Sinking back in his chair with a quiet groan Kordion glances to the papers on his desk. For months now he had been working on drafting, refining and even at times re-drafting a mutual defense treaty to gather the orders of the alliance together. It was finally in a draft he was satisfied with sending out and had done just that to quite a few orders with many more oh the list. So far the majority seemed in favor of the idea at least in practice, some had ideas of how to better the document even which essentially was the point of getting a rough draft out there.

The most recent had came from Timeus, a Gnomish mage of the Pillar of honor. He spoke of the gnomes and their plight which had regrettably led to their status as the jokes of the alliance. In essence he was right and it put Kord's mind to thinking. The gnomes were not the only ones treated as such despite being the most prevalent victims, as a whole even when they allied together the different races had a tendency of looking down upon each other even if they might not realize it.
Timeus and Erelyn went on speaking for some time of the old alliance treaties and others after Kord made the suggestion that Tim draft up a clause to alleviate his concerns with the caveat that it needed to be broad enough to include all races. For his part...the rogue let his mind drift thinking back over the treaty itself and what still needed to be done.
--
Shifting a bit to ease his aching ribs Kord snagged a copy of the treaty and his quill absently setting to making new copies, it had changed quite a bit from the first draft and still had a ways to go...but anything worth its salt was worth working on.
