Bralox may have not known much anymore in the grand scheme of things, but he did know n=one thing. Everyone could be cheered up with a three tiered layer cake. The cake was deposited on the kitchen table, along with four or five other smaller cakes. Both orcs sat down, one on each side of the table.

It was a massacre of pastry.

((Um...@Scescyle, and everybody else, every once in a while I like to do something different with Drake's look. Given his recent boot from his nice, safe faction city, I figured something had to kind of represent that.))

((Losing his crazy hair is two things: A., it's functional. He could end up in fights, what with 20K on his head, and loose hair flying around is not helpful in such cases. xD ))

((B., Drake's not going back to the Horde until he grows up. Losing the hair is almost a visual-metaphor-ish thing for the new beginning he's experiencing. When he has crazy, long hair again, he'll have had a lot of adventures, and will have some GLOOOOORIOUS new stories to share.))

((That said, due to the sheer public outcry in guild chat last night I might just give him his hair back. xD Possibly. Haven't quite decided yet.))

((Apologies for not being online, IRL is crazy. Spent all day at work and my evening working on an film art resume so a local director can get government grants for their work. Will have responses written @Bralox from Mok'Rukh and @Tyrynna from Drake real soon. P.S., @Tyr, next time I'm talking with you in-game I'd like to discuss the new thread we has planned! Ideas abound.))

((P.S. Oskor, I will have Drake's message to the warchief sent to your attention, since you seem to be the character representing Orgrimmar's reactions. ^^; If you're okay with that.))

Mok'Rukh let out a loud, and ground-shaking belch, despite his elderly frame. He was fairly sure he was going to need a new set of robes when this was all done - that had been a LOT of cake! Mok'Rukh felt like he and Bralox had eaten an entire kodo!

...wait...they eaten an entire kodo. And three boars. And a three-tiered, GLOOOOORIOUS cake. And the four or five other cakes that Bralox had brought along, each in splendidly flavors. A goblin neighbour from the Venture Co. camp to the east had come to see what the racket was about, and had mysteriously vanished shortly thereafter. Everything had happened so fast that Mok'Rukh wasn't sure, but they might have eaten him too. His stomach was a grumbling, protesting, agonizing mess of icing, boar ribs, roast kodo, and more Cactus Cider than was probably healthy for an orc of ANY age.

"Splendid, Mister Bralox, splendid!" Mok'Rukh smiled, as he reclined back in the chair, in front of the pastry massacre that was the kitchen table. There had been something else, though...something important...some reason that the old orc had invited Mister Bralox over, but he couldn't quite - !

More cake, maybe?

Oh, of course! The letters!

Mok'Rukh put all thoughts of cake and roasted meat aside, and disappeared into a cupboard, fishing out a couple of letters that Drakehide had written - one to the Warchief and one to some Lahkin fellow - and handed them over to his good friend Bralox. He also dug parchment and a quill out of the cupboard, and composed a hasty letter, himself.

"Now, Mister Bralox," Mok'Rukh explained, "Two of these must go to Garrosh Hellscream, and one of them must go to Lahkin, whoever that is. Odd name for an orc. Anyway, Wife'll be back from the Crossroads when you're done, with food and other supplies...so...by the time you're done..."

Mok'Rukh grinned broadly, and put his hands up victoriously.

"There will be MORE CAKE!"

((EDIT: @Bralox, sent you the letters in-game via Mok'Rukh for delivery, along with some gold to cover any neutral AH expenses. ^^; Send Hellscream's messages to Oskor, and Lahkin's message to Lahkin, if you could. Many thanks - and see you later, for cake!))

((EDIT: @All, caved to peer pressure. xD Drake's got his hair back.))

Drakehide was standing on the docks at Booty Bay, waiting for the boat for Ratchet to arrive.

It had been an interesting couple days, to see the least.

