This is something the AAMS could handle. Having members in both factions, and the ability to co-ordinate cross faction item transfers, allows them to keep an eye on BOTH AHs for you.
I would suggest contacting your local AAMS representative (alliance side) and putting them to the task. They don't charge, unless they find the item, and the 100gold you've already offered is many times what they normally charage (original AH purchase price, AAMS transfer fee, plus tip)
A number of customers from both factions have used our services to complete sets or find that one perfect piece; just as you are doing.
