Hey there CC, it's been the better part of a decade now since I've played on this server and to be honest, I'm missing it. I miss the people, the RPing, and I'm currently very tired of the server I'm on now.

So, to be as brief as possible, how is it here? Is it worth coming back? I'd like to find an RP and (semi) raiding guild to join at some point, and I'd like to join a good community.

Judging from the RP posts on this forum, it seems like the community is still in somewhat decent shape. Any honest answers I can gather would be a great help. Thanks in advance!

Can't tell you how it's working Horde-side, but I'm very happy to be here. The RP's fun, stories are progressing, and I'm enjoying all the intelligent company.

I couldn't compare it to whatever server you're so "tired of," but I don't think I'd consider going anywhere else, myself.

Worth? I dont know how to answer that as a yes or no. But, if your comming back, theres ALOT to do if you have the xpacs, even if not since alot of the old world was revamped. There are still good pockets of RP, for the most part the community is till good in my opinion. I guess ya just have to plunk down 15-30 bucks and give it a try for a month or two and see for yourself if its worth it!

I've not been on Horde side since some events around 4-5 months ago (I assume it's much better now) but Alliance is still very nice. Give it a try for a month or so.

Heh, that's what I intend on doing. Basically I joined a PvP server a while back, everyone transferred off or stopped playing that I knew, and now I'm stranded on a server where I know no one and there's only 3 other people to play with anyway. I enjoyed this server a LOT, and in fact set up a few events on it back in the day in good ole' vanilla WoW.

I'm just debating bringing over another character with a buncha heirlooms and start leveling over here instead. Seems to be the option I'm leaning towards right now anywhos.

I can speak from the perspective of someone who only came to the server for the first time a few weeks ago.

It's great. It didn't even take a week after creating Alyx (over there to the left of this) before I had decided that I'd move an 80 here.

I've never felt so much at home anywhere.

Tastingo, time to come home. RP is hit and miss on horde side from what I hear, but there's only one way to pick it up...do it. There are still some rp events. There is world pvp in the pipeline.

There are some really good horde guilds that rp/pvp and raid. I love Homeland. The Grims are still around. I'll infiltrate them one day. Until then, I'll just keep stirring up crap with them.

I'd say its definitely worth coming back. There are RP events in Caer Darrow (outside of Scholomance) every Thursday, and there's something bigger in the works for September or October. Da Doctas, Ishnu Por Ah, AAMS, and the Grim Maw are all Horde RP guilds going strong, that have been around since vanilla.

I have the funniest feeling I remember you, but maybe it's just the Tingo part.

Haha, well Yotingo, I've been around since Vanilla as well, and I mean when the server first started! I remember all of those guilds actually from way back in the day as well, and I'm quite glad to see they're still kicking!

Sigh, maybe I should just bite the bullet and spend the 25 dollars to transfer all my heirlooms over here.

Well, if you don't mind working with an Alliance Branch and staying out of the factional fighting, the AAMS is still around after all these years! The Horde side of the guild could use a few more regular staffers. Certainly no shortage of RP to be had.

If you're not so down with the neutral peacemakers, there's some pretty long-standing RP guilds that are all Horde all the time, too -- Da Doctas and Ishnu Por Ah have definitely been around since the early days of the server, and likely some others I'm forgetting too. Homeland is newer but large and active.

And, of course, there's a sticky at the top of the forums, though I don't know how recently it's been updated. Welcome back!
