There would never be a goof of this magnitude. Any company that has to maintain online servers keeps multiple backups of their data, and usually even backs up the back ups.
But if such a thing happened, I would definitely be done. Worked too hard to get some of the things I have today, and some things can't even be gotten anymore, such as the ZG mounts, the awesome axe that transforms you into a guitar-wielding skeleton, etc.
