World of Warcraft®

I've been on this server for around 4 years now and met quite a variety of friendly people.

Horde side, I must admit that I have my posse of people who I've been playing with for a while so I don't really do much outside of my two main guilds and I am not sure how the experience would be coming in as a newcomer without any connections. I certainly think there are plenty of great people Horde side though, or else I wouldn't keep playing here for all this time. ;-)

Alliance-side, I have an old abandoned Gnome Warlock that was my main in vanilla who I decided to brush off and transfer over to finally level in Cata. I managed to find a couple of different guilds with very friendly, warm, and helpful members. The first one had lots of nice people but kicked me due to inactivity I think because I didn't touch my warlock for a few months in there. The most recent one I joined accepted me even though I warned them there might be long stretches of inactivity and the members helped me with getting mats to make my Jeeves and they've also been helpful in offering glyphs and other things too, They're incredibly friendly and chatty so I'm really enjoying it. I think it's a great atmosphere!

Feel free to poke me on Ziola (horde) or Joani (alliance) if you do happen to check out the server and want a buddy to introduce you and your friends to some people/guilds.

@ Caska: I apologize for the random @ posting to you, but your name struck me as familiar. There's a host of other people named Caska in the game for sure, but I figured I had to ask. Did you ever play on thorium brotherhood in a guild named Onslaught at one point?

If not, I'm really sorry. It's just I was in that guild and our MT had the name Caska as well, so seeing it again brought back some interesting memories of a dude named Mourne doing murloc noises in vent.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle. I think I played on Kallacia during that time, a draenei shaman. But I was originally Amalythia on TB. I was pretty much otherwise known as, "That chick who followed Tifana around a lot." That was so long ago...but I remember a lot of running SSC.

It's funny how things work out sometimes! Feel free to whisper me in game/shoot me a mail or something sometime.

I rolled here back in the summer, got into RP before I hit lvl 10. And was warmly welcomed by everybody I met. Every guild treated me fairly when I talked to them.

I haven't been able to play on CC much lately, (And it's killing me) but whenever I do get the chance to play, I've little to no negative experiences.

Yes, every guild has it's cliques, but in my experience, if you put yourself out there, 99% of the time, you'll be included into that clique.

Arlston ICly has "Friends" in 4-5 other guilds because he's an interesting character, and was putting in the effort to do so.

Poor Ais, she's such a sweetheart. She told me you guys were going to run an instance with, "A warrior named Caska." and I was like, "Wow that name sounds so familiar...I wonder..." But I didn't want to send you a whisper out of the blue like, "HAY DIDS YOU PLAY ON THE THORIUM BROTHERHOOD?!"

Man, that really is crazy when you think about it. It's been like 3+ years. Kinda sad to see the state of TB now, but glad to be seeing familiar faces again!
