At last the old world we all came to love or hate during our lower level days got a much needed readjusting. I must say, yesterday I was a bit sad at the thought of this place changing... and now I'm like a kid in a candy store!

Orgrimmar takes the cake, but Thousand Needles is a close second.

- What was the first area you ran to check?
Thousand Needles, and it was jaw-dropping.

- What place didn't live up to your expectations?
Winterspring. I wasn't sure what would've happened there, but oddly enough, very little changed.

Edit: That "Highway" bridge in northern Azshara is AWESOME!

Second edit: The zone/town music is awesome, I love it! Especially the goblin tunes!

Favorite Place so far?
I haven't seen much but the Dwarf lowbie zones so far, but I've got to say that seeing the quests in Loch Modan (which really had a bad quest progression) was pretty neat.

First area?
Coldridge, with my new alt. Dwarf Mage supremacy!

Didn't live up to the expectations?
Where's Stone Magni?

So far, I absolutely -love- Orgrimmar. It's so neat not knowing where everything is.

- What was the first area you ran to check?

WPL, because I wanted to go to Scholo and get some quick gobbo rep. (Didn't know you could do that? Good times)

Thassarian kicked my level 80 butt, over and over and over. I wept.

- What place didn't live up to your expectations?

Oddly enough, Senjin. Yeah, it is its own town now, and has a flight path, but after seeing how cool the troll section of Orgrimmar is? I was just slightly disappointed. Still crazy cool though.

I had seen the new version of Orgrimmar in screenshots and in the beta... however that didn't compare to seeing it live. I jumped from my seat and was all "FOR THE HORDE!" with this face >:D.

Also... whats up with trolls and training dummies? 98% of the island is covered with them.

I've been just questing in a couple areas but so far it's been a great experience! The music is just amazing!

- What's your favorite place so far?

Silverpine Forest (man the quests are sweet!)

- What was the first area you ran to check?

Orgrimmar; I love it though it's going to take some time to get used to it, should be better with flying on cata.

- What place didn't live up to your expectations?

I love everything so far though some friends are saying that Winterspring is still boring.

Thousand Needles was pretty awesome. But I've only seen Thousand Needles, Tanaris, Un'goro, and a bit of desolace. TBH, pretty much everything is cool. Although there's a few odd peculiarities here and there.

    - What was the first area you ran to check?

Orgrimmar I guess. Was confusing at first, but I think I know my way around now. /proud

Not so much a place, as something blizzard did. Logging into my prot warrior who was suddenly too low level to use his shield kinda sucked.

Okay guys... Southern Barrens is the best. Just the best.

If Cataclysm is anything like Southern Barrens, we're going to have a GREAT time. I'm honestly not looking forward to getting to Outland.

So far...Stonetalon. So much fun, the quests were amazing. They actually made me Pro-Hellscream, which I thought would never happen.

    - What was the first area you ran to check?

Org. My gawd. I felt the same way I did the first time seeing Shattrath. It's so huge. And I swear, I still get lost trying to get to Lower City. So, I can imagine that I'll be getting turned around there for the next couple of months.

    - What place didn't live up to your expectations?

Thunder Bluff. While Mulgore was new and shiney, TB looks the same it did 6 years ago, plus a trainer or two.

I'll preface this by saying that I've only seen some of the changes; my opinions will likely differ once I've seen everything.

    - What's your favorite place so far?
Western Plaguelands... I almost teared up looking at it, actually, seeing a place in Azeroth where things had really improved with time. :)

    - What was the first area you ran to check?
Stormwind, of course. It's nice to see all the various new areas out to the northeast of the city...

    - What place didn't live up to your expectations?
Ashenvale, which seems just a jumbled mess now. I think they tried to jam too many things into the limited space they had...

So far my favorite place has been Silverpine. I'm like ... one step away from going all out Forsaken here.

The first area I checked was Stormwind. Dear gods. It's just amazing. This was quickly followed by a trip to Orgrimmar, and I'm just as lost as a lot of folks.

I've not even begun to thoroughly explore yet, but the biggest "let down" has been the other capital cities.

OKay I would just like to add, that if you have not done the quests for Booty Bay. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO SO. Trust me you are not gonna be dissapointed.
And that is all I will say on that without giving away spoilers

Area? Barrens. The whole Southern half completely amazed me. ;)

    - What was the first area you ran to check?

Barrens.. XD Then to Thousand Needles. I was surprised. I didn't expect it to be that awesome.. :P

    - What place didn't live up to your expectations?

I was disappointed to see that UC hadn't changed at all... it was my favorite city. D:

Well, I stood in Silvermoon for an hour or two, didn't even realize it before I had to hearth to get to Dal, " Oh look no portals! " So I technically went to Orgrimmar.

    - What place didn't live up to your expectations?
    BC areas, nothing happened. D:
