Mark your calendars! On April 14th at 7PM (server time), Grim Fate is hosting a fabulous fashion show to kick off this spring with a bit of pizazz!

Come celebrate springtime with us and have a little fun as we goof around and dress up! Everyone is invited to watch, and anyone can enter! It will take place in Dalaran! If your character can't get to Dalaran, don't worry. We'll have mages hired to port you to the event!

The show will be judged by a panel of 5 members of Grim Fate and hosted by yours truly! We're all super excited to see what everyone comes up with! We have two categories with some amazing prizes totaling up to 20,000 gold!

Category One: General Best Dressed. Our judges will pick which outfits they like the best. (1st place wins 5k in cash, 2nd place wins 3k in cash, and 3rd place wins 1k in cash!)

Category Two: Booby Outfits! Your whackiest, craziest, ugliest, or funniest outfits! There will only be one winner in this category. (A disgusting prize is awarded to this winner!)

The rules for entering the contest are pretty simple: All outfits must be a valid transmog outfit on your character. This means you can't mix armor types. We will allow you to wear legendaries, though!

To enter, just show up about 15 minutes early!

((This event is not a standard RP event as many people probably won't be in character, but you're welcome to RP if you like!))

((Lad there is nothing glorious in this event, it's clearly a high class, Magnificent show for proper gentlemen.))

((By the way, is this Horde only event? Arnogh would love to gloat back home how he beat some elves in a beauty contest, I'm sure!))

((Actually, this raises a good point. There's probably a ton of folks ally-side who'd get a kick out of an event like this. It's still a brilliant idea either way, but opening it to Ally-side might produce more involvement, more contestants, and more hilarity. Just a thought. ^^;))

I would love to open this to the Alliance, but I'm not really sure how to involve them! Any suggestions would be great!

Just contact the good folks of the AAMS! They can make any event multi faction!

I appreciate the help! I will certainly contact them and get them involved. We definitely want to reach out to as many people as possible. We may move the event to a less faction-specific area to accommodate them, so check back to see if the venue changes!

I have a 50/50 chance of being available that day, and was already thinking about attending on my Horde alt. I'll ask around to see if any other AAMSers want to help out!

Our Hordeside GM is Akiae, with Yotingo as the back-up contact. Alliance is myself or Sumira.

Thanks guys! After talking with some other members of my guild, we've decided that we will probably move the show to the streets of Dalaran (right outside the Violet Citadel)! This will allow Alliance members to watch if they'd like!

However, we won't be allowing Alliance members to enter due to some issues we have with our prizes. It's just not possible this year. But, I hope to make this an annual event, so hopefully next year we can get the other faction in on the action!

Aw I know! I will try to have some way to reward Alliance members who show up next year. :) If it turns out to be a big hit, I may even schedule one for this fall!

We're also going to be giving out fun things like fireworks and booze to people who come to watch! Come have a ball at the fashion show!
