((I'm writing this to actually show my work for once on Aurilla's "adventures" and to explain her recent injury. So <deep breath> wish me luck!))

The small flock of three stormcrow's twisted and turned in the air, falling with increasing velocity at every second. Green tails of flame, consuming their black feathery shapes. One of the birds met the ground like a green meteor and slid a few feet before stopping dead and slumping over. The other two birds shapes began to twist and turn, their feathers falling out and being replaced by fur instead. Their talons and wings twisting into legs with claws, and their feathery tails becoming elongated furry ones instead. The two night stalkers hit the ground hard and managed to land on their feet;but not before a prominent crunch was heard. The lavender one winced and collapsed onto the hard pan. Her insides seemed to scream they had traded places, and her shaky legs would not cooperate with her wishes.
"Quickly! Check her vitals, they will send a search party before long. We must get back to Evergrove, the portals can wait." The lavender wildcat said to the gray one. "B-But Miss Rainbloom your leg!" the gray male stammered as he raised a paw to point to the mangled shape of what was moments earlier, her left back leg. "I'm fine, see to her!" Aurilla snapped at the other druid as she ignored her pain and looked out over the bleak landscape that stretched out before them. She was sure she could see six thick, blocky shapes advancing on their position, rather quickly. Her long furry ears twitched, as she picked up the sounds of snarls and sharp claws scrambling on stone.
Aurilla moved to crawl her way over to where the gray cat and black stormcrow lay. The bird was limp and looked so unlike the majestic bird she had seen earlier laying all beat up and ruffled like that, a small pool of blood was seeping out onto the hardpan from underneath the shattered bird. The gray cat lay next to the bird shaking and quivering with small muffled sobs as tears matted the fur that enveloped his face. The lavender cat limped next to her gray companion and brushed against him. A look of compassion in her stern white feline like eyes as she brushed up against his side, in a comforting gesture. "We'll have time to grieve later, for now we should get-."
She did not have time to finish her words as the gray cat's eyes widened as he saw a set of strong jaws clamp around her throat and toss her like a rag doll into the base of one of the rocky spines that seemed to ravage this mountain like grass. Aurilla struggled to get to her feet as she saw six dog like figures converging on her comrade. There was something off about these dogs however, wisps of green fire licked the air from their lips, they had two heads instead of the one, and black scales covered their bodies. Every limb she had shouted at her mind that they could do no more as her eyes darkened in agreement.
The last thing she heard before darkness took her were several viscous snarls both demon, dog, and cat like.
