((Now that Ulfrec is no longer in Stormwind, I'm moving some of his RP onto the forums. Why? Because then I don't need volunteers to kill, I can just make people up. :P If anyone -- Horde or Alliance -- would like to have a murder, kill off a character, or just thinks it would be fun to have a non-RP vault be a victim..... Ulfrec will be traveling Kalimdor being his scary freaking serial-killer self. Just let me know by sending a message to Ulfrec, Crayauchtin, or -- for Horde-side -- to Gruzzexl. I'm hoping to have Ulfrec be transformed, in reputation only, into a legendary boogeyman-esque figure. At least... for a while.))
He knew they were close. He wasn't sure how. They'd questioned him too many times -- and in covering his tracks this last time, he was sure he'd been seen. Time to move.
The perk of the Alliance, it seemed, was freedom to travel. If they'd come even nearly close to uncovering him in Gilneas City, where would he have gone? There was nowhere to go after those wealthy cowards had sealed the wall and damned them all.
In Stormwind, however, there was a harbor. Ulfrec was well-acquainted with it. He'd begged here, he'd strolled here.... he'd killed here. Twice, if he recalled. At a certain point all those faces bled into each other.... all of them with the gaping holes in their mouths, shattered teeth.... empty eyes.
Ulfrec tried to quell his panic. He wasn't done. The evil ones still flaunted wealth and stepped on those beneath them. And those beneath.... they stil needed to be saved. They could not stop him yet. He had not yet brought salvation... he had not yet brought the wealthy to their knees. He hurried along, in his human form, to the harbor and waited for the next boat to Kalimdor. Surely the Stormwind City Watch wouldn't search for him there?
He boarded the boat, climbing the stairs to the upper deck in hopes of a better view. His yellowed eyes saw them boarding. They would stop the boat.... and he would be ruined. The world would be ruined. There was no one to save it without him. But the boat moved from the dock before it could be stopped. He just needed to stay away from the guards for the entire journey. Easier said than done, he supposed.... but do-able, certainly.
When the boat began to dock, Ulfrec leapt from its side, diving into the water and swimming to shore. If the guards heard the splash, it was too late. Without a glance backwards, Ulfrec swam to shore. He was heading for the glowing tree when he noticed it -- trained flying animals. Not gryphons like in Stormwind.... but similar.
"How much for a ride across the way?" Ulfrec asked, nodding at the land that was barely visible through the mist. It didn't matter what land that was... he needed to get there. He needed a place to hide.
A place where he could not be found.... but where he could still find. And from there... he would save the world.
