Mina’s tent was definitely an oddity in Thunderbluff.

Its indigo colour made it stick out like sore a thumb among the more neutral colors of the Tauren. The inside was rather large and furnished much like you might expect from a Sin’dorei mage. Comfortable pillows dotted the floor. Scrolls, books and all manner of the arcane were stacked in shelves and on tables, and on the carpeted ground.

A comfortable looking bed was calling Mina’s name. Usually she slept with Riavis, but these days the pair had been so busy with their own projects that they had hardly seen one another. Mina undressed and dropped into her bed like a rock.

Riavis…

She would never say it outloud, but she was concerned about what could happen to the Warlock in Undercity. She did hope Sydric would bring him home safely. Thoughts swirled in her head of the events of the day. That Death Knight played his cello beautifully…not like Rivi, but a different beauty. “Syd…it’s a shame you are dead.” Mina giggled and snuggled beneath the covers.

A slow grin spread over her face. Kass and Illis…Illis and Kass…They are so adorable! The two were perfect for each other, and their affection showed in their eyes. Mina yawned softly and thought about all the details that would have to be sorted out for their wedding; she counted them out on her fingers until she remembered Illis asking her not to tell Rivi.

Mina frowned, containing her excitement was not going to be easy. With any luck maybe Illis and Kass would see him first? Maybe? One could only hope.

Light help me…

As sleep overcame her, the thought of Vanwë entered Mina’s mind. She hoped the rogue would contact her soon…

Hellfire Peninsula -

I have never experienced anything like the many jobs I have found here. I am slaying orcs one moment then killing demons and blowing up portals. It is exhilerating!

Then I heard it, a loud cross between a howl and a growl that petrified me, and scared me near to death. I turned my head seeking whatever it was that made such a sound. Then the ground trembled beneath me as I saw this enormous creature moving slowly towards me. Something within me told me I didn't want to meet this "thing" and I mounted up and rode away as quickly as I could.

It kept on walking, almost as if I had been beneath it noticing me. And kept its patrol of the area. I wondered if it was a mechanical construct or a living thing. I only knew I did not want to find out on a personal level. Very few things frighten me, well, yeah, a few things, but that scared me more than anything I had ever seen or heard.

What other things could possibly frighten the holy warrior Jen'tira Whitemane? They are the intangibles, those things you cannot grasp in your hand, but still fill you with dread. For instance, losing Leon. War is hell, and there are casualties. I would...I cannot say it, I would die if something were to happen to him. I love him so much that life would be so empty without him in it. I shall not dwell on that thought, for it fills me with an ache to see him again unlike anything I have felt before.

I dreamt last night of our wedding. And how handsome and rugged he looked. So tall, and I wanted him more than I ever had before. I could feel it within myself, I desired him more standing beside him as we were taking our vows. A warmth spread through me, and I wanted to take him there and then in front of all the guests and the priest. It was so hard to contain my composure, and act as though everything was alright. While my body burned with a deep passion for this man who would be my husband. I don't remember how I made it through the reception, but when we were finally alone...well, let's just say the sunrise was just coming up, and we were still going strong.

Light, I love that man!

The Winterskorn Vrykul find my axe and shield deadly as they charge and die before me, for a few bits and pieces of Frostweave Cloth. I pause when I see a petite white-haired elf slaying the vrykul as handily as I, maybe easier too.

She selects them, fires off a spell, then turns a takes on another. The first barely makes it to her and falls at her feet dead as a doornail. Very efficient. She looks very pretty as the cold breezes blows that white mane of hers around. I stop and watch her continue to slay the Winterskorn left and right. I am impressed.

I stand there like a lovesick schoolboy, before she sees me and disppears with a simple wave of her hands. Mages.

I begin my assault, and gather several of the big louts together. They fall before me as I let fly my shield, and chop them down. After about an hour, I grow weary, and head to a nice little village to slacken my thirst. And find my thoughts returning to the snowmage.

These big clods of vrykul don't even know what hits them as my spell drops them all around me like stones. I have skills that require mass quantities of Frostweave cloth, and they have it. I have worked myself around the small little site too many times, and they are becoming too few to find.

I seem to have attracted the attention of a human paladin. Great, just flipping great. I am in no mood to play with Alliance. I have nothing against them really, they smell funny is all.

Perhaps I'll move to Skorn, more bodies, more cloth. And hopefully no Alliance.

I cannot help think of my Zyss. I can only hope she's doing well. I may stay out here a while, give her room to love and take care of that paladin of hers. So help me if he hurts her there will be hell for him to pay, in cold hard ice.

I need to forget her, and move on. Not many chances of romance out here, and I would sooner kiss a yeti than one of these tall vrykul.

Ah, well, back to work...

The very fortress quaked under the unbridled rage of the Master. A great roar of anger was heard throughout the corridors and halls of the large keep. Then it was quiet, oh, so very quiet. The servants and guards all waited for the inevitable pin drop. However it never came...

The great black wings of the black dragon moved quietly through the night sky as it's rider seethed internally from fury. The Master was not please, and whoa to the one who would feel the fury of the Dark One.

His minion had overstepped himself, and had sent assailants against many of the top members of the circus. What was he thinking? And why tinker with the delicate balance the Master had worked for all this time? He would have to explain himself, and explain it quickly, or he would be dust before this day was over.

The great dragon roared out into the night, and the rider roared along with him.

It was with a definite frown that Vivi read the note. Some one dared to trifle with her minions...er trained performers. How DARE them!! She was incensed with fury! The air inside her tent became a swirl of darkness as she raged inside, pacing back and forth as she gathered several imps and a succubus, three felguards and a dozen felhounds.

