Meriste thought this would be a good idea to wind down Children's Week and I agree. We're accepting donations of bags, mats to make armor and weapons, pets for low levels etc. On Friday at 6:30 we'll go out to starter areas and give away the donations.

Everyone is invited to join us and help the youngsters. If you know of some people who need help, please contact us also.

I have some netherweave bags that were returned to me after an earlier donation, by way of thanks. I'll make sure they're passed your way. I can likewise stop off up in Winterspring and pick up some cubs from the woman who's selling them, so our youngsters have something to cuddle with in between fetching things for people and learning from it.

Not sure what they learn. I just needed to know how to swing an axe.

But I'm sure they're learning something.

I may also suggest a profession bag. Even if it's "Only" Lich King sized, the amount of Value it has in making money is overwhelming.

Yeah, profession bags are invaluable early on. I definitely second this idea.

Elevenmoon, that would be great. We would certainly get them to youngsters who need them.

((Ended up kind of stuck RP-wise at a guild event today...which is also incidentally the reason we're not at the Abom event right now...not sure if we'll have anything out by the end of today, but we can try for tomorrow night. Worst-case scenario, if we're not able to do something this week I'll see if we can get a gang together for a welcome walk or similar event in the coming weeks. It's been awhile since we've run one of those. ^^;))

Thank you all so much for your support of this event. Thanks to your efforts and donations, we were able to reach out to several people tonight. It was a big success. Remembering the AAMS' Charity Drive during Children's Week last year and how much fun I had with it, I wanted to rekindle that flame. I love it when Cenarion Circle stands together as a community, and tonight was not a disappointment.

Drake, it would be wonderful to hear Homeland has their Welcome Walks running again. :) This is the kind of thing that shouldn't be confined to one week out of the year.

I picked a really great time to roll here, it seems. I'm putting my bag and assorted goodies to good use!
