and really enjoyable to talk/raid/quest/etc with. I've never done any RPing (though they are slowly talking me into it), but from what I hear from everyone, they have a lot of fun with their regularly scheduled RP events! I'm more of the PvE/Raiding portion of the guild, and I tell you what, we have a really cool and solid raiding group! Everyone works well together, everyone communicates, and it's an environment in which all the players not only want to do well and beat the bosses, but have fun in the process and help others learn the bosses or their class and such. Definitely worth applying!
Qipao left the city and stopped to speak a blessing over the Dark Scar before finding a scenic place for a picnic lunch. She plopped down on the ground, the Scar at her back, and built a small campfire. While the water heated for tea, she unwrapped her dumplings and began to eat, taking in the beauty of the woods.
She watched the golden leaves billow in the soft breeze, small animals chittering at the base of the trees, and dragonhawks fluttering in the distance.The scene was idyllic, but the pandaren was plagued with a sense of wrongness, like a prickle between her shoulder blades. She tried to shake it off and enjoy her meal, but her attention kept drifting back to that feeling of unease.
Qipao hefted herself to her feet and moved to the other side of the fire. When she sat back down, she could see the beauty of Eversong spread out ahead of her and to her left, while the Dark Scar intruded from the right. She nodded and returned to her meal. A mere blessing hadn't been enough. She was wrong to turn her back on the Dark Scar.
The terrible wound was as much a part of this land as all its gentle beauty. As painful as it was to behold, this Scar was a part of history that had to be acknowledged and honored, a battle scar to be worn with pride. Like the scars of the Sin'dorei. This land and its people had suffered, but they hadn't given up. They were fewer, but they were stronger for their scars.

Monday bump! Seriously this guild is wonderful. I enjoy the people so much I even transferred over a level 100 Shaman from another server. Raiding, dungeons, well developed and interesting RP, plus a lot more. Check us out! You won't regret it. :)

My husband and I are looking for a new guild since ours is taking a hiatus. We would like a good mix of RP and PvE even though only one of us RPs. I have a couple questions. :)
1) How flexible are you with raiding? My husband works full time so there would be days (probably every other week) where he would be unable to raid. Is that something you would be willing to work around?
2) What does your RP look like? I guess that's a broad question. What sort of story arcs do you guys do? How easy is it to break in as a new character? Is it possible to watch you guys RP once or twice before we commit to joining?
3) How close are your members/ how social are you guys?
4) Who's cooler: Gul'dan or Rexxar?

1.) The guild's primary focus is RP, so raid schedule concerns aren't a deal-breaker. Right now, Friday is a regular RP night, but more can always be added.
2.) We've got two ongoing story arcs, one for Azeroth and Draenor. Joining mid-arc isn't hard, since we're glad to include new faces. We'll get you caught up real easy, if you join us :) Several characters in the guild are warm and welcoming, so they're good for getting the introductions along. Spectating has happened before and is encouraged for newcomers.
3.) We're pretty close! Chatter is pretty easy and common and several of us even keep up via a Facebook group (completely optional, though!)
4.) Personal opinion? Gul'dan, because villains are fun.
