Children’s week is upon us. The time of year when the homeless children are given extra attention and escorted to see the world. This year it is a time of special need among the Horde that these children will see. And while it is assured there are certain activities they especially wish to be a part of, we would like to give them another opportunity to experience.
War rages across the world. The forces of Deathwing threaten to tear our world apart. The Horde and the Alliance war against each other, invading each other’s lands. As a result of these incursions, many have been displaced and lost. With the strongest arms of the Horde focused on other battles, it has left those in the Barrens, which has been one of the lands hardest hit, in need.
We, of the Ishnu Por Ah, have stepped forward to assist the people of the Barrens and defend these lands. We war against the Alliance invaders there. But we must do more then fight. And we cannot do it alone.
We have begun to gather supplies for the people of the Southern Barrens who have been displaced by the actions of the Alliance. We seek more aid from others of the Horde. Food, clothing, trade goods, building supplies, arms, any such items to help strengthen those who wish to hold their ground upon their home land. We also seek a helping hand. The skill of tradesmen to help them fortify their camps, to help pass out food and lend medical aid to those in need.
On Thursday, the 5th day of this month, the Ishnu Por Ah intend to deliver such aid and supplies to the survivors of Camp Taurajo holding out in Camp Una’fe. The caravan of supplies will leave from Mulgore that evening at the mid hour of 5 bells.
If you have chosen to sponsor an Orgrimmar orphan this Children’s Week, we encourage you to bring them along to be a part of such philanthropic efforts. It will also give them the opportunity to meet their Tauren kindred spirits orphaned by the decimation of Camp Taurajo. We also seek those willing to help defend our caravan, as it will be traveling through war torn land and may need protection.
At Camp Una’fe, aside from serving and assisting, we will treat the orphans there to the telling of stories and the passing of sweet treats. Bring a story to tell, if you wish, appropriate to tell the children.
If you are interested in donating goods or services, feel free to contact any of the Ishnu Por Ah on or before the day of the caravan. Again, it will be Thursday, the 5th at 5:30. We will meet for travel at the Great Wall of Mulgore.