Drakehide had met Tyrexus at last, and had been not only placed in a position where he could not kill the Forsaken, but placed in a position where he and Tyrexus had been fighting alongside each other. The warrior's friendship with the mage Derkashi had fallen apart, thanks to his ejection from the Horde. Pakaza had reappeared, the first time Drakehide had seen him since the Stockades, and had offered Drakehide financial assistance if he needed it during his journey. Drakehide had found Fehl, the first time he'd seen her since the Wyvern's Tail Inn, and she was ranting, furious, seemingly driven just a little...insane...? To top it all off, on the journey back from Booty Bay, Drakehide had survived an attempt on his life at the Salty Sailor tavern. Sort of.

And on the subject of the Salty Sailor tavern...what sort of self-respecting bar didn't serve Cactus Cider? Most unglorious!

At the tavern, Drakehide made a new friend in the warrior Souvik. Souvik had been intent on ending Drakehide's life in vengeance for the offense done to the Horde, but after a drink and a good chat the two had come to a sort of understanding. Souvik had offered Drakehide somewhere to stay if he was in crisis, and Drakehide had offered Souvik warrior training.

Fortunately, so far, the number of bounty hunters set on collecting 20,000 gold had been few, but there were whispers. Rumors, that the Modas il Toralar might be on his tail, and that there were other individuals who could use the gold as well. He was prepared, though. He'd invested in an number of new enhancements to his armor, and weapons.

The only one to whom Drakehide intended to answer to, for his crimes, were the Warchief and the Horde at large. Let the bounty hunters come.

Rather than just standing at the pier wasting time, Drakehide decided to start checking over some of the tinkers and gadgets he'd recently had attached to his gauntlets, and his belt. He paused when he came to one of them, one of them that was, of yet, still untested.

Drakehide had experienced a very poor past few days. He needed something to cheer himself up. Perhaps it was time he gave that Mind Amplification Dish a field test...he'd acquired it specifically because it presented an effective counter to the huntress Tyrynna's telepathic abilities. While Drakehide counted her a friend, he was all too aware that circumstances could change...that they could be face to face again, in battle...and that, again, he would be at the mercy of powers he could not defend himself against.

This device would solve all of that. But how to make sure that it worked...?

The warrior got an idea. An awful, awful idea.

As a devilish grin grew across the warrior's face, he knew EXACTLY who he was going to test it on, and how he was going to test it. And Stormwind was conveniently nearby...

((EDIT: Drake's side journey with the Mind Amplfication Dish will probably start up in a separate thread shortly. Still waiting just to confirm a few details. ^^))

"I could not kill him" Souvik told to himself "and still I am happy!"
Souvik had gone to meet Bom'bay, the apprentice witch doctor of Sen'jin Village, to know about the hideout of Drakehide, the drunk Blood Elf who pissed on The Warchief.
But the crazy doctor told him, "Go Mon, Go for Fame and Fortune, and earn curse and grief!"
"Forget the mad" Souvik smiled "path of glory is awaiting for me".
Souvik reached Booty Bay, and surprisingly found the wretched redskin strolling in the walkway without any worry!
Souvik startled, no sign of fear in his face while the entire Horde is running after him?
"By da Sethiss" Souvik warned "surrender to me, or face your doom"!
Surprisingly he offered Souvik for a drink!
Though it would be a good idea to kill the blood elf while he was drunk, but Souvik was not a bounty hunter after all, Royal Gurubashi Blood flows in his vein! Moreover he felt very uneasy to share a drink with someone whose race love to spill bloods of his keen!
But suddenly the warning of the crazy witch doctor came to his mind and he thought to himself "such relaxed behaviour after such a great crime! Either he is cold blooded criminal, or he is really victim of accidental circumstances!"
Souvik thought to himself, "I may kill him later, but first I should talk to him! I can't punish some one on the basis of rumor"!
They shared a drink, then one again,..and again, and again,..... it goes on,............both were intoxicated later, the night passed, first ray of the Sun entered the bar, and in the pure soft morning sun, he found a new friend, his first friend outside the city of Zuldazar, a friend who belonged to the race whom he hated most! Strange!
"Go my friend Drake, go, wherever ya go, remember ya have found a friend in a Jungle Troll, who will be always for ya" Souvik burst in laughter looking at the sky "who cares for 20,000 gold, atleast not Souvik, when he made a friendship worth all the golds in all the Trade Princes' combined gold reserve!"
Souvik started for his missions to Desolace!

