Travel Advisory for Darnassian Citizens

The following is a travel advisory issued on behalf of Warden Kyalin Raintree:

Foreign elements, within the Alliance yet hostile to our people, have been targeting our citizens abroad via a most unusual tactic. Malefactors and belligerents, knowing the laws of their local area, will often antagonize Kaldorei visitors at length, hoping to provoke them into reacting, and thereby forcing local authorities: guards, soldiers, and bruisers, to kill, maim, or imprison the reacting party, while at the same time stewing suspicion of all Kaldorei who may visit their lands.

In wake of these recent attacks, and of others, I urge all Kaldorei to avoid traveling to foreign, and distant lands, especially within the Alliance. We cannot protect you there, and the modern criminal in these locales often knows how to work around, or indeed in this case, use the written laws to work to their benefit. If you must travel though, and find yourself a victim of such an attack, do not hesitate in informing the local guard with a detailed description of the perpetrator. It goes without saying as well not to react with physical violence, as such action plays right into their hands.

May Elune protect you, and indeed all of us in these troubled times,
-Warden Kyalin Raintree.

((... and Kyalin doesn't like human conventions for evidence... you foreigners and your 'process'!

I'd like to put this out OOCly though, because Kyalin's opinions ICly are about to take a turn for the worse in this regard: The Feathers of Iron Tavern is hosted every Tuesday night in Booty Bay, and is a fantastic place to go to find fun random tavern RP, and perhaps even to get a storyline like this one going or to keep one going. I encourage everyone to attend when possible. (On that note, I do apologize for not being able to attend future events there... Grad school and all...) ))

Crunching an apple, Liabelle eyed the board in Stormwind, muttering headlines to herself while loitering.

"Looking for volunteers for the latest in gnomish..."
Pass...
"Do you have what it takes to join the preemptive cheesery..."
Already a member...
"This petition is to revoke the unprovoked ban against Frogball..."
.... moving right along...
"Foreign elements, within the Alliance yet hostile to our people, have been targeting our citizens abroad via a most unusual tactic. Malefactors and belligerents,
blah blah blah...
"This method has been used in attempts to eliminate Kaldorei visitors, and has been recorded in such popular locales as the Blue Recluse."
Hah, serves them right...
" The most recent report I've received involved an employee of the Feathers of Iron tavern in Booty Bay, although the management attempted to stop the actions of this rogue employee. We here in Darnassus hope that the management will react appropriately with the subsequent dismissal of this belligerent."

...Oh. We can't have that. Not at all.

Dolingen scratched at her throat scars and wished she could conjure a nice cup of tea to soothe the tightness and pain that sometimes afflicted her vocals. She had work to do but it could wait until the soothing honeymint flavors were healing her wounds with speed. Patting her saber on the head, she rode through the elven city towards the mail to the bank to see if she had any stashed in her box when she noticed the call board. Maybe there would be some discounts posted.

Reading through she found a flyer with pull tabs at the bottom from Bloodthistle Tea Company announcing their latest supply shop in the town. The whole flyer went into her pocket as she snickered. Dolingen had been called many things, but extravagant was not one of them. Thrifty though, yes.

Her eye caught on another flyer.
...employee of the Feathers of Iron tavern in Booty Bay...react...subsequent dismissal...
Oh, she was slipping. How did she miss out on these events and not know about them? How can you be a good information broker when you don't know? The cogs in her head spun quickly as she mentally prepared herself to leave for the tavern. But first there was this matter about the tea.

