((I can 110% acknowledge, confirm and agree with what Gentyl has posted above on the subject of drugs. Again, Gentyl, my apologies for that mix-up, and for any inadvertent irritation that I caused! ^^;))

((At the risk of taking flak...wait, I'm probably going to take flak for this...*le me puts on his flak vest*...I also have to agree with Belpha's above statement.))

We'd appreciate it if you would do so via a private forum and not detract from a thread

((I've been called out in public about RP characters, concepts, plots, and stories before. It's not fun, AT ALL. For the individual on the receiving end, it stings, and for RPers who are attached to their characters, plots, groups, guilds, etc., yeah, it's not fun.))

((I'm not directing this at any specific individual, just saying it as a general rule of thumb, but I find voicing concerns about RP stuff is best done via whispers or in quiet, controlled settings. To fire accusations and spit fire back and forth, in a public forum and venue like this, is an invitation to disaster. I've been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, burned the t-shirt, ragequit, etc...I tells ya, I used to be quite the forum troll, back in the day! Anyway, it...just doesn't help.))

((Again, I don't mean any offense, or to put anyone down, but...this is something I feel strongly about. Public stabs at RP individuals or groups and RP forum flame wars resulting thereof...it's bad, it'd be like saying that "Homeland is a wretched hive of scum and villainy", on a public forum, it just ain't kosher, and it's not right or fair to the group being targeted. (Mind you, with some of the crazy plot twists, IC infighting, terrorizings, silliness, drunken disorderly conducts, and various other debaucheries we've been up to lately, for some of us Homelanders that accusation wouldn't be an awful stretch! *whistles innocently* ) ))

((CC's a small, friendly, cozy RP community - can't we all just get along?))

((Anyway, I've said my piece. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.))

Drakehide stretched, and glanced over the balcony at the glorious Dalaran sunrise. His beloved was still sleeping, in the room they'd rented out for the evening while they were here, traveling. Kol'than and Mogg had finally stopped harassing them, near sundown, and...everything was calm, now. Peaceful. It was a glorious new day, and Drakehide felt glorious.

...until a stray, floating piece of parchment, carried on the breeze, slapped the warrior cleanly in the face.

He snatched it up, and inspected it.

A WHAT party - ?

He breathed a sigh of relief, as he read the message. He was not the intended target for this "stag party". At least, he was fairly certain he wasn't. However...notices like this presented a major, major threat. The last thing he needed was Keedriel, Fearow, or Aminara getting their hands on notices like this - given current events in his life - and getting any funny ideas.

He checked that his obsidium bolt gun was loaded, and that he had a full complement of saronite grenades.

Drakehide was going hunting.

Every single one of these parchments in Horde or neutral territories needed to be destroyed, NOW, before they made their way to Ratchet...

((Pia's collective sense of humor livens up a lot of the role playing on this server. The way this Stag Party will play out will simply confirm (again) that the people of Pia Presidium do not take themselves too seriously. Anyone who thinks that most of the RP they do is somehow inappropriate for a holy order simply doesn't know Pia Presidium or Cenarion Circle at all.

Most of our guilds would be very boring if we didn't allow humor into them.

P.S. Imperon had better get an invitation to this party!

P.P.S. Post on your main, Fizzlebrain!

Edit: grammar correction))

((Seeing as one of the last stag parties I remember seeing Belpha at involved hijacking a Horde zeppelin and merrily murdering everyone on board, I don't think this one is terribly out of character.

Fizzlebrain, if you feel like being in a "Holy Guard" guild should mean that members aren't allowed to have fun, you and I have very different views on how limiting RP should be.

(This is like insinuating that every member of <Da Doctas> must be a healer, everyone in <Homeland> must be warm and welcoming, everyone in <Ishnu Por Ah> must be a Tauren, and everyone in <Lluchduu Ocheliad> must be Welsh.)

If I'm correct in my assumption that you were just trolling, you've certainly done your job.

That said:

Gen, I'm pretty sure you overreacted here. I'd consider editting your post, so as not to make Pia look bad.))

Meriste had been gathering food for days for the wedding. Every time there was an explosion, chirp, creak, pop or otherwise strange noise in the kitchen Meri and Mira raced to the kitchen to ensure the crates of food were safe.

The bachelors were having a blast planning their frogball game, while the ladies were much more quiet in their plans for the bachelorette party.

"I'm sorry- what stag party?"

The human held up the flyer. "The one your courier was putting out flyers for. I was hoping to send a message to this Gudvine Stonewhisper."

He handed over a flyer to Derscha, who certainly didn't recognize it as anything that had come by her desk. She hmmed to herself.

"...which courier?"

The human shook his head. "Didn't actually talk to him. Night elf, was putting up these flyers in Stormwind?"

"I see. I'll be happy to take your message, of course."

After the gentleman left, Derscha called one of the clerks to check if someone had filed a advertisement request with the AAMS. The was nothing in the records. Nor did any of the AAMS messengers admit to putting up the flyer.

She considered the situation. This "stag party" didn't seem like anything dangerous, nor had she received any complaints about this mysterious courier, but someone out there was impersonating the AAMS.

First, there was Galahn's missing shipment, which no courier could recall receiving. Now these flyers. They didn't seem like they'd be connected, but a lead was a lead. She'd have to pay Gudvine Stonewhisper a visit.

Hmm. Should she bring a gift?

It had been one of those days. Traveller was well-humored after receiving his cherry grog allowance. Now he was helping himself to the rest of the keg propped up next to Gentyl under the shade tree.

