PUBLIC NOTICE: AAMS ANNOUNCES GUILD LIAISON PROGRAM

The Anytime & Anywhere Messaging Service is pleased to announce its latest public outreach program: guild liaisons within both the Horde and the Alliance!

We're offering members of either faction a unique chance to interact more directly with the world's largest neutral business enterprise. By appointing a specific liaison to a guild we're able to bring the AAMS and its services to you instantly, giving you a point of contact for all your business with us and with the other faction -- as well as access to all our accumulated news and knowledge, as soon as it passes our desk cleared for public dissemination. Here's how it all works!

* You, the officer of a licensed guild, organization, or business, request that a liaison be appointed from the AAMS.
* We assign one of our couriers to be your personal liaison and have a brief meeting to introduce the two of you.
* From then on, the liaison will help to keep your guild informed about any events or messages that might touch on your business, as well as passing along any news of general public interest.
* Should you need the services of the AAMS or wish to contact anyone from the other faction, the liaison provides a convenient contact to ensure that your business gets taken care of promptly.
* In the event of business or conflict between two liaisoned guilds the liaisons from both can assist in mediation or negotiation.

It's our hope that we will eventually be able to incorporate many of the larger guilds into our network, ensuring rapid information-sharing between all of them. Confidential information, of course, remains protected by our same policy of absolute discretion as always -- this is simply a way to ensure that news relevant to you makes it to your guild as quickly as possible!

We plan on contacting several guilds with specific invitations this week. However, this program is open to any registered guild, and anyone may feel free to request a liaison from us at any time. Liaisons will usually touch base with guild leaders or officers once or twice a week, or whenever news of note reaches them.

Contact the AAMS to be introduced to your liaison today!

((Ok roleplaying guilds! This is a new AAMS project to help get some of the ongoing stories that live off in their separate corners a little more intertwined, or at least to make sure people involved in one know about the other one as well. Think of it as a primitive wire service, combined with all our usual messaging and courier offerings. We'll have a hand-picked AAMS member check in with your chosen officers a couple of times a week with all the latest in server news, projects that might interest your guild based on its main focus, and any in-character gossip we can pull out of the messages we carry without breaching confidentiality.

Because everyone could use a little more gossip and scandal in their lives.

This is a brand-new project for us, so sign up, and then let us know what improvements you'd like to see! Our hope is that it'll give roleplayers another way to interact with the larger community, and we're always looking for new and better ways to do that. If you're in a roleplaying guild and you haven't heard from us yet, let us know that you're interested and we'll get a liaison signed up for you right away!))

((I'd love to get a Liaison! In fact, I'll need at least two. However, I have to tie up the end to a mini-storyline first. I plan to post a short story chronicling the end of my hunt for a new nether battery, then I'll be able to get back to my usual machining and gunsmithing.

Then, there's the hero alliance I have in the works. I'm still working the kinks out, but I've selected a name and signature item (GHI item) for it: Netherguard of Draenor. More when I've fleshed it out a little more.))

Bumps.

Why bumps? For these very clearly good reasons:

This is a good chance to open up our old, experienced RP community to the generations that will play here when we'll either be too tired or gone.

Give the example to said new generation and give them the opportunity to try their characters through larger RP plotlines. Either with more major or sideline roles.

Open up the juicy RP at all. This community needs to open up more, like it was back in the old days. The infamous notion of "Been there done that" has been used enough. Wake up your old nostalgic side and use your twisted minds: it's time to make this community even more lively!

Rekinder old relations, find new friends among these old guilds and open up more to new ones!: FEEL like a community, not a stagnant network of old timers and institutions. As years go by, we left too much slide away.

Think big, think large. We have keyboards to talk about plotlines, plan stories for large groups, ask around if people would be interested to join. I find a lot of fun in these things, thus I believe so would you. And really, our raiding doesn't really get in the way of that, nor do our daily lives. It takes 5 minutes and a bunch of brains to come up with fun. Luckily, we have thousands of brains in this community.

This is only a first, large step towards achieving this. Seize it with both hands! As much as I'd bully all of you around with it, I won't. I know where you guys come from. 'Cause I've also "been there, done that". Doesn't mean I don't miss it. ::smiles::

So why not give it a try! Apply today!! The more answers we get, the more people we'll involve, the more fun we'll come up with! LET'S PLAY THIS WORLD OF WARCRAFT, DANGIT!

Dernes glanced at the notice and started to grin. "What do you think Nightshade... think we want a liaison? We are going to have to set very specific terms though..." The Tauren chuckled and tucked the notice away, making a note to attempt to remember to get in touch with the AAMS soon.

