Mithara Luranthe- Draenic Huntress
Dark-skinned, with an elegant but hardly delicate build, "Mith" was raised in Telaar, in Nagrand by her uncle, a Broken. After coming to Azeroth as a very young teen with her younger sister in tow, she became a bit of a thief that resulted in both the loss of her sister and some heavy scarring. She evolved into a mercenary/assassin after a time, working with her pets, which range from a tiger, to a hellhound, to a warpstalker. She can be a bit of an ass until someone gets to know her (and even after that, really) but has a soft spot for small animals and children.
She's the founder of Shiftingsands Trading Co, and spends most of her time dealing with that, these days.
(OOC, am very laid back and open-minded about rp, up for about anything, but have a great hatred of godmoding of any sort.)

Zosimé - Draenei Watchwoman
Zosime has pale skin and long hair. "Zos" once lived in Nagrand, but left aboard the Exodar with everyone else. She lost her family during the crash, but survived with injuries sustained. A crystal splinter removed her right eye, and her left hand was lost and mechanically replaced while she was knocked out. She stopped grieving over her dead family fairly quickly, and took boat rides to Stormwind, where she attempted to blend in. She didn't quite fit in, and soon realised that Stormwind has it's share of criminals - and knew that someone needed to step in and help rid the city of them.
Training herself over so many years, she joined the Watch. Recently, she began finding out more about friends of her past.
((I personally don't like god-modding, so do so around me at your own risk. Generally, it should be asked OOC, but I will sometimes go along with it if I feel it's alright.))

Professor Galahn Tinhelm - Grand Master of the Phlogiston Brotherhood
Galahn is a deceptively complex creature. He looks like a wily Dwarven Prospector - and he is - but Galahn vanished into Kalimdor soon after the Second War. His name shows up as a volunteer amongst the Argent Dawn in the Plaguelands, but so were many, many others.
He reappears, with his close friend and ally in combat, Thursarbanen the Winterspring Frostsaber, in Northrend to help combat the forces of Loken with the Explorers' League and the Frostborn. However, his in-depth experience with Highborne and Kaldorei ruins relegated him to significant time in the Great Dragonblight, where he performed services for the Wyrmcrest Accord.
With a select few comrades he met in Northrend, Galahn established a neutral guild, with Hearthstone frequency, in Dalaran to help create artisan-quality gear for good causes.
He spends his time helping up in Hyjal and elbow-deep in archaeology when he's not working furious for his guild from a rented workshop in Stormwind.
((I still have parts of this guy that I haven't set in stone yet, but he's not only my most complex character, he's also the oldest one I have resurrected from the times of The Burning Crusade, when I quit. The Phlogiston Brotherhood's "hearthstone frequency" is the channel Market, and I invite all Alliance businesses and people looking for services IC to use it as an auxiliary HearthstoneIC. Don't be discouraged if few people use it; I plan to push its use soon enough.))

Rhudran - Elemental Blacksmith of the Phlogiston Brotherhood
Rhudran isn't your average Dwarf. He abandoned his family name and his former life in Ironforge after the siege of Ironforge ended and invested himself fully into becoming a cleric of the Light. He rarely thinks about his former life.
He joined the Argent Dawn during the Scourge Invasion, and remained near Plaguewood for most of his service.
After the Battle of Light's Hope Chapel, Rhudran followed Tirion Fordring into Northrend. While the bulk of the Argent Crusade devoted itself to the Scourge menace and the Lich King, Rhudran was sent into the Storm Peaks to investigate an unrelated threat based around the Maker's Terrace. Through a complicated progression of events, Rhudran became deeply invested in the cause of the Enchanted Earthen of the Storm Peaks, and committed his life to untangle the mysteries of healing, natural and holy. The Earthen started Rhudran down the path of the Shaman, and taught him the arts of blacksmithing.
Armed with his new life experiences and expertise in elemental blacksmithing, Galahn Tinhelm recruited him for the Phlogiston Brotherhood on the condition that Galahn would share any information on healing he would turn up in his research.

I decided to submit a far more brief "summary" profile instead. I think I like it better.
Professor Galahn "The Professor" Tinhelm - Grand Master of the Phlogiston Brotherhood
The Professor is a distracted, brilliant sort. Often buried in his world-hopping archaeology or tending his Phlogiston Brotherhood with his special quality tests, he is often still on the job in his head when outside the workshop. His travels have attracted all sorts of companions, and turned him into an uncanny repository of knowledge.
His skills with a spanner match his deadly mark with a bow, and his engineering prowess is only outmatched by his skills with a gun, though he is preposterously slow to anger.

Trying a format blatantly lifted from Nelgrim, further lifted from Kaz, from a neat Character Creation Guide in World's End.
