Greetings everyone, I was looking on these forums to see if there was a place to make the acquaintance of newcomers to the server, but I guess I shall have to make my own.
I have been playing WoW for way too long, but more so, on one server than any other! I originally come from Gilneas, and it’s been my home for many years. There have been many quests, raids, and conversations under my belt there in Gilneas, but I think it’s time I started fresh and so I have decided to give you all a try! I’ve heard and read many things about this particular Server, all good and decent so far. But I know that quantity doesn’t equal quality.
I’m here to relax, level a steadfast character and possibly even get the chance to role-play and participate in the many endeavors that you all have come to make it! So, what I’ve done is drum up a little bit of a side interview with Spara to give you guys the chance to know her a little bit better. Hope you all enjoy.
Spara: *Fidgets in her seat slightly, adjusting her hair slightly*
Interviewer: So, what’s your name?
Spa: Eh…Spara…
Int: Spara….from the clan?
Spa: Oh! Ironfoot, from th’ clan Ironfoot.
Int: Okay, Spara from the clan Ironfoot…that’s an odd name don’t you think?
Spa: Oh aye, mah daddeh a long time ago adopted th’ name. I canna tell ye what th’ original name was. So we stuck with et! He used to work in th’ hills of Loch Modan as a Guard, but that was just a bit much for ‘em. So, he did th’ dang’rous job of mining in th’ mountains of Searing Gorge, and th’ Burning Steppes. He later became a Foreman for the Diggeh’s league an put th’ othehs to work quite so! Not only was he known for his stubbornness, but also swift and sure kicks to those who didn’ approve of his choices. He was a good and stubborn man, daddeh….
Int: And your family?
Spa: *smiles a bit, but bites back a tear* Gone he is. Daddeh’s been bed ridden for some time. Mah sistah’s been aidin’ him an bringin’ him drinks and meals to help keep ‘em from getting’ lonely. But, they’re all I have left in this world.
Int: What is your specialty?
Spa: Wha? Cookin’ or fightin! But no, I dun like th’ fightin, but tis necessary to stay alive in this evah changin’ world. Just lookin’ out beyond the Iron Forge Mountains gives me the willies, but someone’s got to earn th’ wages somehow.
Int: What would be your profession out in the world?
Spa: Livin’ and breathin’ should be th’ most important! But that’s a privilege, not a right.
Int: I mean what is your class to put it bluntly.
Spa: Oh! It’s I guess you call th’ Shaman.
Int: Any reason why you went in that line?
Spa: You sure to ask a lot of questions don’t ya? I guess I have to have a reason for breathin’ too eh?
Int: My apologies, I’m only trying to get the viewers to understand who you are a little better.
Spa: *looks around a bit* Viewehs? What in th’ Devil are ye talkin’ about lad?
Int: Out there, on the internet! *smiles widely* I want to tell your story.
Spa: *nods slowly* Aaah, I see. So you buy in to one oh them fancy schamncy Gnome Inventions eh? I always knew they were a bit daft, but this does take th’ Keg this does! But to answer ye question lad, I chose it because of this hammer. *holds out a very old carving of what looks to be a stone totem* This has been passed down many of gen’rations. Daddeh was hopin’ fer a son to carry out the line, but I am the only one willin’ to keep et goin’. We dun know if we were from the Wildhammeh clan of th’ Mountains in the Peaks, but there’ve been storehs alike that talked of this small hammer.
Int: So, how old are you?
Spa: A lass neveh tells her age. But old enough to give ye a good chock on th’ knoggin fer askin’! And unless yer buyin’ this lass a drink, ye best move on with yer questions.
Int: *straightens in his chair* What do you hope to accomplish once you step out into the world beyond the mountains?
Spa: Oh, I dunno. I guess, to see if th’ stories are true. They say the world’s been laden in death, despair, turmoil of war and fire. I want to see if I can handle th’ truth, but most importantly, if I'm ready for such times. I canneh stay at home for th’ rest of me days now, can I? That’s no livin’ a Dwarf should hafta succumb to. But it’s in me blood to go out there in th’ wilds to see it all for meself. Ye only live once and I aim to push meself and bring storehs back to Daddeh to keep ‘em goin’!
Int: Well, thank you Spara of the Clan Ironfoot, for sharing your tale.
Spa: Wha? No more questions? That all?
Int: Yes, I’m afraid I don’t have any more at the moment, and I’m afraid to ask anything else, I’m scared you’ll live up to your name.
Spa: *laughs aloud* Smart lad!
Thank you for reading and hope to see you all have enjoyed this as much as I have preparing it! Hope to see you all out there in the fields!
