message to the wardens

He paced within the compound of his headquarters in Gilneas his stronghold for his operations. His mind was not in a good state at this given time, he sighed as he kicked some rocks off to the other side of the room. In his mind the words echoed upon his head ‘’ They’ll be watching him at all times ‘’ He had not only one Warden watching him this he knew, he knew the others and he had to act fast. He wondered and not for the first times what was the point in aiding the alliance or anyone for the manner and treated like a vermin and like he is the criminal.

He looked upon his alchemy set that he has laid out upon the table the poisons he thought of using mostly upon the horde and perhaps in hopes to make the others believe that the forsaken betrayed them and destroy them from the inside. However, things have changed his mind was set he wanted to send a message to the wardens that they should not always be watching him his cloak fluttered behind him. As he walked while he considers his next move, he spoken to one person from the watch about the Wardens within Stormwind hoping to cause some stir and exile them from the city, but his plan did not work apparently.

So his mind thought of possibilities he sent out a call upon his allies within the shadows offering an award of half million gold to take care of the problems for him, ensuring they go within the right ears and making sure the job gets done. He gazed upon the potions he has made and his associates as the green ooze boiled a grin spreads across his face as he considers the potions. ‘’ So they want me to be the bad guy ‘’ he mutters to himself as he leaned heavily upon the table ‘’ so shall it be, I will make them regret there betrayal. ‘’ his eyes glanced around to ensure he was alone. Gathering up some tubes, he begins to fill them up with the liquids carefully and he hoped the person he contacted would show up to deliver his message.

Talanus sat up on a mountain over watching Gilneas, the last spot he had seen Keyesh disappear. He sat next to Luna, softly stoking her neck and back, preparing to move quickly if necessary. He had known Keyesh for a long time, and never had his eyes shown hatred since the night at at the Recluse with the Stormwind Watch Guard.

Since then he returned to the High priestess of Teldrassil, summarizing the events to her. She then ordered him to keep a watchfull eye on him, and if he tried anything that would bring bring death or corruption to another Kal'dorei he was to bring him down. This was nothing new. Being a Warden he had often been made a judge, juror, and executioner, but never to an own ffriend.

But there he was now, sitting atop a cold murky mountain, watching all around him. He sent his owl into the city to locate Keyesh, hoping to find evidence of his where abouts. He even asked an old friend for his help, his brother, Celendrin Shadowstalker, to go amongst the shadows and watch for any signs of Keyesh communicating with any other mercenaries, assassins, or spies. He hated his brother, but now he needed his help more then ever, for a dear friend.

"Please Keyesh, do not do anything stupid." He sat there, began praying to Malorne and Elune. "Malorne guide him unto the right path, away from the withering corruption. Elune protect what is left of his purity, do not let him feast into the shadows as I have seen others do." With that Tal' got up, signing to his companion to follow him," Come Luna, we must stop a dear friend from making a grave mistake."

Rachel was more excited than she had been in a long time. She was finally finished with her Teleporter Calibration unit. She sat in the Blue Recluse quietly, scribbling at her page of calculations and keeping a conversation going with two strangers at the same time.

It was then when Keyesh approached Rachel with an especially exciting mission to play hide and seek with a warden. Rachel was overjoyed that she would get a mission that would take her outside of her lab in Gilneas. She patently waited for the note that held the name of the others who she would be playing with.

Keyesh opened his pouch and handed her the list, it was bare except for one name, "Talanus Skyfeather". Rachel leaped for joy at seeing this, she was happy that she would get to have fun with this one. She was used to playing hide and seek with more than five individials, so she was excited to have just one playmate. This allowed her to take her time and really get into the game. She put her game face on and disappeared after she read the bottom of the page "You're it! Go get them, ready or not."

((haha Rachel, its Talanus Skyfeather, and yes Kyalin, this has been pretty fun so far!))

There he sat, bandaged around his thigh and chest. He had gotten cocky and slipped. But he wouldn't again, next time he would find out who hired the assassin to kill him, and only then would his theory be answered. Was Keyesh truly mad now, would he go as far as to set up a contract on Talanus. Only time would tell

Talanus started talking to others, those in the shadow and those in the light, both sides would be on his side, both sides would help him stop a friend from going any further. He would have constant surveillance on Keyesh, he would learn all his secrets, his whole past, whatever it took to stop him.

