**NOTE** Before you read further! This is for those who are available to play during typical "American bankers' hours" i.e. you do NOT attend school in the U.S. or have an American 9-5 job. Also, this post is not about the character I am posting as, so ignore my level 73 Taurenness! That said...

I'm trying to get together a group of IC level-buddies to "grow up together" either here or on WRA. I wanted to feel out people here and see if there was any local interest before I pick a server for sure. Either CC or WRA is fine with me; I just want it to be somewhere I can have a good RP backdrop outside the group when the group is not on.

Basic info: I'm a writer who works at home and has a child, which means my free time is when child is at school (i.e. when most players are unavailable). I am looking for that rare bird, the regular daytime RPer! I'd like a group of 3-5 people who are compatible and who would be interested in setting up some regular times to level together and experience the game world IC.

I am flexible about which side (Horde/Alliance), race, storyline, activities (quests, dungeons, Battlegrounds), basically everything except the timeframe (meetings must be M, T, W, Th, and/or Fri between 9-3 Pacific/noon-6pm Eastern).

Are you looking for current characters? (I have this guy and a elf priest around your level) Or for brand new ones?

Either way, I'd be interested in this. My schedule varies, but it looks like I should be able to fit something in with yours.

I was thinking brand-new characters, because I've taken a long break from the game and would like to sort of start from the beginning to get a better sense of continuity.

I'm going to be sticking around for at least a year now 'cause I bought the year's pass and talked my husband into doing the same (But he can't RP with me in the daytime either due to, y'know, WORK.)

I have some babies here I wouldn't mind running with others. Yes, I'm committed to CC and alliance.

Horde, warlock, either a Forsaken or an orc.

Warlock is the only class I don't have on this server--if you want a different race/faction/etc, I can swing most anything on WRA.

Hmmmm... how do you feel about an alliance warlock? Not saying it's a must, just trying to see how open you might be as I think some of our other CC-willing folks were leaning toward Alliance side.

I've got a level 11 gnome priest on WrA, as well as a 38 goblin priest and 25 worgen druid here. Plus lots of empty character slots on both servers, to roll up something new, either side.

Fear not! I don't intend to make everyone play that ENTIRE time! Hehe. Just need to make sure our little get-togethers occur somewhere within those boundaries; otherwise I will get interrupted by an enthusiastic and grabby 2-year-old every 5 minutes :-)

I'm 99% sure we'll end up over here on CC, and if so, I will start a thread specifically to plan and chronicle our adventures (so others can join in as we go, or RP with us, or what have you).

I, and all my alts, tend to have daytime hours available to me for play. I'm a merchandiser (aromatherapy and herbal products), and often times, I literally can't make sales until afternoon and more often evening, due to the schedules of my vendors.

I strike out into the world a lot, but if you holler, I might be around. I'm not very good at small talk, though, and neither are most of my characters.

EDIT: I'm actually thinking about remaking a human paladin who was my main back in TBC. the level-RP would be temporary, though, as his max-level persona is already written. I also have three alts who have approached the level 60-70 range who are waiting for playmates, essentially. Both are warriors, and I ended up transferring my 85 warrior here.

I think the group is filled up now, but any daytime people are always welcome to holler at us for RP or other fun. Soon I'll be starting a thread detailing what the group is all about, and tracking the story as it develops, so people can eavesdrop on the proceedings and join in whenever they like. While the main group will be no more than 5 for the sake of dungeoning, we will always be happy to expand our RP and story to anyone at any level!

I'd be willing to play an antagonist for this group.

Have a couple of chaotic characters in the works.

(I'm down. Horde or Alliance, WrA or here on CC. I'd prefer CC, but whatev. Also, I -will- get interrupted every five minutes, but she's usually pretty mellow. Plus, she likes spell effects.)

What Kogorian said, but given the frequency of absences thus far, I'd be more than welcome to add a sixth! See the "Lost Clan" thread for a rundown of what's happened so far. It would be kind of awesome to have a rogue in the mix. :D

Yes. I would love for us to not be all ranged DPS when we start running dungeons together....