This all ironically begin with the memories being erased off of Ehco a death knight in which Keyesh was dating, but things were not always looking up for him he was simply not happy and she was always gone. Upon his moment of need there was another person involved in his life and a person he has grown fond of and even fallen for and upon this personal involvement in this situation, he was confused and lost and perhaps scared of the results upon his actions, knowing perhaps no matter what he did there will be a consequence upon his choices and that he would have to answer for. There was no more point in running away from this. He paced back and forth upon his home pining over this mess since it begin, the wardens expressed her hatred for death knights or dislike for them rather.
He gazed upon a orb that seem to glow slightly as he considered his options, he spoke with a fortune teller upon this situation he knew deep down the right thing to do.. He also knew the answer to the other question of why he decided to move on. He wanted to leave these lands to be gone from them and never returned he has no place here? Why do they continue to make him stay and why assume that what he needs is to be with his own race? Many questions and many answers came upon him in a sudden rush.
After weeks of being gone he decided to go against the warning of visiting Booty Bay and he decided to speak to Jalou granted he apologized to her upon his actions and she seem to have accepted it, he explained that if he wanted her dead he’d do it himself and not involve assassins for in his opinion to send assassins to do their dirty work is a cowardly act in itself. He was not foolish and he was not a coward by all means he calculates his moves according to plan, he now understood that he is no longer a good guy upon the eyes of the many. Was it that he was evil no...? Perhaps misunderstood upon his intentions possibly? He understood after the meeting he is indeed considered a lone wolf upon this and alone he would face this and in hopes to fight this, this was something he knew deep down must end soon before something goes wrong.
He had to speak with Kyalin to lift the adversary and he knew the feathers well enough to know that they wouldn’t dare oppose to kill him and they’d do it bravely face to face if they wanted to, technically after speaking with Jalou they had not thrown away the files that had his signatures upon it he was still with them, but he remained upon the outside for them. The ironic part of the situation is he knew the leader is also a kal’dorei but to eliminate her own race. He thought the whole thing was absurd. He knew he could not talk the warden out of removing the adversary and there was no point in trying to he did however offer gold to Jalou in which she now has to give to Cup to pay for the repair upon the walls.

((I explained it in his own point of view pretty much of the whole situation and how he feels about it after he found out from Jalou about all this he spoken to her last night actually, also feel free to add on to this, more a summery of what happened I hope I am accurate though if not I apologize)

Kixek knelt before the moonwell of Lor’Danel, her head bowed, eyes closed, hands folded. Prayer would be good.

Genevra’s Sermon was a good thing. It had been days since Kixek had even left the house, as it was safer inside. It wasn’t until she actually spent all day and night inside that she had really noticed how much the outside world was a part of her life. She had too much time on her hands, hidden away within the house. Her Darnassian was improving, her extra hours to study to thank. The interior of the house was spotless, as she had run out of things to clean (excluding laundry, but she wouldn’t go outside to tend to it). There were even too many cookies, created just to occupy time.

Should she bring some of those cookies when she went to Darnassus? Perhaps bake a cake? No, she’d be advised against too great an attempt at appeasement. This prayer would help more than baked goods. Devotion had helped many times before, and the priestess was certain that it could now. It would only hope if she knew exactly what was wrong.

It was refreshing to have left home. She had not met any troubles in her time outside, but that did not mean that she would be left in peace forever. Again, it would help to know just why she wouldn’t be left in peace. Lady Raintree was a nice woman, though it seemed that she might not always get along with the Lady Liabelle, or even Lady Mariiku. What could the problem be?

“Amen.” The priestess mumbled, and lifted her bag from the ground. Within sight: home. A quick glance around preceded her walk toward the house.

The time outside was nice, but she had to prepare for the upcoming tea party.

A hand pressed against her forehead, Kyalin had already slumped in that uncomfortable chair that Verronia insisted on keeping around as the accountant went over her weekly report. It was mostly the usual set of issues: fabricated letters of credit, comments about suspicious activity at the bank, and the results of an audit that the warden had commissioned on suspicion that a Dwarven company, operating in the area, had been using the hides of a rare breed of nightsaber. Ordinarily, Kyalin would have found this information pertinent and fascinating. Today, she was about to fall asleep.

"... which was a perfect copy of our standard letter format, aside from the weight of the document itself. These losses have already gone into the five-figure range, and it's likely that the perpetrator has fled to Stormwind, which is why I think you should mention it the next time you're there." Verronia concluded.

Kyalin nodded. "What about this issue with the tavern?"

"I haven't received anything from them yet, why?"

"Just keep me appraised..."

Verronia nodded slowly. "I can... if you'd be willing to share why you've issued a travel advisory to pressure Keyesh and Jalou to take your side on this Death Knight situation."

Kyalin shook her head. "It isn't that."

"Isn't it?" Verronia demanded, raising her voice. "You mean to tell me that you weren't aching to go after her for something? Remove her from the picture?"

"By your own report..."

"I know what my report said! Had I known that it was going to be used like this I would have never written it!"

"Verronia... if you are going to ask me a question, you have to let me answer it..."

She quieted herself, nodding.

"We were initially working with each other to figure out what best to do when, according to what you told me, Jalou tried to get Keyesh to attack her. It was right there in the report: she instigated his attack, insulted you, presumably trying to get you to do the same, laughed when she was attacked, as though she was expecting it, and, again, these are your words and not mine, her eyes immediately fell on a local bruiser. It's a proxy attack. You know it and and I know it, and the incident at feathers is by no means the only time this has been tried against Night Elf visitors in foreign lands."

