The Anytime & Anywhere Messaging Service is pleased to announce the opening of a new Joint Office, shared by both the Horde and Alliance Branches of our organization!

The AAMS has been without a functioning Joint Office for some time, although we were very grateful to make temporary use of the Speedbarge as a neutral center during the aftermath of the Cataclysm.

We will formally open our Joint Office at the site of the Caer Darrow Renewal Project this Thursday evening, with refreshments served for both factions starting at 7:30 PM. Other enterprises are, as always, welcome to join us and take advantage of the cross-faction market and translations!

We look forward to doing business from the refurbished homes and shops of the abandoned settlement, and invite clients of either faction to come find us there at any time. We hope you will join us in celebrating our first formal night in the offices this Thursday!

((OOC DETAILS:

WHAT: RP event open to both Horde and Alliance, with translations between the two.
WHO: Anyone! We've had very good turn-out for these and hope to see even more this week.
WHERE: Caer Darrow, the island in the Western Plaguelands where the Scholomance instance is located.
WHEN: Thursday 7/21, starting at 7:30 server time.

AND ALSO...this is more than just the weekly event! We will, of course, keep those going, each week with a new theme. And we're absolutely thrilled that people have been showing up with inventories to sell or "quests" to give out -- there's been some fantastic creativity and we hope people will keep thinking up new ways to use the CDRP gatherings!

But in addition to that we're going to be "running" more of our guild RP out of Caer Darrow, and encouraging other people to join us there at well. I expect it will take time to catch on, but our hope is to add an RP hub that either side can use at leisure, and can reliably expect to find other people at.

So if you don't have anything going on and just feel like a bit of face-to-face RP, please be sure to use the /OOC channels on each faction to ask if anyone's at Caer Darrow! The AAMS (and all our various alts) will be happy to join you. And this Thursday join us for the regularly-scheduled CDRP weekly event!))

Will the AAMS be picking out which building it will be renting for the new Horde/Alliance AAMS joint office tonight?

There are so many crates to move from the Orgrimmar office that I am sure those gobbo's we hired as extra hands will want to get moving soon.

One of them tried to talk me into using, what did he call it... ah, yes, 'The Super Crate Transport-a-tron 4000GX'. Apparently he purchased it for cheap of a gnome and made some modifications. I assume that means that not only will it explode, but it also steals your wallet... Anyway I decided that shipping the files the traditional way was less risky.

((So apparently Aeldgyth's player is going to be at work well into the wee hours of the morning. This was an unforeseen crisis and is likely to eat my time for the next few days. There should still be plenty of AAMS staff on hand, so please do come out, but Aeldgyth/Andelia will NOT be present.

The AAMS Joint Office will officially be the second story of the largest, roofless building facing the dried fountain. It's accessible by a fallen timber, and has a bookshelf (moved there by the AAMS, of course!), a wardrobe (the AAMS company safe!), and a three-legged table (tilted to be equal-opportunity -- one end for the short races and one end for the tall ones!).
