I have a post like this on the pet battle forums as well, but this is for folks specifically on the realm im in.
Greeting Everyone, Pet Battlers, Seller, and Fanatic here again to give you some insight on 5.4 Pets. Now I know that just about everyone on every server is gonna be hunting anything that moves, but due to this some folks will become a little "Shadier" then others. Remember the chaos that was created when 5.2 introduced the Zandalari Warbringers? All the force resetting, flagging up, forced knockback/DeathGrip bullmallarky that was ensuing, well Im here to impede on this as best as possible. Now I have a private channel called Petcentral ingame that i use to communicate with others, so if your a fan of battle pets like me and my friends i recommend you join up to...this way we get a communication junction going.
Back to the point at hand, i am 99% positive there will be people trying to force reset the rares that drop pets or other unique things for their own greedy reasons so with this form of petcentral communication you can ask for help or type the people who are responsible so that I may speak to them myself on their deplorable actions. Furthermore if kindness and reason aren't going to work i will do what i did with the warbringers towards the GM that got them fixed, and personally make sure and point out that its ok to force to steal and such and make the GM's get completely flooded with tickets and complain calls. The next day after i posted that on the bug reports "BAM" they nerfed it to force resetting was completely impossible. Still its not to say the GM's havent seen it already but its good to be aware if the case arrises. In short be aware of what people like that may do, dont be afraid to ask for help, and report them as needed or state their name in the chat so I can speak with them myself. Also do not stoop to reset tagging yourself if it was done to you, you folks are better then that, only time it is viable is if you had the genuine tag first and are trying to maintain it.
