Hey all who have expressed interest! I am going to have an event every Sunday from 12 to 3. It will be open free for all for now, until we get a handle on how popular this can be. If anyone wants to set up a vendor booth or make some kind of bookie set up, I would not mind.

Will be held in the Gurubashi Arena in Stranglethorn Vale. I highly suggest you prepare yourselves as teams of fighter, manager and maybe a few helpers. Would make the rp a lot more fun. You can announce yourself as a challenger and offer to duel those who dare to accept your challenge. Might be fun to offer guild champions as challengers as well? Cross faction is welcome if we want to utilize AAMS to translate?

I am going to let it be as an open training and exercise event for now. If we get enough interest, we can do something with some kind of reward. Unless you want to put up a small bit of gold I can use as prize money or maybe some guilds would like to set up some kind of prize?

Suggestions welcome. Will be starting this the first Sunday in July which happens to be July 1st!

I have a champion, who will duel all challengers. I plan on bringing him to the Arena on the first of July. Anyone who is brave enough to challenge my champion may come and test their strength.

As for bookies, I have been asked in game about this, and I emphasize it is between players and I suggested they make it a pretend exchange. I often do this IC. {Sam offers the paladin a sack of gold for his efforts} but no wow gold is actually exchanged.

I do not want to encourage any illegal or against TOS. I merely suggested the rp aspect of having bookies. This is not a new concept. I have seen it in game plenty of times. Both with real gold and fake.

I would prefer that folks join in the fun as if they were attending a sports event and all the fun rp that could be had with cheering on your favorite. I think having a venue to hash out differences between guilds with a champion fighting duels would be fun. Kind of like boxing matches or wrestling.

It is a way for the personalities to be shown off and the rp possibilities are endless!
