The Sable Sun company is a mercenary organization with a trader aspect on the side. The Family that is Sable Sun seeks to aid the people of Azeroth no matter how many undead, bandits, demons, and dragons may stand before us as long as the price is right. To this end Sable Sun is a great refuge for those wanting to see the world, escape some dark past, or maybe just make a bit a coin for the family back home. What can you expect in our service? Load of action, Chance to see the world, the slim chance some beautiful woman or man might find your rugged way of life super exciting, and of course MONEY! How do you join you ask? Merely fill out the application and when your interview is done sign on the dotted line on your life wai-- I mean Loyalty contract and after a small trial period to see if you can handle the danger. Your a full fledged member of the Company!

Sable Sun Company was started back in Cata with one goal in mind, to make a fun community, full of great people, and make great stories we all enjoy. With Legion on the rise, Sable Sun is officially re-re-opening to make that community again.

Sable Sun Company: What are you?

Sable Sun Company is a Role Play guild dedicated to adventure, fun, and excitement. Our passion is not only the love for adventure, but the means to make the money, and take the loot at the very end. We are not a strictly good or evil guild, but we do have a type of moral compass. This compass leads us to being heros of Azeroth, and fighting for that fat, fat loot at the end of the day, always seeking a payday and doing good deeds for a price.

We seek to try not and turn away any idea, and our main statement is if you're willing to work with us, we're willing to work with you. That means, we will often accept plausible, and believable ideas, if you're willing to remain within Lore, and avoid the Mary-Sue clause of the guild (stated in our rules and regulations).

Sable Sun Company: Why should I choose you?

At Sable Sun, we want to make an environment where you can play with new ideas, meet new folks, and escape past the gates of City Role Play, unlike some guilds who only take part in City Role Play or shun it as a whole, we see the upsides to both and love to participate not only in our own events, but server wide events as well. We believe the guild and the server is a social place. So, in the end, if you're looking for new folks, fun RP, and a chance at adventure and comedy, join up with us!

Sable Sun Company: How often am I expected to be on?

At SSC, we understand folks have a life. We're not going try and force you to be around, this is a game, not a job. We'll be aiming to have a main Role Play event each week, with smaller Role Play happenings throughout, so we support both the social and the avid Role Player.

Sable Sun Company: What's your RP style?

Glad you asked! SSC is actually dedicated to a number of RP styles, and often welcome new forms. However, to be less, question dodgy- our primary style, and how most GM hosted events will go, will be a PvE-esq Roll style event. Here is the system for those interested:

Having read your combat system rules, I have to ask - Just how often do people die? Is death forced consenting by being present at the event?

I don't enforce the death rule, by simply being present - This dose not mean we do not use it or your character can't die, but in the system, once you hit a certain amount of points you enter in 'Critical' state. This means, your character is knocked out or can't fight. However, if you choose so. You can take the risk to keep fighting, with five points of health left. However, if you lose those 5 points, THEN you're dead.

Sable Sun Company: To what extent members are IC members vs contacts/associates/etc.

Most members in SSC will be hired full time members sworn to Sable Sun, now, what this means is members will be doing SOMETHING in the guild that prompts for 'full time IC pay', or basically, you do something often enough to refer as Sable Sun as your day job. This can be logistical work, actual trading, diplomatic work, fighting, traveling, packing, cooking, or any job that a privatized mercenary company might need.

Members who have characters in the guild, but they don't really fit as 'full-time characters' or 'mains' can gladly be put in our IC alt rank, which is folks who do jobs every so often with SSC, or are there as simple connections. SSC also welcomes 'Honorary Members'. This being, folks who Role Play with us often, in our groups, but are not part of Sable Sun the guild, due to either story archs, reasoning, or other things.

Hrmm, but in regards to non-combat RP, is it generally quick? Paragraph? Etc.

All normally depends on the crowd. I do quick shots, some do paragraphs. It's more like whatever the play would want.

Do you have a level requirement?

I'm an RPer from SWTOR, and I play a lot on Tichondrius which is a PVP server and recently wanted to get into RP in WoW. Your guild looks awesome, but I would be starting a new character.

We do not, though a lower level character may find it difficult to be involved if we're RPing in, say, Northrend or a raid.
