Here is the story of Ævolution's Joser's Heroes...
Just a bit of background on us quiet bunch of progression raiders. You will not likely see us in trade, you will not see us showing off in Stormwind but we are out there. Joser's Heroes is one of Ævolution 10 man raids whose members include Bernadette, Cali, Cassey, Cyaan, Espadaone, Lobaera, Nevazar, Ozel, Trevalin and Zeho. We formed during T6 (December 2007) to ravage Zul'Aman and we managed to pull off 12 successful Amani bear mount runs. Moving into T9 we successfully completed several times the very rare Tribute to Insanity runs in Trial of the Crusader...killing Heroic Anub'Arak, and all bosses leading up to him on heroic with no wipes. T10 we were one of the first 10 mans to get our drakes and completed 11/12 heroic modes....we were just too burnt to do LK after almost a year in ICC. During this whole time we were all raiding 25 mans and doing 10 mans in our "spare time" one night per week.
Fast forward to T11, with 10 and 25 mans sharing raid lockouts we all dropped 25 man raiding to focus on our 10 man. For many of us 4 nights a week of raiding was too much so with T11 two nights of very focused progression raiding has been the plan. We completed T11 with 5/12 Heroic bosses down. T12 we are now 4/7 heroic mode and working hard on Beth and Alysrazor. What our raid has to offer...
- You do not have to be part of our guild to raid. We would like you to apply if you like us though....but it is not a deal breaker.
- We provide all flasks, elixirs, potions and fish feasts. Repairs are your own responsibility but, if you join the guild you get 75g per day nudge, nudge, wink, wink!
- Loot - Free roll loot with a conscience. We have always done loot this way and our members are very respectful of others needs. We all know that if that piece goes to the right person the raid as a whole prospers
- Fun on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 9 server time! We are focused but we have a great time and there is no raid leader screaming at everyone over every little mistake. We are an autonomous collective who works together to kill
- Enchanting - We provide Maelstroms to raiders at no charge
- BoE Epics - Free roll and we will sell them to raiders for their alts at a discount if they are not needed by a main
What we are looking for...
- Progression raiding requires dedication, patience and no attitudes
- Class leading knowledge we love raid members that thrive on theorycrafting and obsession with your class.
- Focused, prepared and ready to raid on time. Your gear must be enchanted and gemmed the best it can be.
The Heroes pride ourselves on several things:
1) Efficiency! We do in 2 raid nights (6 hours) what most raids do in 4 days. We've been a top 10-man progression raid for over 3 years, and we do it by being focused, being prepared, and working together.
2) Knowledgeable raid members! The people we bring in to the raid have several things in common: first, they all know their class backwards and forwards. Second, they're responsible and helpful. The raid leaders are not micro-managers; we trust that you know what to do and will make changes as needed. Third: flexibility! Sometimes the DK has to kite adds for an entire tier worth of content, and he does it with a smile! Fourth: we only recruit losers. If you join us, you'll probably be the coolest kid in the raid.
3) We don't yell, we don't scream, we don't do drama. Do your job, respect the raid members, be willing to work on problems as a team, and you'll do great.
4) We're proud, with a smidge of humble. We're damned proud of kicking !@# and taking names, but we're never going to go onto /trade or /general and tell the world about it.
