Sprocketeer eyed the Draenei with mild interest as he relayed the message that was to be sent to any member of Conclave. It was odd that this early in the morning, the Shadowrunner was the only one who responded. She'd sort that out later though. Between whacks of the blacksmith hammer on the anvil and the low hiss of the forge as she smelted bars of obsidium.
Telikan took out a scroll from his parcel.
"To any member of the Conclave. My name is Garorn Loreseeker of the Loreseekers. We acknowledge Conclave as part of the Alliance and a partner in interests with ourselves. I bid two things, one an alliance to further discover the mysteries of Azeroth and beyond, and also to help the Loreseekers in our current project. We believe something of importance pertaining to Lordaeron or King Menethil lies hidden in the city of Stormwind. For obvious political reasons, we cannot step foot onto Alliance so, we bid help from the Conclave. -Garorn, Loremaster of the Loreseekers"
Telikan continued, "That is all the Tauren wrote."
Sprocketeer frowned slighlty, "A Mad Cow you say?"
Telikan nodded at Sprocketeer.
"I will pass this message on to Genevra, I'm sure she'll have something to say in response but I'm not exactly the loyal type nor the type to make decisions for the order. But I'll see that she gets the message."
The Courier from the AAMS added, "Garorn also sends his best wishes to the Alliance's wellfare as a man separated from Horde-Alliance conflict." before he bowed and departed.
Sprocketeer muttered, "Separate fromthe concflict... right. Bah, came all the way back to this stinkin town for that. Damned crazy cows and their ideas. She continued to ramble to herself gathering up her bolts and bars before pulling out a control for her coptor.
Despite the thoroughness of the letter conveyed by the AAMS Courier, the note that Sprocketeer sent to Genevra was surprisingly short.
"Genevra, some mad cow wants to talk to you about conspiracy theories. -- P.S.S. "
____
It took Genevra another week to track down Sprocketeer and find out exactly what the message had been. She considered the prospect and the rumors that had reached her about the War Council meeting, and still she was plagued by that Forsaken.
Genevra pushed the thoughts out of her mind as she sought out Arietha Whitesong of the AAMS, having never used the courier service in the past but knowing many of them to be trustworthy.
The first message was simple, she wanted a meeting with Garorn to discuss the prospect of the alliance, the second however was more complicated. She considered the message, "I am not who you think I am, that person is long dead, by another's hand." Perhaps it would keep the Vile Forsaken away from the city, and help keep everyone safe.