She reached over absently to dip out some more grog and hit the horse in the head. He snorted through the grog which came out as kind of a large, surprised bubble. "Gods, Traveller, at least let me get a drink."

The horse obligingly waited for her to fill her mug and then buried his muzzle in the keg again.

We need to make this party for Mira the best ever. Most of the bridal shower games she had looked up were totally stupid unless you were so drunk cucumber sandwiches were high entertainment. Meh, why not. Let's invite all the ladies.

She sent a note to Derscha to announce the time and date of the bachelorette party.

It may or may not been one of her better ideas.

((OH NOES, AETHEL! What have you done?!? *panics, and does the "curly shuffle"*))

((EDIT: PS, my apologies to everyone if my earlier rant bothered anybody. ><; I honestly meant no offense, I just...I don't like seeing confrontations. IC Drake might love a good scrap, but OOC Drake really doesn't like infighting or conflict. Was just trying to assist, and calm things down. I'll try to mind my own business a lot better in the future. ^^;))

((Well, blast. I'm not trying to end the thing, as you all seem to think; I'm trying to say that I dislike its happening, and would have taken this into consideration if I felt to try my hand at a future friend of the guild.
I didn't intend to offend, but if I did, that's unpleasant.))

Gentyl looked up in surprise at the gnome who hopped up on the table. "Umm, hello?"

He set up an elaborate sound system and then started slowly stripping. "I Heard you were looking for entertainment."

"Well, I already hired someone."

"Not like me."

She blinked as a rhinestone encrusted cuff flew past her head. "No, definitely not like you."

(( For those entitled,

Over the course of the past couple of days, there’s been plenty to be angry about, laugh about, regret, share, hide, and ultimately, argue bitterly about, to, from, and for, all sides in play with this aggrieving dance. Beehives have been kicked, buffalos pricked, people ticked, and rather rightfully so. Each and every one person, and their deeds, has been in aegis of what they believe (or, so I’d hope?). Not a single person should have to stoop below that.

More specifically, a more familiar and revered member of the Presidium has had words with me, though perhaps considerable harsh, though in the greater part of being correct. In subject of their own, somewhat inverted integrity: Points of legitimacy, harshness, insult. All valid arguments to some degree.

Not a one person has to believe a word said by anyone, but in truth, my aggressive means of statement were not with intent to insult. Though I knew, know, and shall ever so, that they have that potential, and did take reception to that effect. Some magic that is, as they consisted of my beliefs which are labeled many things (skewed, weird, crazy, stupid, gay?), as my stance of the hateful sober feminist; alien to the moral standards of most people, quite admittedly. Need I even mention that I can be quite barbing in instances of outspokenness? I thought not.

And with these in mind, I’d well like to issue an apology to any who took offense, in my barbaric manner of stating those (skewed, weird, crazy, stupid, gay?) opinions; and greater so, in the resident illegitimacy of the statements, as has been well proven to me by my Pia respectee. I have slandered, and trolled (as by discussed definition), and as pointed out by a friendly Homelander, derailed the thread. For these, I give the appropriate “sorry”.

Moreover, I don’t expect that a single person led by Gentyl, or associated, will even give the proverbial defecated unit of an apology. Some may well keep with her and Oskor’s proposition of the global desecration of the fourth wall, intermingle IC and OOC matters, and ban and ignore me. If you’re really wanting to do take that path, do it with pride. I wouldn’t put it past anyone who operates under such a flag as to proclaim such RP-bending. Say what you will, do what you will, publically, privately, as you do so desire.

I encourage you to, in the words of Devin Townsend, “STAND FOR WHAT YOU TRULY BELIEVE IN”. We all know I sure as hell have.
And know that I do based on such a personal code, and not, as I’m sure many assume, as some grudge-fueled spite trick (whether everyone can possibly relieve an upstanding steed of their weight for a moment to consider believing that or not).

So, that’s that. For what it’s worth, to who it’s worth, an apology. Glad to see that nobody’s being a will-less kneeler and hiding from my views by cancelling their events, as I feared they’d stooped to. Now if you all don’t mind, I’ve plenty of roleplaying to be off to, just as I’m sure the rest of you do; whether or not these two things coincide or not.

PS: Broodin, if you were whacked enough to ask Fizzlebrain for supplies, you’d get nothing of even similar being from the mad little bugger, as you could ask just about anyone who’s been around him =)

PPS: If there are grammatical or typing mistakes I managed to miss (I wouldn’t doubt), apologies.

PPPS: Imperon, my first, most shameless, and arguably most fun, public RP character is as well a main to me as any other character. *hugs the stupid goblin*

It hadn't been a very good day. The bill presented to Pia for care of Meshqa was staggering to say the least. No charge for the turtle shell, indeed.

She needed to go sell some ore or something just in case some extra money was needed for something. The lady's party had come off without a hitch, sort of. She wasn't even going to ask about the men's party.

Belpha had been preparing for this party for the last few days, his stock of hexed gnomes had reached a all-time high after that minor protest in Ironforge. Then of course there was that minor mishap with the frog and the ladies' party, but that wasn't important at the moment, what he needed now was to get ready for the disaster to come.

He scurries off making last minute preparations, who knows what he has in store and whatever it is has a very low chance for going the exact way he has envisioned it. He gathered up his bag of frogs, their annoyed croaking fills the room, but he carries on. He heads out into the graying dawn of the morning sky, time was of the essence, and he had to be ready for it all.

I wasn't there for he party, of course, but from indications everyone had fun. So, thanks for helping Mira and Kaellar along on their journey to wedded bliss. Thanks to everyone who planned it and everyone who attended. Hugs.
