Rated battlegrounds & Firelands progression

Hey! My boyfriend and I recently popped on cenarion circle Alliance side for a different atmosphere from our old server (ED is gank fest, minimal RP horde side).

As a raid leader and avid pvper I was wondering what I should expect from Alliance on CC in regards to raiding and pvp? I do know there is a raid progression thread in the stickies but according to wowheroes it isn't up-to-date. I'm not interested in anything hardcore. I lead a team 2 nights a week for 3 hours. We're 3/7 so I'm use to average progression.

My main concern is just if I were to start anything up, be it old bot/bwd or a fl raid, if the interest would be there? Or if I'd have difficulties filling the spots.

As for pvp goes I am only concerned with town invasions and rbgs. If it's lackluster, that's not so much a dealbreaker for me as I still actively play on my old server so that can fulfill my pvp needs if necessary, but I was just wondering what it was like here in regards to organized rbgs. I checked the latter and no one sits at the 2200+ rank, so I don't know if anyone sits at lower ranks or what.

Like I said though, this is a second home for us, so I'm just kinda wanting to get a better idea of what my boyfriend and I will be doing here besides rp and stuff!

Most of the good Alliance PvPers transferred to Horde. Then they transferred along with most of the good horde PvPers. They all were 2200+ in RBGs. There's still a team that hovers around 1800-2000k on Horde side (usually a PuG too), not sure about Alliance.

The nature of RBGs is that it's very hard to have a 100% consistent group, especially on a server where PvP is very lacklustre with a very small portion of the population even remotely interested in it... much less competent people to make a decent group. Especially with the tight restrictions on RBG composition, very hard to make a group that works.

Cyrus, an officer in the Lluchduu Ocheliad, has been working hard to put together an RBG team for us. Getting a consistent group is proving quite difficult, but if that's what you're looking for along with RP, we definitely want more PvPing RPers in the Ocheliad.

Sigren, another Ocheliad officer, is currently organizing things for raids, and we'd be starting at T11 content, even though a number of us could walk into Firelands and pull our weight, but we want to establish a really consistent group first.

You can hit me up anywhere if you've got questions about us, or check out our website over at www.ocheliad.org

Join us or not, it's always nice to see more role players joining the server.