"Then why is it the only one mentioned in the advisory?"

"Because it's the only one where I have someone to hold accountable." Kyalin quickly replied. "Everything else has been on the part of individuals. Such as Rachel Frost, and that person who threw the mug at me."

Verronia blinked. "Someone threw a mug at you?"

Pointing to a scratch across her facemask, Kyalin nodded and continued. "The laws in Stormwind are such that if I tried to respond, I would have been arrested, just like they wanted. It's a common tactic, and it's being used all over the place against our people specifically. They need to know about it."

"Don't you think that you're alienating our allies by doing this?"

"They're only in the barrens so that when the Horde eventually falls, they'll have a convenient highway with which to threaten us if we ever get out of line. It's the only real reason for it. We have all of the supplies we need and if they really wanted to put battalions in Ashenvale, they could have landed at Zoram'gar months ago. Other than that, they're too happy to let us die against an enemy that conveniently happens to hate them too, dead kaldorei are just numbers to them, and some of them silently cheer when they see them, and that's why to this day you won't find a single human soldier in Ashenvale. Alienation therefore isn't really an issue."

Mortified by what she had just heard, Verronia just stared at her. "Kyalin... maybe you should take a few days for yourself? I mean, you just got back from Ashenvale and... you don't seem like yourself."

Kyalin broke a rare smile, shaking her head. "I think there's a human mannerism for that... something about cookware."

A tea party, in Lor’Danel? The town nearest Teldrassil? There could hardly be a more obvious trap. Jalou has used “tea party” as a guise the last time she herself had kidnapped somebody, so she wasn’t going to be taken by surprise. She refused the cookies and tea, claiming to feel sick and nauseous (and then had to decline the healing, insisting that her illness was a passing thing). She wouldn’t be poisoned.

Why had she come into this trap at all, though? If it was a trap, she would have exposed traitors of the Feathers, minions of the treacherous Warden; Or so she’d tell herself. In truth, though, she knew that she really hoped that the girl hadn’t fallen into the Warden’s lies.

“Um, okay, I think…” stuttered the gnome, looking worried. To sate herself, she pulled a cookie from the jar. She sat opposite Jalou, setting the jar between them, and her own cookie upon a napkin. “So, um… Miss Jalou, we read, uh, a thing…”

“Oh, the thing? The Warden’s thing? I read that too. What did you think?” returned Jalou, her words only offsetting the gnome’s mood further, it was obvious.

“Uhh… I, thought that, I did not, know, what to think, uh. And, I, was confused…” squeaked Kix, who then took up her cookie, and had a bite from it.

“You worried that what you read as all true, and that the Feathers are a genocidal organization seeking to end all Kal’Dorei life, and eat kittens, and set fire to orphanages. You brought me here to ask which of those are true, because you heard that it’s my fault.” retuned Jalou, casually leaning back against the wall.

The gnome girl looked confused, as well as horrified. “Uh… I did not, um, read, anything about cats, or orphans…”

Jalou waved her hand in the air. “No, no, it’s only an example of what I’d expect to be reading about us, taken from the absurdity of the actual article. Let’s cut to the chase, and hear the story, as it happened?”

Kix merely nodded.

“Splendid. Well, it all goes as such: I made Keyesh angry, Keyesh attacked me, the Warden came in and tried to blame me for the attack. All clear, thus far?”

Kix nodded again.

“Well, that’s most of it. She said that I tried to kill Keyesh, and then it seems that she’s tried to adapt this into racial hate crime.”

The priestess blinked, certainly baffled.

“Oh, yes, most absurd, is it not? We Feathers of Iron are trying to lead a campaign to eliminate Kal’Dorei, whilst being led by one? Anyone with basic knowledge of the company knows this is blatant ignorance.”

Kix nodded, and opened her mouth again, “Um, the Highborne… He, attacked you?”

Jalou nodded. “Ayep. He sent me flying into a wall, because I have a bad mouth. I don’t blame him, but the principle remains.”

“The Highborne, um, he, does not seem, like a very nice person, I think…” gave the priestess.

“Oh, neither of us were being very nice people that evening. Still, though, we were better than to accuse anyone of attempted murder and racial genocide. He's on our side, even, because he has common sense.”

