World of Warcraft®

Hello.

I've been playing WoW for a few years and always enjoyed the social aspect--grouping up in guilds and working together to challenge various content is one of the best parts of this game for me. However, I currently live outside the US (in East Asia), and as such my playtimes are pretty crazy when compared to the server time. Seeing as how I'm a tank it doesn't hurt my queue times, but I've spent way too long grinding through dungeons without anyone in the group saying a word. Doing that almost feels like I'm playing a single-player game. I'd like some camaraderie.

I'm hoping to find a guild with a few people who play in the early morning server time. 1 AM server time is about 6 PM my time. I know this is a long shot, but seeing as how Cataclysm is right around the corner I think this would be a great time to find some new friends to spend an expansion with.

If you're reading this and can provide any guild names (even ones other than your own), I would appreciate it very much.

I'm sorry no one replied to your post Kessana. I lived in Japan for a couple years when WoW first came out and had the same problem. The CC forums don't seem very active in regards to people replying to threads like this. I speak from personal experience. The only thing I can suggest would to be join the /oldschool and /hordeOOC channels and try to network that way.

You may wish to consider an Oceanic server, if you'd like weekday content.

Optionally, you can look for a raid which does content on the weekends.

This doesn't answer your social activity question, but sadly, I cannot help much with that.
