World of Warcraft®

I have read through many posts both here for CC server and World's End Tavern. I have joined the OCC and IC channels, attended a few world RP events, participated in random RP, etc. I am still having a bit of trouble finding the perfect fit, and I want to avoid "guild hopping". I was hoping you all could help me out.

What I am looking for in a guild:
- RP is the main focus, RP events are scheduled numerous times per week and guild members actively participate
- RP happens within the game environment, not in an IC channel or on forums
- Guild RP stories stick to game lore
- Guild story arcs are written so every member can participate in some way
- Guild members take turns writing story plots and setting up events (similar to game masters in table top RP)
- Stories are conflict/resolution based; no "relationship" RP (or at least the romantic RP is not part of the guild RP events)

I am not partial to one faction or the other, I just want quality RP. If you know of a guild that fits this description, would you please post a reply?

There are some great RP guilds around; Horde side seems to be lacking a few lately, but it doesn't necessarily surprise me, as Alliance outnumbers Horde on this realm by nearly 2:1. The Horde guilds I'm aware of who RP, however, are good folks. Look into Homeland, Da Doctas, or AAMS.

Otherwise, the best way to have the kind of RP you're looking for is to put such a guild together yourself. Cenarion Circle awards initiative, and the kind of guild you're talking about would likely be the kind of guild that a lot of players would be interested in being a part of. Make what you see, happen!

Horde-side, the main, and active RP Guilds are Ishnu Por Ah, Da Doctas, Homeland & AAMS (only recently, and I'm not sure how many active members they actually have.) Unlike most other RP Servers, we have a very small amount of RP guilds, as you can see. So you may find a better guild on another server.

Alliance side, I'm not sure at all, as I rarely RP there.

There is a lot of high quality RP on this server -- I find what we lack in quantity we make up for in quality!

Now, between each RP guild (at least, Alliance side, I only just started RPing Horde-side this week) you'll find a lot more RP events. Almost everything is inter-guild, though, but virtually all of the RP on this server is based around story arcs and events -- it sounds like that's what you're looking for.

The best advice I can give you is to create your character and then find whatever guild your character best fits into. If there isn't one, make one!

We have some excellent rp guilds on both sides. Ishnu, Homeland, AAMS are wonderful rp guilds and I am very happy with them.

As Cray suggested, the best way is just to interact with them.
