Who and How We Are
In Riddle of Steel, people come first as we enjoy all Azeroth and beyond has to offer.
Here in Riddle, we admire substance over bragging, prize friendship over gear, and value loyalty, honor, trust, veracity, candor, respect, and integrity as key characteristics of our members. While we know nothing easy is ever worth it and nothing worth it is ever easy, we ask only what we offer, which is our best to those around us.
While there have been many iterations of Riddle - the guild having started long ago on a different server and the reins of leadership passing while here on Sisters of Elune - the current vision is one of camaraderie, perseverance, and setting and achieving our own goals. We are our own measuring stick, appreciating those that share our same banner and working together while having fun.
Our Raids
Riddle of Steel is a progression-minded guild. We enjoy a laid-back attitude in regards to raiding, although we expect our raiders to know the difference between go time and BS time. Even though we’re having fun, we know it’s business from our first pull of the night to the last minute of the scheduled raid. We want the bad guys to drop and give us shinies, and we know we need to work together to get it done.
Working together as a team, we prize providing and receiving feedback from our teammates as we progress through content. An open mind and clear head are key elements, and honest and respectful communication between team members is a requirement. Given this, we value that "what happens in raid stays in raid” and no grudges are carried forward if someone is addressed on an issue. Feedback is never given to belittle someone, but rather given with the intent on helping us all move forward and up.
We currently have one Flex raid group that runs Tuesday and Wednesday 9PM-11PM and Sunday 7PM-11PM (Central/Server Time), with various other activities going on as schedules allow and members show interest.
We also have folks in several other games and MMOs, and you're welcome to play with us in those games, too.

We are always welcoming new folks under the Riddle banner. For raid positions, we prefer dedicated raiders who can make all raid times, but Flex does give us some wiggle room regarding attendance. Speak to an officer for more information on this.
Equally, people seeking a relaxed atmosphere for their non-raiding characters are encouraged to make Riddle their home. There is more to the game than just raids and we value the companionship and camaraderie of non-raiding players.

For those new to WoW: If you're new to the game and want help in learning how classes work, professions info, leveling suggestions, hints, tips, tricks, and other minutia regarding all things Azeroth, feel free to chat up one of our officers and come aboard! Players new to the game are more than welcome in RoS.