Rachel picked up the supplies that Keyesh had requested and was disappointed. She wanted to play with him more personally and poisoning his food and setting up gas traps were not what she had in mind when she had started off. She found Keyesh and begged him to let her have some fun, she explained how she operated and could make him suffer just the same. Keyesh agreed after some time and allowed her the permission to play the game her way.

Rachel activated her teleportation device and began to mix some items she had lying around in the lab. She was dying to try out her idea that stemmed from her watching Gentyl paint the fingernails of other people and add various things to it. She mixed a horribly super-concentrated motor-neurotoxin into the paint and applied it to her nails. Now all that was left to do was locate her playmate, the Warden.

((I fixed the name.))

Kyalin was silent, standing her post next to a sealed portcullis beneath the Cenarion Enclave. Her eyes fixed on the Darnassian banker she had grown so dependent upon.

"Did you get them to give you the reports?"

"Yes" Verronia replied, "...and I've already found a few problems just by comparing them against our records here. The company reports that they've been paying for a certainly increased volume, but we haven't been asked to send letters of credit to cover the amounts, and nor have we received drafts to forward those amounts. Deposits for their purchasers to cover those purchases have not changed from the previous year, and of course, the dockmasters cannot account either for transfer of gold or of the alleged purchases."

"So it's a shell." Kyalin concluded.

Verronia nodded again. "More than possible. The same individual, a human, handles all of the overseas purchasing, but I don't think that he's the only one involved. Teronis says that he isn't letting his purchasers approve purchases or record them, so the human is in league with someone."

Kyalin ruffled her cloak, trying not to catch her fingers on the large vertical tear that she never bothered to mend. "I suppose I'll have to at least pay the human a visit. He's still here in the city, isn't he?"

"The dockmaster hasn't told me any different."

Kyalin nodded. "Good... oh... one thing before you leave. I saw your friend, the contrarian, in town the other day."

Snapping her book closed, Verronia gave the warden a blank stare. "The contrarian?"

"Something of a chemist, some mechanical body parts, disagrees with anything she views as 'moral'... anyway... she was in the city yesterday saying something about 'playing hide and seek' with someone... with darts or some other such nonsense, and I'd like to you keep an eye on anything that goes through the bank that involves her."

The mage still looked puzzled. "I don't get it, I mean, I remember who you were talking about but, I can't monitor everything at the same time. Why her?"

"Because she seems serious about something this time."

Celendrin sat in the Blue Recluse, the finest Inn's in Stormwind City, a city he hated so much, a city he'd love to see in chaos. It was then he had remember what Talanus had asked of him

"Watch a man named Keyesh, what he does, who he talks to, where he goes, I want to know everything, even when he wipes his own @ss!"

He had never seen Tal' that upset, of course there was that one time he had played a prank on Tal' and poisoned him with his favorite concoction, a hiccup poison. But that was in the past, he was surprised Tal' was even talking to him now without trying to bring him to Teldrassil for questioning, though Tal' could never catch him, he smirked at all the attempts. But it was then that the fun started

As he sat across from his Ocheliad family, he saw him walk in, Keyesh. Now Cel' is a bit nutty, so you could imagine he got a bit happy at this. He started taking out poisons and blades and laying them on the table, until he noticed a Stormwind city Watch guard watching him. He threw him a quick smirk and laid the tools on his lap. As he did so he listened to whoever Keyesh was talking to. A women. A women with an accent of a Worgen. by the staff she was carrying she was either a mage, warlock, druid, or a staff lover. He took a quick look at her fingers noticing no arcane marks. a mage was out, he then looked for signs of corruption or a little demon dude, oh how this were fun to toy with he thought. but no sign of that either, so she must be a druid, only time will tell.

