AAMS Client Experience Survey

Derscha sat at the desk, on one of the special gnome-booster chairs designed to let her use "normal" sized furniture. Arranged in neat little rows over the desk's surface were various slips of different types of papers, in various types of script, in various languages.

There was one thing in common: they were all letters sent to the Caer Darrow offices about the AAMS.

They'd been piling up on Verogoth's old desk, neglected, and hadn't really caught Derscha's attention straight away. In fact, they had sat in a little box along with the other bits and pieces of paperwork that had gotten lost in the shuffle of changing leadership.

Then she recalled Akiae's comment at the recent company meeting about customer complaints, and she remembered the stack.

It wasn't all bad. There were quite a few thank-you notes from happy clients, but Derscha knew better than to let them swell the AAMS' collective head. The letters she was truly interested in were the complaints: they were the ones that would tell them how to improve their business.

There seemed to a thread of common issues: late deliveries, inability to contact AAMS in a timely manner, catapulted deliveries resulting in property damage....

She hmmed to herself. There had to be a more.... scientific.... way of tracking complaints. A way to map out, or survey, people's experiences with AAMS.

A.... client experience survey?

Derscha jotted down some questions. There. That was a start. She'd give copies of the survey to the couriers to pass out with deliveries, or maybe just ask people in the street. There was no such thing as too much information!

Thank you for choosing the AAMS!
We would love to hear how your experience went today.

1. Did you send or receive a delivery today?
2. Was your courier polite?
3. Have you used AAMS in the past?
4. How easy was it to contact the AAMS?
5. Was your package in good condition?
6. Was your package delivered in a timely manner?
7. Any other feedback?

Please return this survey to the AAMS. Thank you for participating!

(( Expect to be badgered soon by a pushy gnome and her army of couriers for your opinions! Feel free to respond to this survey on the forum here.))

Survey? SURVEY? Bah! Surveys are deceptively simple-looking pieces of parchment that are tedious, mind-numbing, and require far too much thought to complete for my tastes.

The first feedback I offer you, A.A.M.S., is this: One should be able to rank a courier simply on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being unglorious and 10 being GLOOOORIOUS! Yes, I think this would work MUCH better.

In either case, I accept your challenge and will complete the survey, as follows.

1. Not today. My previous transaction with the AAMS was several days previous.

2. Sulailee, the courier in question, was most attentive to my many concerns regarding the delivery and the sensitive nature of the item in question. She was courteous, and showed me great respect.

3. I have, as indicated in questions 1 and 2.

4. The AAMS was quick in responding to the message I sent out requesting their assistance, easily within a day. The haste was most appreciated.

5. I was not witness to what state the package arrived in, but the state was sufficient for the recipient to read and understand the message inside the scroll-case in question. For me, that is more than enough.

6. Yes. Gloriously so, given the importance of the message in question.

7. The AAMS does honorable work, and I applaud your efforts. I also wish to rank Sulailee on the scale of "Unglorious" to "GLOOOOORIOUS!" as firmly "GLOOOOORIOUS!" That is all.

I would like to praise courier Borbitox on his extreme professionality, especially on such a stringent paygrade. Quite how he hasn't been promoted yet is beyond me. The way the packages almost float along from his hands to the recipient in such a delightful manner is exqusitely performed, and can only be a result of superior talent. His charming demanour only adds more value to the already impeccable service he provides. In fact, his consummate performance has me at this very moment wrapping up everything I can find, simply as an excuse to use your services again.

(Is that what you wanted, Mr. Borbitox? It was? Splendid. Payment to be made into my account by the usual means.)

Tyrynna stared at the paper. The thought to herself; Survey? Survey! I don't even LIKE surveys!

Sighing, she picked up a pen and wrote.

1: I received. Last week, mind you, but I received.

2: My courier was a part of the Lluchduu Ocheliad. Polite as she was capable of, I think.

3: Not before I received my message, no.

4: Again, my courier was Ocheliad for some odd reason. It was an AAMS delivery, but I didnt even contact them.

5: It was a message. How exactly could it be in good condition?

6: I guess.

7: <This section is mostly blank, save for a few doodles in corners and the below message>

Have a nice day. Next time, get me a courier who's actually WITH the AAMS

Instead of with any answers the survey is returned with nothing but a crude sketch.

It appears to show an elf doing unspeakable things; the name "Akiae" appears with an arrow pointing to the rude drawing.

There's nothing better than a fine glass of white sparkling wine and a moment of peace in the office, she thought to herself. While sitting comfortably in her leather chair she idly browsed through some of the reviews customers had sent back from Derscha's newest initiative. "They did listen to what I said after all... and it's bearing some fruits! That's splend---"

Her train of thought stopped the moment she laid her eyes on the crude drawing of her doing unspeakable things. Her eyes frosted in time for a moment before putting the drawing back on her heavy, weathered desk. She thought a moment, cupping her chin with her right hand and after a faint, deft sigh she grabbed her quill and an inkwell, dipped lightly into it and edited the drawing in what she thought would have made it perfect.

A mustache.

"El Akiao is born."

In her wake, she left the silly drawing pinned on one of the common desks' walls for everyone to see.

"I really wonder why someone would send me this though..."

Bah. I guess it's not that important right now.

1. Did you send or receive a delivery today?

Not today, but I send frequently.

2. Was your courier polite?

The couriers are always polite, except for that time Verogoth chewed me out for endangering couriers...again. I think that was over the limeade.

3. Have you used AAMS in the past?

Oh, many times. I am, after all, your worst and best customer.

4. How easy was it to contact the AAMS?

It's usually pretty easy unless someone tips you off about an...unusual delivery.

5. Was your package in good condition?

the cockroach I received was in very good condition. Unfortunately.

6. Was your package delivered in a timely manner?

I assume so. It was still alive, unlike the maggot you once delivered that was dead and I got blamed for it.

7. Any other feedback? I always use AAMS for my horde deliveries. Service with a smile, sort of. Sometimes it's a grimace. I use AAMS for alliance deliveries also at times, but often it's easier to just mail things.
