A Kor'Kron Elite guard watches with amusement.

"I knew there was something good that would happen about all this fire worship this week"

(Later, on the streets of Stormwind)

"Fire Festival Candles! Getcher commemorative Fire Festival Candles! Endorsed by the Maggot Lord himself!"

Fire Festival candles endorsed by the Maggot Lord? What?

((Hilarious. I can just see Abominus racing through the streets on fire.))

Tyr watches the Maggot Lord run past from her hidden post, snickering. She takes a piece of popcorn and pops it into her mouth.

"Bah, this tastes like <bleeping> crap."

She shrugs, then pulls up some strange device she bought from a goblin, something called a video camera, and starts filming. Tyrynna grins wickedly.

"And it's ALLLLLL going on YouTube!" the elf cackled.

Whatever the hell YouTube is.

Sees Abominous running through the streets and gasps in shock! Flinging her hands in the air and casting quickly she sends a flurry of snow down on the Maggot Lord and hopes it will put out the fire.

"I do hope you are all right sir?" watching for signs of his health...if Forsaken have any kind of health...necromantic maybe?

*reads a dispatch from her undercover informant, and looks at the accompanying photo*

"What on Azeroth does she expect me to do with this? Some fool Forsaken running on fire through the streets of--where the heck is this, anyway? The picture's so overexposed I can't make heads or tails...

"And what does this have to do with the war effort, anyway? Likely as not he set himself on fire; Forsaken are notoriously limp between the ears. And even if one of his 'comrades' is using him for a festive taper, so what? She want me to write something about humanoid burnt sacrifices by the Horde? What does she think I am, a tabloid writer?"

*crumples the letter and the photo, then tosses them into the nearby Midsummer brazier*

Krinda sighs at the sight of Abominus on fire and goes to put a boot to the goblin fire rescue team near the midsummer bonfire, they are clearly not doing their job.

---Somewhere in the Great Sea, between Theramore and Menethil Harbor---

Galeas had asked for the practice dummy that was bolted to the goblin's ship's deck, and was giving it quite the workout with his borrowed sword that afternoon. One thing to be said for Mezzik Seasplitter was that he kept a well-supplied ship; who would have expected a genuine, regulation training dummy on a freighter?

Suddenly, Sherelandia let out a high-pitched squeak--an unusual sound for her. Galeas turned to see if the ship's cat had scratched too hard or something, but instead saw that the dryad's eyes were wide with shock, and her ears were quivering. The cat lay on the deck before her, clearly vexed at the interruption of the belly-rub Sherelandia had been administering.

"What's the matter?" Galeas asked her.

"I felt a great disturbance," Sherelandia told him.

"A disturbance?"

"As if millions of maggots suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."

"Maggots." Galeas gave the dryad a dubious look. Her compassion for animals had never extended to insect larvae before, but then again, there was no telling what cause she would embrace from one minute to the next.

"I'm afraid something terrible has happened," Sherelandia said in a small voice, grabbing the cat and cuddling it close.

"Um...okay. Let me know if you get any more maggot vibes, all right?" Galeas turned back to the practice dummy, shaking his head. "I swear," he muttered, "sometimes I feel like some cosmic entity is using my life to tell a series of bad jokes."
