As things are winding down at the end of Cataclysm, it's time to turn our eyes to fun things for the sake of fun. ;) So I'm proposing Nostalgia Raid Nights. Once a week, we'll run a raid, starting with Molten Core and ending with Dragon Soul. For the short raids (things like Onyxia's Lair or Gruul's Lair) we'll likely do two in one night. I have no doubt we'll find interested parties, I just want to get a feel for what night of the week would work best for folks.

I encourage someone to put something together Horde-side too; we'd love to have you join us, but your Warchief spanked us when we asked, then sent us back to King Wrynn with gnomes stuffed in our mouths as a warning. The notes accompanying this atrocity amounted to "Orcs no play with humans. You no play first Warcraft? Nubs." :(

A moment of silence for the lost Naxx 40

Obsidian Sanctum & Ulduar
Trial of the Crusader

Dragon Soul

In Wrath raids and forward, we'll choose 10-man or 25-man depending on how many we have that night. If we have more than 10 but less than 25, we can likely split into two groups and run two 10-mans or two 25-mans, as the earlier raids don't require a full compliment of players if you're a raid-geared 85.

With Cataclysm raids, they should be easy at least up to Firelands, but experienced raid leaders who are comfortable talking in Vent might be useful to help those of us (like me) who haven't been in anything prior to Dragon Soul for Cata raids. There's a good chance we'll need full raids for the Cataclysm raids.

Hmmm, and I wonder if they also know ways to curb elves, orcs, & big blues too . . . .hmmm" (potters off making plans for world domination, the only way to make everything run smoothly)

((Great idea and fun! I'd love Thurs nights - & yes I'd bring my 85 DK instead of this cantankerous gnome. That is, unless the raid is looking for Gnome Bait - Grim is very suitable for that. just don't tell him I said so. Mon, Wed, or Sat nights might also work for me.))

(( Due to work'n'such, I can't commit to any set day but I'd love to be on standby/tentative? Only nights I can't do for sure are Saturday/Sunday, though depends when it starts... ))

I vote for Monday night. Actually any night but Thursday and Sunday are good for me. If you put it on calendar I will likely remember better.

9:30 p.m. ((server)) on de Thursday evenings mon. We go till I'nI falls down. Which ain't usually dat long. Got me 'things' ta be doin now. Ja Know wat I mean mon... /wink
