Interesting concept, but I'm looking for more originality before I faction change. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Can't say I have a firm idea of what you're talking about or why you formatted it like that, Zinnari, but if you're using a guild's advertisement page to shop around that is seriously uncool.

Also, that first link follows to the Silverleaf Sentinels, a guild that went extinct four years ago on a different continent.

A bit more clarity and precision would serve you well.

Well I guess the cat is out of the bag and we cannot seem to keep it under wraps - The Moonlit Sanctuary is in fact run by the guild leaders of the Sha'tor. "Why? Isn't the Sha'tor guild enough?" Of course it is - We are not abandoning said Draenei. We love our Draenei and they have in fact been our main characters for some time now. The reason we have created such a guild is because the Draenei within Warlords was the "Flavor of the Month" - Everyone either race changed or rolled new Draenei because of the WoD expansion. Now that it is coming to a close, the Draenei community has started to quiet down and everyone is returning back to their main characters or turning their Draenei back in humans or Night Elves. With that being said, it was brought to our attention by some members that perhaps we can make a very small Kaldorei guild to work with said Draenei lull - With some of our members turning back into Night Elves and getting ready for the Legion expansion but feeling sort of bad for leaving the Sha'tor - We figured, why not just be the same guild but instead Kaldorei? For nights when the Draenei community is quiet - Members can travel on over to the Sanctuary and still be with the amazing friends they met through the Sha'tor. We do not intend to "take over" the other Kaldorei guilds, rather exist with the other Kaldorei guilds. The Sanctuary is mainly based around the random walk - up roleplay that we get in Darnassus.

As for some of the things from Silverwing Sentinels - We had an officer in a guild before the Sha'tor & before this one who created said layout of the guild(s) information. I personally was not aware of such a thing being a little pulled from the Silverwing. I did in fact go ahead and change somethings.

I would also like to add that we created this side project to allow our members to play their Kaldorei characters while staying in the Sha'tor community. Since the very beginning we have made some very good friends within our guild, and we wanted to keep everyone together. We also recognize that people need variety in their RP, we strive to garner an environment where our members can do so freely and have fun, it was important to us that we have something else to offer our friends.

If there was anything pulled directly from Silverwing's websites or information spread across the web, I didn't recognize it, which should say a lot because I've personally written most of it.

Moonlit Sanctuary and Sha'tor do take a lot of inspiration from Silver Circle's old layout and info but I was under the impression that the issue was resolved privately. I wouldn't really call it a reason to spite them.

In any case, I do look forward to roleplaying with you guys in the near future. Perhaps we can set up some kind of meet and greet.

For future reference, this kind of thing is pretty easy for people to find out, what with cogshanks showing alts and the armory showing account-wide achievements and battle pets for all characters.

Oh trust me, I know ;) We just didn't think we had to inform people of such a thing - But I guess it was needed to be said seeing the concepts are slightly the same and like Zinnari here thinking the concept was taking from Sha'tor.

While I can understand your frustration, it is presumptuous to finger-point. The mislabeled link you provided above to the Silverleaf Sentinel guild advertisement is over 5 years old, with the guild having apparently been dead for a number of years as well. Both of these guilds, in their own words, have expressed their desire to give back to the roleplaying community. The baser elements have been borrowed from a long-dead guild on another continent are being used in a good light. I would hazard a guess that if the former guild leaders of Silverleaf saw this, they would be proud to see their legacy being carried on elsewhere.

As the former guild leader of <Silver Circle> on Moon Guard, I can officially say this is resolved. Emalia & Lycomedes are great folks and exceptional role players who only wish to inspire togetherness in our role playing community. To clarify, and avoid any further presumptions, the layout items used on both guild websites are technically all images owned by Blizzard.

As far as the written content was concerned, that has been handled with respect and decorum from both parties. Emalia & Lycomedes have a solid plan for Moonlit Sanctuary moving forward, and they have my support all the way.