Jess wrapped a long scarf around her nose and trundled outside into the morning air, which grew steadily more chilly with the approaching winter. Eagerly standing on her toes, she reached up to check the bulletin board for information on new assignments. A recently posted notice, header written in bold capitals, captured her attention first.

"Guild liaison program? Sounds fun! I hope I get assigned to someone soon!"

"This would be grand. I think we would need a lass or lad that could drink some ale and then some more ale, and so on."

Brenri began writing a letter to "th'wee gnome who does th'talky talk business with th'other side", in order to request a liaison.

Currently we have requests for Liaisons from the following guilds:

- Phlogiston Brotherhood (A)
- Pia Presidium (A)
- Pillar of Honor (A)
- Wardens of Ysera (H)

We'll work on sitting down with leaders from each of these to introduce them to a chosen Liaison! If there's someone specific you want as your side of the equation, let us know, otherwise we'll just be asking around in the Hearthstone channels on each faction...

I noticed Jesyka is new. Pia will take her if she is available. Yes, I know what I said before, but put us down.

Gentyl, we'll have a little sit-down with whoever you like (or just you, of course) and get your guild and Jesyka introduced! She's ready and eager to get started.

Homeland wishes to request, if possible, the services of Yotingo. He has served us honourably and well in the past, and he and I have established a rapport, if not outright friendship.

"Message for you, Supervisor!"

At first, the mound of paperwork, crates, boxes, engineering whatsis, undelivered love letters dated back to last February, three sleeping prairie dogs, and half a pumpkin...didn't answer.

"Supervisor?" The new courier eyed the pile. It crouched in the back of the tiny Ratchet office, like a bear using a dwarf's ale cellar for its winter den. Like a bear, it didn't seem to like being disturbed, if the rank smell it was giving off was anything to go by.

The courier swallowed and then called out at the top of her lungs. "Supervisor! Yo-ting-go!"

The left side of the mound began shifting and twitching. The courier shrunk back, expecting some bug-eyed monster to appear, but only a three-fingered troll hand reached out and beckoned at her madly.

The courier stared at it for a long time, then remembered what she was there to do. She cautiously set the message scroll in the hand. Hand and scroll disappeared back into the mess. There was much hmming and crunching, and suddenly, the rest of the troll climbed out.

"Missus Poni wants me ta be a liason?" Yotingo asked, picking packing peanus out of his bright blue mohawk.

The courier nodded faintly. "What-what were you doing in there?"

Yotingo picked up a broken lantern, inspected it, then tossed it into the mess. "Winter office cleaning, mon. After all, I be missin' da fall cleanin'. An' da summer cleanin'. An' da spring cleanin' before dat. I still be havin' da memo here dat told me when ta do it!"

The troll stunk a hand into the mound, dug around, then came up a scrap of paper and half a turtle's wishbone.

"Hm, no, no, dat's da invitation to Liko's weddin'. Where DID it go...?"

"Supervisor!" The courier butted in before the troll could get lost in the office files again. "Your liason job?"

"Oh, right mon! Tell her I'd be glad ta. In fact, I'll head out dere right now!" The troll paused, looking the courier up and down. "Ya be new, aren't ya?"

"Yes, sir. I just signed on yesterday."

"Oh ho!" Yotingo grinned. "Welcome to da AAMS! Don't forget ta pick up your tabard an' uniform, an' da Caer Darrow project be every Thursday. Andelia can be showin' ya how ta work da guild vault machine. Oh, and mon..."

"Y-yes?"

"Ya be havin' prairie dog scat on your shoe."

PUBLIC ANNOUNCMENT: AAMS GUILD LIAISON PROGRAM LAUNCH A SUCCESS!

The Anytime & Anywhere Messaging Service is proud to report that the launch of their newest initiative, the AAMS Guild Liaison Program, has met with a resounding chorus of support from our clients.

Already, we have placed AAMS Liaisons with two of Azeroth's most influential organizations, <Pia Presidum> and <Homeland>. Congratulations to both of these groups for being the first participants on the ground floor of this exciting new program. We at the AAMS would also like to extend our congratulations to the couriers selected as the first liaisons in the program, Jesyka Gearbound and Yotingo.

We look forward to assigning liaisons to all the other guilds that have expressed interest in this groundbreaking new program as the next few days and weeks progress.

We thank all of our clients and supporters again for their continued patronage of the Anytime & Anywhere Messaging Service.

Regards,
Sgt. Rillik Verogoth

We would also be interested in acquiring the services of one of your liaisons. <The Shadows of Lordaeron> is a small, yet busy organization, and we believe with the help of the AAMS we can become much more efficient in our communications with other groups. You may contact either Mistress Lisabine Belrose or the Lady Merain Carver to see to the details.
