Each year, the druids of the Moonglade gather to celebrate past defeats of the Burning Legion, and to renew their ongoing commitment to the preservation of our world.

Common routes to the Moonglade have grown more dangerous over the years, however, and due to the ongoing war, it is not advised to travel to the Moonglade this year. Instead, a celebration shall be held here in Darnassus on the seventh night of the Lunar Festival.

For the benefit of any visitors to our city, there will be a pre-ceremony, which will take place seven hours after mid-day. It will start with a brief tournament before the gates of the city, and prizes will be offered to the first, second, and third-place finishers. A banquet shall be held afterward in the gate itself, where traditional food and drink shall be served.

The pre-ceremony shall conclude with a fireworks display along the main walk to the Warrior's Terrace. We offer our apologies in advance to anyone who we should wake up.

The Lunar Festival is coming! So mark your calendars for February the Second, at 7pm. As the notice states, there will be a tournament with prizes (we haven't decided on them yet, but will discuss those at our upcoming guild meeting), a banquet, and finally, a fireworks display in the Warrior's terrace.

I will be creating a calendar event as well. Let me know if you would like to be added.

I can certainly help with some prizes as well.

The idea was originally for us to just raise gold (which is fairly easy on the AH), but I wouldn't be mute to the idea of sponsorship for the second, and third place prices (two for third).

I can't promise anything, but it will certainly be a topic for discussion for my guild's upcoming meeting. So I'll be able to let you know by Saturday.

So, there's a bit of an update here... we won't be having a fireworks show because during rehearsal we learned that the fireworks don't actually display....
