An Educational Inquiry (OOC)

Greetings Cenarion Circle.

I am a former CC'er from launch to the middle of 2010. I quit playing during Wrath and have recently gotten interested in the game again. I won't both you with historical details, but instead get down to the questions.

First of all. How you doin'?

Second, I have come to an understanding that Alterac University is no longer around (correct me if wrong). This pains me greatly as I loved that guild. Could someone point me in the direction of a Role Playing guild that would be interested in having a professor in the History of the Arcane Arts. Vernim grows oh so weary of selling U.S.E.L.E.S.S Pouches to people.
Thank you in advance. :)

We still have the Alterac University guild, but as of right now it's inactive until we can get it back up and running (maybe some time in MoP) as our schedules are very iffy. Sadly Lariana is gone, I'm not sure if you were there when I was Headmistress or if you joined during Lari's stint.

If you are looking into teaching at all, I would suggest Da Doctas hands down. You can talk to Sidonwy, Jean, or Oskor or ask in HordeOOC for a Jean/Oskor/Sid alt as usually one of the three are in there.

Also feel free to join HordeOOC and Hearthstone (which is an IC channel), if you haven't already. :-)

Well thank you kindly for such a speedy response.

As for being in AU I joined just before you left, and had the pleasure of playing with both you and Larianna.

As for the Da Doctas I will check them out. I have definitely heard of them, and encountered several of them, but only thought they employed healers. Nevertheless I will look into them.

Thanks again, Armaya. :)

While Da Doctas seems like a nice fit for you, I'd also give Homeland a look, if you don't mind an everything guild... full of psychopathic Blood Elves...

Actually, yeah, join Doctas.

Da Doctas hasn't been healer-only in a very long time, and is always looking to add more teachers, guards, researchers and other support staff!

Yeah, Da Doctas has been looking to branch out a bit lately, so that could work well :)

First I hope you do return. Second, I, well, second the motion regarding Da Doctas. It's one of CC's premier rp guilds with a rich history and great people. I've always held them in highest regard. I think anyone would enjoy their company and they do, indeed, have more than healers. Homeland is great also, of course. I had an alt in there, Very nice people.

Well thanks so much everyone. I appreciate the helpful responses.

At this point the logical thing to do would be apply for Da Doctas, so I believe that I will do just that.