"You will guard the members of Cirque! Night and day, each of them to have an escort at all times! I will personally see to this upstart! He has no idea who he is dealing with! I will twist his appendages into pretzels and feed his intestines to you my pets...an inch at a time...while he hangs screaming from the shadow chains I have him hanging by!!"

The demons all crowed in excitement, they had not seen Vivi rage in this manner in a long time! Eagerly they set out to find the members of Cirque. None of them would be without a tiny imp, a bristly felhound or a lumbering Felguard lurking near them. Not interfering with their tasks, but not leaving them alone either.

Calling for a messenger, Vivi sent a note to Riavis. When he stood before her she nearly growled at him. "You will bring forth minions and guard yourself and Mina. I task you with keeping the group safe, while I hunt down this foul intruder. He will regret the day he sent any harm to my beloved Cirque!"

Illisidel Lightsun walked the streets of New Hearthglen, seemingly just as ordinary as usual, but today things were anything, but ordinary. He had felt like he was being followed, and calling upon the Light, he sensed the prescence of a demon nearby. After his engagement to Kass, he would have chalked it up to Rivi, trying to get some juicy details, but for some reason this just didn't feel right. He walked along the strets reeting people he passed as he ordinarily would, but he wasn't heading for his house. Instead he walked into an alleyway that was fairly secluded, he continued to walk, acting completely normal.

The imp had no idea what hit it, all it knew was that suddenly it couldn't move, and it looked up to see a very angry paladin. Illis' eyes blazed with holy light, "You are brave to come here demon, to a place practucally mutually inhabited by paladins like myself. Did you think you would go unnoticed for long?" He kneeled down in front of the imp his eyes promising much pain if he didn't talk, "Now what are you doing here, depending on your answer, I may let you go on your merry way." The imp stuttered for a second, torn between it's fear of it's master, and the fear of death, in the end it decided living was better.

"I-I was sent here by my mistress, Vivieka Blacktalon," it flinched as the paladin snorted, afraid it's doom had come.

Instead the imp heard laughter, looking up it saw the paladin laughing, "So has she finally sunk to spying on me? I know she doesn't like me much, considering I am the only person who will stand up to her, but stooping so low as to spy?"

The demon shook it's head, "Not spy, protect, she ordered me, and some of her other demons to protect, and watch over the members of Cirque."

The imp cowered as the paladin glared at it, his eyes full of holy fervor, but he let out a deep breath, and his eyes returned to normal. Picking the demon up by it's scrawny little neck he lifted it so that their faces were only inches apart. He growled, "You tell Vivieka, that I do not need, nor want her protection, whatever she is trying to protect me from they will learn soon enough, that I am not to be trifled with." He threw the demon on the ground, "Now begone before I change my mind, and destroy you, and be sure to deliver my message to Vivieka, believe me I have a friend that can cause oyu just as much pain, as she could." He grinned down at the demon wickedly, "And he loves torturing demons, especially imps, he say their screams of agony, are simply delicious," that was all it took to send the cowardly demon running.

Illis knew the imp was stuck between a rock, and a hard place, no matter it's choice it would be given pain, the difference is Illis was sure Vivieka wouldn't kill it, whereas Dalfein would. "So someone is targeting the Cirque, I will let whatever demon Vivieka sent to guard Kass remain, I am more worried about her than myself. Still it seems I have some preparations to make, whoever this enemy is they will rue the day they messed with Illisidel Lightsun, paladin of the holy Light."

I overextended myself, pure and simple. I really should have known better. They were not as stupid and clueless as I assumed. Did I really think I could slay them over and over again without them noticing anything amiss? Silly mage.

I was surprised that they didn't slay me where I stood. Oh, no nothing that easy, no, no. They kept me. They stripped me of all of my equipment, my gear, and...my clothes. They like to watch me in the cage they put me in. I really think these vrykul are only a step up from mere animals. Silly mage.

I dance and sing a little, it seems to amuse them. I have tried to break free, but to no use. There must be something dampening my magic, or something. So no freedom, at least not yet. Oh, did I tell you it's cold up here? Yeah, especially when you don't have any clothes on!!

He trembled at the news he had to bring to the one he called Master. Then he straightened his shoulders, and walked alone to the waiting area. He removed his helmet and stood waiting. One never knew how long they had to wait. They just waited.

"You have a report, minion?" The voice was very deep, and quiet.

"Yes, milord, two things have arisen that I knew you would want to know about as soon as possible. One, someone is kidnapping several of the Cirque members. I have reports that the one known a Neryth the blacksmith and paladin has disappeared. His is Horde, and my agents said that it was Alliance people that took him. Also the woman Zyss has gone missing."

Tension filled the room, as a low grumble could be heard, "And the other item to report?" The voice was calm, however it was not quiet.

"Master, that b*tch Lady Vivieka Blacktalon has ordered demons to protect those of the troupe. Our agents tell me that every one of the members have some sort of demon assigned to them. Not all of them desire having a demon hanging around them, milord.

"The paladin to be wed for instance refuses to have one around her. The one captured by..."

"I KNOW WHO YOU SPEAK OF!! DO NOT ASSUME I FORGET ANYTHING, MINION!"

The minion fell before him, quaking in his heavy metallic boots. "No, milord, I beg your forgiveness...please."

"Is there anything else you wish to add?" the voice dripped sarcasm and malice.

"Yes, Master, the rogue, Cyaer Sunblaze. His marriage disintegrates from underneath him. And he has crawled into a bottle. He is watched, however he stays on his 'farm' and drinks himself into oblivion."

"I see. Bring him to me. I have need of an infiltrator of that damnable circus."

"Master, do you think that wise? All reports show that..."

"ARGH! DO YOU QUESTION ME?! GET OUT!! OR SO HELP ME...GO!!!"

The minion ran from the room, fortunate to be alive.