Kix remained silent a moment, in thought, it seemed. “Um… Maybe, I can, try to speak to Warden Raintree…?”

Jalou scoffed a laugh, and gave a shrug. “Good luck with that. If you can bring her to sense, you have my utmost respect, but I don’t think that anything can penetrate her thick skull.”

Kix frowned, and reached into the piggy jar for another cookie. Perhaps they weren’t poisoned at all?

“Whatever happens, we’ll see this resolved, legally. I’m not the criminal, for once in my life, and now we’re all treated like murderers. We’ll have this righted.”
Kix nodded.

Her job was done. She’d spoken, hardly been interrogated at all, and likely wasn’t being poisoned. To think that this feeble, stuttering gnome would be part of a plan of any sort… Jalou felt like an idiot. This type of thought made her no better than the Warden.

“Well, as I said, I’ve a busy schedule, and probably shouldn’t be in this region of Kalimdor anyhow.” Jalou rose to her feet.

The girl seemed flabbergasted by the rush, and awkwardly hopped to her own feet, and scurried to the door. “Um, okay…” She held the door open graciously.

Jalou gave a bow to Kix prior to stepping from the house. “My thanks for having me by, Kix, dear. I wish you the best of luck in, however you cope with living so close to a daft Warden.”

The priestess frowned at the less-than-encouraging words, “Elune’s Light guide you, Miss Jalou.”

“And you, Kix. Good day.”

((And yes, you're pretty accurate, Keyesh.))

"I mean, is there anything you see there that directly blames them and not their rogue employee? I'll read it again" Kyalin continued, placing her finger on the precise wording " 'The most recent report I've received involved an employee of the Feathers of Iron tavern in Booty Bay, although the management attempted to stop the actions of this rogue employee. We here in Darnassus hope that the management will react appropriately with the subsequent dismissal of this belligerent.' "

Verronia just shrugged. "You included their name."

"It's the only case where someone other than the individual could be called upon to act, and it seems to be working. They even came here to speak with me, brought an attorney and everything."

"An attorney? How did that go?"

"After he tried to intimidate me with this nonsense about 'international Alliance law', he actually conceded that the element of provocation existed. Their lawyer agreed with my argument!"

Verronia didn't look all that impressed. "So how can you justify going forward with this now that the motive has resolved itself?"

Kyalin finally took her eyes off of the notice. "What?"

"Keyesh went ahead and acted without you. Gave that Death Knight her memories back. She's in Northrend now."

Kyalin slid her mask off of her face and set it on the table, shaking her head. "Well... that's just great... Now I have to worry about a potentially unstable death knight too as she broods up in the cold north."

"He said that she wouldn't be a problem."

"I've no doubt that he would say that... of course the real test of whether he actually believes what he's shoveling will come soon enough I fear... regardless, this is subsequent to the attempt and therefore irrelevant...." The Warden went silent for a while, allowing her eyes to scan through the page once again, looking for any mistakes that may have somehow wind its way onto it. "I don't see anything that would even translate incorrectly to common... I think they just wasted their time in coming here..."

"I guess so."

"Their time and money... but I'll bet they brought Jalou as well..." Said the Warden as she trailed off. She tapped her finger against the notice for a few moments before she looked at Verronia again. "Have you been monitoring incoming letters of credit at the bank?"

"Of course not. You've had me working night and day on that pelt smuggling case!"

"How did that turn out?"

Verronia looked up for a moment and then back. "Two dwarves didn't know that..."

"Great!" The Warden interrupted. "So you have time then. If they're going to make their way here, they probably sent a letter of credit in advance to draw on their savings while they stay here. Expenses and the like, right? If we're lucky, we'll find one under Jalou's name and I'll have an excuse to lock down the port. Go, Verronia! There isn't a moment to lose!"

The accountant didn't share Kyalin's enthusiasm, frowning with narrowed eyes as she turned to make her way out of the barrows.

“Miss Jalou you and Mister Kairesh need to not be mean because being mean is every not good and Lady Raintree is very mad and she said that if you are bad then I will be in trouble for you and then we have to leave and wedonotwantoleavewejustmovedinandpleasebeGOOD!”, followed by sobbing. Kix certainly wasn’t in a good mood.

“So… What was that about you getting in trouble? For my actions?” responded Jalou, with no hint of sympathy yet in her voice.

Kix nodded, continuing to cry into her hands.

