I'm writing this to send a huge thank you out to my raid group. Last monday I was fortunate enough to win the roll on the fire hawk that Ragnaros so kindly dropped for us. The mount is especially huge to me because not only am I a slightly above average wow player, I'm also a pretty big gear head. I've owned a 1999 ram air trans am since 2001. For those of you who aren't in the know about firebirds, there were models that had "fire chickens" on the hood. To see one, just google "Smokey and the Bandit" and you'll see what I mean. Not only that, but Pontiac sold "Firehawks" for a time and, in my opinion, were pretty much the coolest firebirds ever made. So not only did I get a pretty sweet mount, but I got a mount that relates closely with something that I enjoy IRL.
So again I say thank you. I'm lucky to have found a great group of people to raid with. While I enjoy the challenge of raiding, I think I enjoy spending time with you in vent even more. Raiding would get boring without all of Steeda's Anchorman references. Which reminds me, I have to go watch that movie again otherwise I won't know what the hell he's talking about. An extra special thank you goes out for Lambach. Your efforts in getting our raids up and running is especially appreciated. I would have quit in a flurry of nerdrage long ago if I had to deal with your holy paladin's repeated epic fails of nubbery.
