Once again, after a long absence, the urchins of the cities hit the streets, with their stacks of newsprint and their exuberant cries:
"Extra, extra, read all about it! Mutant goblins! Orcs kidnapping dragon whelps! Forsaken turning people into slaves! Thrall approves! Read all about it!"
The first page of the newspaper begins thus:
"In the last two issues of the Vigilant Times, we have brought you reports about the Horde's activity in specific regions of Azeroth. However, we believe it is time to delve into another facet of the Horde's atrocities and crimes against humanoids, one that runs like a common thread through the fabric of their society wherever they impose it.
This thread, of course, is slavery...Unlike in the Alliance, where slavery has been all but abolished since the disastrous Internment between the Second and Third Wars, the slave
trade still flourishes among the races of the Horde, taking many ugly forms but always stripping its victims of their personhood."
((To read this and more fun, possibly biased, but certainly interesting articles, please visit the Vigilant Publications website at http://tinyurl.com/bvpmc36! We've paid up for our site now, so it's ad-free and much more aesthetically pleasing!
((Also, be sure to attend the Darnassian Forum tonight at 7pm server time to hear the Editor-in-Chief, Frisket Silverquill, and her talk on "Choosing Your Words Carefully"!))