“Well, it seems we have yet another victim on our hands. This one, an innocent citizen of Darkshore.” gave Jalou, studying the crying gnome. “Hush, Kix, things shall be fine, once we fix them.”

“Do not threaten her!” croaked the priestess between a sorrowful gasp and the squeaked “...Please…”

“Threaten her? Kix, I assure you, I haven’t even seen her in nearly three weeks.”

The gnome spoke as she cried, making it hard to understand what sounded like “But she said… Her friend… Heard you and Mister Kairesh…”

Jalou raised an eyebrow to this, and shut her book. “Kix, this has gone too far. This was too far by day one, but now she’s sending spies into our tavern, to make things up about what we say? I was afraid that this would fall upon you.” It was hard to remember that she was talking to an adult woman, the way the gnome cried. A woman some double her age, at that. “Kix, this here? These tears? They shouldn’t be happening. You shouldn’t be a part of this at all, no matter who’s guilty.”

Jalou slid from her seat, and squatted on the floor before the priestess. “Come here, Kix.” The childish look and sound of this crying girl was a bit too much to bear. She opened up her arms for this woman she’d temporarily forgotten to be annoyed by. “Have a hug, dear. You need one.”

The tears rolled from Kix’s face onto Jalou’s shoulder, and from her shoulder down her robe. It was okay to bear, though. Were it herself being a big baby, she’d want a hug from even Kix. And how much did she honestly owe the priestess, anyway? She gave the gnome a pat on the back.

“Things will be fine, Kix. Is your husband home tonight?”

Jalou felt a nod on her shoulder, and heard an “Mhm.”

“He can comfort you, yes?” Jalou quickly realized how uninviting a question this way. “I’m sure that he can cheer you up more than I can.” There, now she was being kind again. “If you two need to come stay here in the tavern, we have rooms. I’ll give you my own bed, if I need to.”

“Th-…Thank you, Miss Jalou…”

“It’s my honor, Kix. You don’t have reason to believe me, but know that I’m innocent. We’ll settle this, and make sure that you’re safe.”

“I… Thank you…”

Jalou drew back to bring herself face to face with Kix. “Are you staying here, or returning home?”

The girl wiped tears from her face. “H-home… In Darkshore…”

Jalou nodded. “Yes, I’m not familiar with any of your other homes. Shall we go see if Ellie’s around? She can probably give you a portal back to Darnassus.”

“That... Would be g-good, I, uh, think…” managed Kix, her sobbing quieting.

“And if she’s not in, I’ll escort you as far as I’m allowed in that direction, if you’d like?”

“If, um... It would be nice, I think….” The gnome nodded.

“I’m not always mean, Kix. Let’s go.”

He paced back and forth upon his home in Darnassus he hardly really left it, he sighed in frustration as he read the advisory shaking his head balling up the papers in his fit, throwing it against his wall his anger mounted in him. He’s tried everything to convince her to remove it, this is getting way too much and it generates a war and yet all this was because of him, and he even told her that!

yet she still insist that it was intentionally provoked yes granted it was, he couldn’t deny that but he could have been the better person if anyone is to be blamed upon this event it should be him, he was the one who allowed his anger to be revealed and struck at her he has told her this.

He paced back and forth as he tried to figure out how to stop this insanity that has taken place, he sighed in utter frustration and there was a hint of annoying upon his normally calm face. He walked past the guards, not paying them any heed as he walked up the streets from his home. He needed some fresh air allowing the warmth of the sun to beat down upon his body, his cloak swaying against the wind as it brushes by him as he wears his normal red robes

This time as he walked by there was no hateful glares upon way, only for a select few but it didn’t overly bother him anymore, he gave them no reasons to fear him or not to trust him His eyes darted between the streets as he walked silently, his mind was off elsewhere this was of course after the event where feathers came to talk to Kyalin he watched the whole thing.
(The ittalic is moreless him thinking of past events.)
He even tried to convince the others to let it go, even tried to tell them they were wasting their time regardless. Once again he was right on that area as he watched that event take place, he only just watches shaking his head the whole time and yet he was unnoticed by some. It was one of those I told you so moments of course as amused and annoyed at the situation as he was, he wasn’t going to tell them that of course…

He thought of that meeting as he walked down the streets, merely going for a stroll to clear his mind and thoughts, he had to do this every day his spells depended on mostly concentration anyway. He couldn’t think of course with the events taking place: some part of him worried for Ehco up in the North even thought of journeying up there to see if she is at least ok and yet he decided against doing it.