As he sat there he listend to them talk about there plans, about he she so badly wanted to play a game, and that's when he remembered the women! Rachel Frost! The same women who had wanted to play a game with Cel', but began calling him a cheater even when they hadn't start playing! Oh well, Cel' was a cheater, renowned for bending the rules a bit.

"Oh we'll play your little hide and seek now mutt", he muttered to himself.

With that he dispersed into the shadow. watching them, listening to their plan for Tal, now to only come up with a plan to stop her. He remembered Tal' said Keyesh had his main base at Gilneas, a base with sentries, cameras and traps. But those where nothing compared to the places Cel had broken into before for either assassination contracts or just wanting to have 'Fun'.

"Let the game begin"

He paced about, remembering the discussions he, and Echo has had, and for the first time he considered what she said about him talking so openly upon a public place. He wanted this to be a covert opt mission. He let out a sigh after there departure, he teleported himself directly within his compound ensuring that no one would trace him back here.

Keyesh was not corrupted, and he was not evil in nature but with recent events with the wardens threatening him by ‘’’Watching him’’ and this included the death knights which they were welcome back with open arms by both horde and alliance.

He knew some would question weather or not this mission was a personal matter, since recent events remembering the discussion by another warden. He thought of Kyalin then; he liked her, as much as he disliked admitting it, he respected her. Yet at the same time he hated her opinion most of all about his kin the Highborne, and as well the death knights which who he has great respect for. With these wardens speaking against his kin it set him on the edge, it was as if no matter what he done or tried to do it was never good enough for them.

He decided to pay a visit into darnassuis however; he left his potions within the compound, before he set off outside the Caverns and into the freshly cool air. He pulls out a wand as he swings it slightly through his fingers. Turning around to face the entrance, he flipped open a black book, which contained spells of various kinds. It was not a normal book of reading it had the old elfish language from long ago, and contained older and darker magic. Then he begin his spell casting

With a wave of his wand magic flowed through his body as if he was one with it, he felt relaxed and at peace upon each spell casting, something in his demeanor changing, he casts his usual protective wards around the compound and resetting most the traps as well..

Then he turns around in mid casts creating a small rift in the air, as a portal seems to form before him, which would take him directly into the temple in darnassuis. He glanced around and he sensed someone watching him from afar, he gazed in the direction and the better part of him understood who is watching him. But he wasn’t sure however he sensed he knew who it was, before he left he offered a wink in his general direction letting him know that he knew. For all he knew he could be winking at no one then he stepped into the portal and found himself travelling trough the extra dimensional portal and within a span of five minutes he found himself in the presents of the temple, and he walked out of it as if nothing in the world was wrong.

(Enjoy hope you like it )

There Cel' was, in time to see the light show of magic given from Keyesh, but before he could be seen he sunk into stealth and stood next to keyesh reading the book he laid in his hands.

"Yes clever of you to put wards on this fel hole", Cel' thought to himself." Better get on the other side quickly then."

he used his shadow step to further himself into the compound, nect to a table of potions and other alchemist supplies, but when he looked back it seemed keyesh was almost done, and Cel' would be trapped in, he decided to cast his distraction past keyesh into a dim lit darkness that shrouded the place in mystery. Of course it had worked, Keyesh looked upon where the distraction was lain.

"Yes, yes, feast upon your imagination Keyesh, I am truly grateful you are as much of a fool then Talanus is," He thought to himself.

With that he watched Keyesh escape into a rift, a portal taking him who knows where. But he didn't need to know, for Cel' knew he wasn't the only one watching Keyesh. He quickly turned to the table, keeping himself a shadow amongst the darkness as to not get caught in a trap or possible sentry. He reached down to the potions that were lain about, examining it closely. It was a purple in color but a red in shade. Cel' had never seen such a potion before. He quickly poured it into one of his own vials, then casting it in his bag. He reached for another side bag and brought out a spider.

"Heya Martha, as you can see, I get on, but I might need you to help me get out, the smart little bastard covered this places with protections and wards. So do me a favor?" Any one who knew Cel' knew he was insane. He loved playing with spiders and snakes, having them all infest him with their poison so he could build a natural immunity to them all. But Martha was his favorite, she always got him out of tight situations.

