World of Warcraft®

Hello! I've recently made a character on this server (because the Moon Guard crap is driving me crazy) although the last two guilds I joined turned out to be perks guilds. I'm not really good at introducing myself, so would there happen to be a recruting guild out there? (Alliance or Horde). Thanks!

Having just moved here recently, all I can really tell you is what others have told me.
Oh and welcome! It's pretty awesome here so far!

In finding a guild, you'll first need to figure out what type of guild you would like to be part of. Most of the guilds have a theme here. For instance, Da Doctas, which I joined recently, is a school/organization of healers and their protectors. There's darker themed guilds, messenger themed guilds, and so on.

When in game, make sure you hop into the ooc channels and make some friends, that might help in finding where you want to go also.

Welcome Catanara! Like the previous poster said, hop in our server channels: AllianceOOC and HordeOOC, say hello and we'll promise not to bite but Ragefang may steal your pants.

I'm not sure what aspect of Moon Guard craziness you're trying to evade, but I'll put this up anyway.

If you're Alliance, not a Warlock, and are interested in Kalimdorian RP, PVP, or both, the Chimaera is actively recruiting. We focus primarily on the Western Alliance and the war, but also intend to get embroiled in a few other things as time goes on.

If you're interested, let me know by in-game mail. No matter what you decide though, welcome to CC, and I look forward to RPing with you!

If you're a priest of the Light (thus begins the shameless plug!) you may be interested in Pia Presidium. We're a holy military order, sworn to defend the Church of the Light and the Alliance from anything or anyone who might threaten them. We also run a lot of fun events.

Welcome to CC, Catanara! I'm the GM of that "messenger themed guild" mentioned, the Anytime, Anywhere Messenger Service, a peaceful group that delivers letters and packages. We're unique in that we are a cross-faction guild, so you can join us no matter which faction you choose.

Some guilds not mentioned so far: Stormwind City Watch, a great group of people who run fun events.

I am also obligated to mention Terra Incognita, a military order aligned with the Church and Argent Crusade.

Welcome to CC. You'll note a full listing of guilds and events at the top of this forum which may help a bit. Be sure and join allianceooc or hordeooc as well as the respective rp channels hearthstoneic and hearthstone.

Feel free to drop in and introduce yourself. People on CC are generally very friendly and helpful. (If someone else posted the channels, forgive me. I didn't see it.)

Welcome to the server! And I was always told to stay away from Goldshire, true for 8 years ago and to this day. >.< I hear Silvermoon these days is sadly a place not to spend a lot of time in as well. Unless you LIKE Moon Guard >.> which scared me to death. *grins* Friend that asked me to roll there for a bit is still sorry for it.

Good luck to you there are a lot of good rp guilds here. I would give a shameless plug to one but seeing as I only play horde now it would be awkward. :)

(Queue everyone pointing out that 95% of our guild is paladins. WE WANT MORE!!! :P)

I have never seen much to worry about in Goldshire here on CC, and Silvermoon is usually pretty sparse as well. The only thing we have there now most of the time are the cross realm groups. If you wander into Silvermoon now, perhaps 80% of the players there are from Wyrmrest and I have even seen Moonguard and Farstriders folks there. Very few CC people.

Keep in mind this is a lower pop realm, you won't find near as much quantity rp, but those you do find will usually be very welcoming and open to rp. Quality wise is very good to excellent. Of course there are the few that are not as good, you will find those on any realm.