As he reached to warriors terrace he moved off to the left heading to the training dummies, perhaps if he cast off a few spells upon the dummies will help clear his thoughts and erase the troubles in his mind. He pulls out his wand as he took aim towards the dummies muttered a spell, as flames ignite the wand shooting fourth towards the dummies…

He gave pause as he watched the spell get unleashed and sighs in frustration as it didn’t seem to do much of anything ‘’ Useless…’’ he said to himself as he sat down upon the grass he laid down upon his back gazing upon the skies ‘’ what do I do? ‘’ he muttered to himself

Bethanna Morgan was concerned. This was trouble, and she wished Commander Barthalomew would agree to get involved. Not that he didn't have enough on his mind, with that beastly cad Mr. Slater gone missing and ongoing guerilla operations in Ashenvale--but the Commander had a very strong and stable presence that tended to help resolve matters quickly and well.

She did think that Warden Raintree was more than a little harsh with Miss Oddlight, considering that Miss Oddlight was only to be a messenger and not the actual person responsible, but then again, it wasn't for her to judge.

And yet then again, if someone had been talking about getting her drunk and possibly molested by an innocent party under false pretenses, she'd be upset as well. Especially as Silas would probably do some fairly uncivilized things if they succeeded, and that wasn't her idea of a good day. It probably wouldn't be the targets' idea of a good day, either.

And further then again, having the Warden go off and do uncivilized things would likely get the entire Crusade in trouble.

But additionally then again, was it sufficiently her business to stay involved beyond reciting the conversation that she'd overheard? And having it all written down just in case she wasn't available? Of course people didn't necessarily believe that what she'd reported was accurate, word for word, but it was hardly her fault that they couldn't conceive of the possibility that someone could remember things like she did.

Genius is a heavy burden. She sighed as Silas nodded to her, his pen poised and ready. Then she tipped her head back and, yet again, went back into her memories and relived the entire event. Word for word, accent for accent, the conversation replayed itself through her mouth...

For once in at least several weeks, Kyalin was at home as well - not the makeshift cot she kept in the barrow dens - but her actual home in the Craftsman's terrace, reminding herself of all of the reasons why she preferred not to visit it.

Her eyes drifted across weapon racks, holding ancient weapons that she would likely never use again, old pieces of armor back from before that unfortunate morning in Nendis, and an old gnomish pictograph of her in her old scaled armor, taken right after Hyjal, standing with the sour look of a statue as a mug-wielding dwarf and orc on either side of her both raised their glasses to the camera. The gnome had a few angry words about them rushing in to get into the picture, thereby ruining his first attempt at capturing a picture to take back to the budding archaeological societies of Ironforge, but she got the spare at least. Her younger self almost looked at her critically, and disappointingly it seemed today, but between that and her old scaled helm, what else was new?

Verronia had arrived just then, carrying a tome that Kyalin just assumed to be a ledger. "Anything?"

"Not much I'm afraid... what's wrong? You look terrible."

Kyalin shook her head. "Nothing, just..." She looked up at the picture again and pointed to herself. "If she were here right now, she'd probably smack me for being so timid and tell me to just handle the issue."

Verronia peered at the old pictograph for a moment. "Well, perhaps it's good that she isn't here... these came in by the way." Verronia finished, handing Kyalin a bag of coffee beans, marked in common: "HAZELNUT"

She accepted and opened the bag, taking one of the beans out and proceeding to eat it before she set the bag on a nearby table. "Apparently the mark is plotting attacks against me now..."

"How did- "

"Bethanna. Apparently she overheard their conversation and rushed here to warn me about it."

"Just what were they planning to do?"

Kyalin shook her head. "I'd rather not go into the details if that's all right with you..."

"So what are you going to do?"

The Warden was silent for a while, her eyes moving over her old pieces of armor again and the dust covered weapons. "I did speak to Ms. Oddlight about it." Kyalin shook her head. "I was angry, I had just gotten the news, and... I still don't know if their entire organization is behind this or if it's still just the one but... ugh.." Kyalin paused again. "She seemed... surprised, and horrified to hear the news... Maybe it's not all of them but what if I'm wrong?"

"You're going to try to come down on all of them?"

"What am I supposed to do!?" The Warden exasperatedly exclaimed. "They're bold enough to challenge the law and to threaten it as well, I don't know what they're capable of, and I'm not about to find out. This has to be handled."