He quickly set her down and followed her as she rushed around the room, finally stopping at what appeared to be a small sewer drain, small enough for a rat to fit through.

"Really now? Do I seem like a cockroach to you? wait never mind, don't answer that! I'll make it work..."

He reached in his pocket and pulled out a variant of colored vials.

"Cat, Dog, wolf, ah here we go, spider!" With that he quickly drank the vial and began to shrink, legs grew into more legs, eyes became more eyes." I know I'm a studly spider Martha, but don't even try to make a move on me," He winked.

They moved through the drain, over water, and through muck, to finally get out the other side, the forest right outside Gilneas. He relaxed there for a moment untill the potion had worn off and he had become his normal, insane self.

"well, let's go see what the heck this purple little doo dad does!"

Ehco knew the scope of Keyesh's mission and had to plan for the worst. She kept her spies around him and had them ready to spring on her command. She agreed with Keyesh about the Wardens and knew that action should be taken, but was she growing soft? They hadn't actually brought her harm nor have they done anymore than watch her closely when she was near.

Ehco dismissed this because she knew she was under constant surveillance. She could not rationalize her treatment by the Wardens any longer. She sharpened her swords and hardened her mind so as to slay the next Warden that crossed her path. She was as cold as stone and the ones who were responsible for keeping the peace and balance were to blame.

Ehco entered the mine compound with a bad feeling in her gut.

((EDIT: Rachel Frost aka Ghostkitty is not a druid. She is a shape shifter who can emulate magics with her mechanical additions. So, she should not set off any bells that would make her seem like a druid to anyone.))

There Cel' was, sitting in a room filled with potions, poisons and daggers. His snakes and spiders were all out of their cage roaming around the room as well. He always had to keep a watch full eye and make sure he didn't step on one. He made his way to his desk, he sat down the strange vial he had 'borrowed' from Keyesh's. He swirled the vial in his hand, watching as the strange red mist about it swirled. He turned to face his room, where at the same time all the spiders and snakes looked at him

"Ok, who wants to try it first!" They all turned around and went back to doing whatever it was they were doing. " Aw c'mon guys, it will be fun! It'll be like that time we tested that liquid explosive on Stormwind's castle! though the guards didn't like it so much...." They continued doing their nothing. "Ah buzz kills.... Well it Looks like we'll need to find a victim... Might as well try the Recluse, I have a certain person in mind."

With that he grabbed his gear and dawned on his Lluchduu Ocheliad uniform. "Keep the place safe while I'm gone Teeth," He said to his Core Hound Pup.

Keyesh knew what his target would be now after close observation upon Talanus, He smiled at the ironies in this situation for as he watched him closely, in turn Keyesh was watching Talanus closely. He gazed around the Temple of Elune for the moment so tranquil it has been for many, many years now. He wore his dark red robes, his long red cape wrapped around his body as his cowl pulled over his face covering his features and half his eyes, showing only bits of white hair which flowed own his shoulders.

No one stopped him as he appeared there by magic, so use were they of him appearing there and vanishing there at will or at random. The sentinels hardly paid him any attention, however there were glares of hatred upon him still and mostly the elders who gazed upon him with such hate, he kept his dagger close a crystal like dagger that glowed upon his touched, filled with magic as well. His demeanor seem to have changed upon him and his whole outlook on his life In his pouch he kept vials that he uses for his alchemy

Turning around he glanced at the moon wells as he considered his options, he knew he would need the waters from it, but how he can get into the water to fill it in is vial. He was sure the warden would know he has arrived by now and would be keeping an eye on him, a grin spreads across his face as he considers what he should do he moves swiftly towards the shadows ducking away as he past the sentries who seemed not to notice what’s going on

