I just want to start off this post with saying that Cenarion Circle has been my home server for over 5 years and I've seen a lot change over that time. My main was Rojan on Alliance side and I had just came back in preparation for Mists of Pandaria to come out. In the one month that I've came back to this server I've noticed something, that high-rated arena is absolutely dead on this server. When I used to play I could occasionally see a forum post with an aspiring individual wanting to get serious about arena and such, but now I can sift through 10 pages of CC forum posts and not find one. There used to be a serious strive to be the top rated team on server and it usually ended up being around 2400 to 2600 depending on the bracket, but now all I see is one inactive 2k rated team?

I guess what I'm trying to say here in my rant is that I want high rated arena to come back to this server. I understand that this server was never the top rated or anything close to Tich or KT, but come on. I am asking for some help in bringing back competitive / high-rated arena on CC. Let's try to get some ideas flowing in this thread and I'll edit in the ones posted. I don't want this server to die in the arena scene, but right now it isn't healthy at all and we need to try our best to fix that before MoP is released.

Edit: So far we've implemented an Alliance side channel (CCPvP) geared around trying to help out aspiring PvPer's or just a place for seasoned veterans to discuss topics of PvP. In the future we're hoping to see this channel being used for arena team recruiting and other things similar to that. I'd also just like to throw out a quick thanks to everyone that has been supporting this movement.

Firstly welcome back to Zl and the others that returned too, Fp and Ava. I personally think this is a rather important topic that needs to be dealt with, especially since this server use to be brimming with PvP life.

And this wasn't just a large group of elitist jerkface arena addicts, but it was just a general atmosphere of PvP that encompassed the entire realm, both Horde and Alliance. While most of the greats quit with Cata or before, that is still no reason why a new generation cannot learn to stomp face.

I've seen many people with the same potential that many of the best started with and it is a real shame to see so much talent neglected or ignored from whatever shallow mindset that put us in this predicament in the first place. I think it is long overdue for the few remaining PvPers to start encouraging the new blood to get into the Ring, give them the guidance that we once were given.

It is good to see some reviving competitive PvP. While I have lost my desire for arenas this particular season, do let me know if you ever need a flag-carrier for RBGs. My current rating is only 2019 at the moment, but I'm sure a regular team could remedy that.

Completely agree. The channel that Zl created has already proven to be a success in it's early stages. I hope this trend continues and can gain further momentum. Also, PACIFIKA STOP PLAYING DIABLO AND XFER ALLIANCE

Do it dude, I remember there were a few good players horde, (Aphromoo, Tardzar, and some others that I forget.) but they all Xferred Alliance or quit.

Yea, Tardzar came back not too long ago but he already left.

I'll pass this along to my guildies. Some of us were looking at PvP action along about now, actually, so this could be quite timely.

I used to moderate on his streams, I loved doing it because he would rage once per stream.

I do randoms quite a bit as I'm working towards Battlemaster at the moment (Missing like 6-8 achieves).
If I'm on feel free to whisper me and I'll tag along for some bgs.
Full cata as enhance, resto has a few ruthless offpieces still.
Now just to find an RBG group horde side >.<
