Hello everyone!

After two plus years as a guild focused almost entirely on portraying law enforcement officers and guards, we have decided to dramatically expand our RP boundaries in order to give more people and types of characters an opportunity to join.

The guild will henceforth be known as:

THE STORMWIND UNION

What does this mean?

The guild is now open to any good/law-abiding character that lives within the kingdom of Stormwind. I know many people like to have flexibility playing their characters, and by opening the guild to civilians of different professions and individual goals, that will allow people to have the RP flexibility they want in a Stormwind-focused guild. What ties the members together is the guild's dedication to keeping the kingdom strong and prosperous. From an in-character perspective, the guild is like a volunteer community association.

Of course I have to say that the Watch you know and love will continue to exist in its current form, but as a subgroup within the guild. They will be differentiated from the civilians by their uniforms and RP flags/titles.

I want to encourage everyone who is interested to contact me and see how your character can be part of this new adventure!

Orwyn and I discussed this change at length last week and I'm very much in favor of it. While the Watch has always been an exceptional guild its narrow focus did make recruitment an issue. I hope that this broadening of themes will help the guild grow and flourish.

Best of luck to you and your guild, Orwyn. I think this is a good change that'll help create more roleplay opportunities. I look forward to seeing more Stormwind citizens!

Orwyn, we discussed this quite a bit and as you know I fully support you as does Pia. I highly recommend this guild. Top notch players and role players.

Thanks for the kind words! One of the best things about this server, I think, is how the guilds support each other in so many ways. I know the Watch certainly wouldn't have been as successful "enforcing" laws without all your willingness to work with us on that.

Ahh, yes. The Watch. Tyr has had quite a few... interesting experiences with this lot. The only thing she HASN'T been arrested for is staircase loitering. And that's just as well.

((I've heard rumors of some "suspicious" new guilds starting up. I wish them a lot of luck - so much luck in fact, that the Union will need new members to cope with the increased threat to the kingdom!))

((I would love to play a District Attorney, especially in such an esteemed guild. It would have to be an alt of mine, however, because my main is Horde.))

((I won't lie Orwyn, my guild is one of those 'suspicious' guilds but we are still in the works of getting everything set up and going. College isn't helping so its going slower then normal, but hopefully we can get some good RP going between our guilds <3))