As the guards past him without notice, he takes out the contents of the potions and mixes it in his cup; with a deep breath, he took a sip of the potion. He begins to feel the transformation as he drops the glass upon the ground. He transformed into a female priestess as he observed himself through the waters reflections. He removes the cowl of his hood, and again the illusion giving off clearly as a female she had long blue color hair and change of completion a lighter color. She wore the traditional robes of a novice priestess with some spell work he gave off the illusion. As he turned, everyone gave her a look but not out of hatred but more of respect, some offered to help her and escort her to where she needed to be, and some wanted her blessings. She kept walking however ignoring them completely

she smiled the most innocent smile she possibly manages as they stepped aside, there seem to have been a stir upon the soldiers and the sentries, she turned however to the area in the bank she gazed around her blue orbs darting this way and that as if she studied it. She past by the others without a word of greetings as if she was on some important mission…

Tal' was more then angry, he was furious. But he kept that fury inside, knowing that it will only do it worse then it would good. Keyesh had threatened him more then once now, and the other Warden seemed to have not such a great concern about him, but Tal' knew he was hiding something. Especially if he was in Darnassus, a place he was once exiled, a place where he was spat upon.

So he did what he could, he followed Keyesh. But where he led him would only bring upon more questions. There he was, Keyesh, pouring a vile into the moonwell, it's contents twisting into the moonwell, making it's color a baby blue. Keyesh proceeded to gather some, an amazingly the moonwell returned to it's former state, as if it had not been tampered with.

As he watched Keyesh turn around Tal presumed to follow him, where he whent to a group of people. He couldn't wait, he needed to find out what it was. He rushed up to Keyesh with Luna, questioning him. But of course Keyesh would play dumb, it wouldn't be the first time he did.

"That's fine," He thought, "I'll have others figure it out for me."

Cradling a bottle of her most expensive feralas rice wine, Kyalin just shook her head, looking over a blank piece of paper and the bottle of ink that sat next to it.

She'd known people like him. It took every fiber of her willpower to not be a person like him, but nevertheless she couldn't just stand there. She knew full well how easy it could be for any warden, herself especially included to make accusations and act upon them with no assurances, but ever since this Alliance, ever since these death knights, ever since these highborne were allowed back. Ever since the news found her ears about what Maiev had recently done, it was somehow different, like trying to find one's footing during an earthquake. Outlanders... the public... if only things were as simple as they were just a few years ago.

A man like Keyesh could not simply disappear off of the streets like he may have in the old days. Politics, recent events, the man's connections, and the High Priestess's directive all stood in the way of that. The truth would come out, and the watchers didn't need another black eye, not now especially.

Did the other warden know that? He had to have known that. He had to have a reason. People don't just make this up, and especially not a warden. There are hundreds of highborne, but none of them were being accused of such crimes, only this one. Keyesh being that one, however, was not only a difficult problem given the night's very public happenings, but unbelievable. But just who was she going to believe?

Dear Warden Skyfeather,

You and I must talk soon.

Talanus sat next to his beloved companion Luna. He held back the teas of almost losing her. If anyone knew of there paast together they would understand, Tal' owed his life to her, and it was his duty to protect her.But he didn't let e tear drop, Crying was for the weak, and if there was something Talanus never wanted to be, it was weak. Keyesh had played a dirty trick, and Tal' knew it was him. Nobody else was there, except for that Rachel Frost woman. Maybe she did it, he thought. One of them is responsible, but either way, he knew Keyesh was up to something, and he was going to stop him, but this time nobody would get hurt. Nobody would kidnap Luna again and drug her, nobody would harm another for the sake of something so simple.

Tal' sat there, for a long time, in the woods. He never had a home. Any where that nature was abundunt was more then comfortable to him, and Luna thought that too. But not even nature could help him right now. He thought back to telling Celendrin to go back into Keyesh's compound. He didn't like putting others at risk, especially if it was for himself, But there was no better thief then Celendrin himself.

Also he had Kyalin on his mind. He recieved a not from his mailbox from her to meet up. Yes they would have too. He needed to convince some one that Keyesh was up to no good, but at the same time, that Keyesh is not a bad person. But how could that be? maybe Keyesh was just lost, confused, angry. No matter what it was, Talanus would recruit all of those that still held Keyesh dear to heart, and convince them that Keyesh is not the same, that they need the old Keyesh. The Keyesh that was as once wise as himself. But now he is a fool. And a fool was to be cautioned.

"Luna my darling, we must go meet the other Warden, it is time we take action."