"So, I was thinking, maybe I could go to Sen'jin or something to get supplies." Alana said, stretching.

For all you know, someone saw us, more specifically, YOU breaking ME out of Orgrimmar. And your namesake is so shiny someone could see it from amile away. At night.

"All this for a guy. And he isn't even single." Alana sighed. "I don't see how this is fair.

Is that all that's ever on your mind? Marriage and babies?

"There's more to me than that! I also think about bunnies."

...

"You know... 20,000 is a LOT of money. Probably not too hard to get."

Alana.

"What?"

I understand that you want to be secure and have twenty kids or something, but you are not turning Drakehide in for some petty cash.

"I do not want twenty kids! My lifetime wish is for six. And a husband, of course."

I prove my point.

"What? I'm the princess of the Silverscythe clan. I need an heir! Or two... or three... or four... five--

ALANA.

"What?"

Don't you think it's a little, oh, I don't know... EARLY to be thinking about that?

"It's never too early to think about your future!"

How old are you.

"Sessie, I--"

How old are you.

"78."

You're too young.

"That's not too terribly little."

And my name is Mograine.

"Wait, what?"

YOU IDIOT.

"That hurts. Back on the topic we derailed from, why not?"

Because I said so.

"Do you like him?"

I'm MARRIED. To FERALAEN.

"Are you scared of him?"

No.

"Then I don't see why not." Alana stood up and turned around, putting her hands on her hips.

"20,000 is a lot of gold for us. Maybe enough to recover."

Scescyle looked up at Alana. Memories flashed before her eyes-- of their leveled home, smaller than undercity, but still with six districts, deep in the mountains, where they thought no one would find them. Scescyle thought of young apprentices, young and willing to learn, who died... of Alana's parents, the liveliest people she'd ever met.

Suddenly, it all made sense. Alana was lonely, all these years, with only her brother to keep her company. She grew up as a misfit and an outcast, despite her heritage. She wanted somewhere to belong, somewhere she'd be welcome, and she felt the only kind of belonging she could feel now was to old friends and her own flesh and blood.

"Well?" Alana said. "A life or a society? What do you choose?"

The Fireflight Soul Society's population never reached 1,000, but it was still much more than one orc-spirited elf.

A life for a society. Fine. I'll help you.

((Sorry, Drakehide, you're not clear yet XD))

((There's no way Lanie's going to do her worst. That would result in Drakehide getting killed or a forced marriage. Which would be very UNglorious for him and his girlfriend.))

((Yes, Lanie's nuts. Now, please excuse me while I eat my Froot Loops.))

((Hope to have updates on stuff soon. Drake went on a little side quest for a while, and right now...well, IRL's kind of bonkers at the moment, so I don't know how often I'll be online or even on forums in the next little bit. Will try and keep this updated, though. ^^;))

((Very sorry that I had to log out before I found out what happened in the Tail, or what you guys are up to now. I really did mean to come back after Kosh'harg, but...IRL stuff happened, and I had to sign off. Which bugs me cuz DARNIT Scescyle, I want to figure out what you're up to! And what's got Vel and Akira so cheesed off. Drakehide left the tavern earlier tonight GENUINELY confused. xD))

((On a related note, Andae and Cleoh, your support of Drakehide in his time of need is much appreciated. I really enjoyed RPing with you guys when we were doing those dungeon runs earlier, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about you two turning me in to bounty hunters. xD So thanks for the RP, and thanks for putting up with my shoddy tanking. ^^;))
