The initial push is well underway, and after a very successful WotLK, After Dark is setting their sights on the Cataclysm content. Like many guilds, we have moved to a 10-man raid structure for this content and intend on supporting at least two 10-man official guild runs.
What do we need?
We are currently taking applications from all skilled and mature players, but we are particularly in need of healers and tanks (to a slightly lesser extent) to fully launch these two groups.
If you are a DPS class, you are more than welcome to apply, but please understand that we have many current members in these roles. It may be a bit of time before a spot is open for you. However, we really do want to take a look at all applicants who are serious about joining. If you're DPS and we're not compelling enough for you to be flexible in your raiding expectations, we're probably not the place for you just right now.
On a personal side, we are looking for adult (at least 18+, no exceptions) players who are mature, but certainly with a sense of humor and a friendly attitude.
We try to keep a relatively low profile and let our actions speak for themselves. As such, we try to avoid taking members who are very publicly involved in markets and/or trade trolling. There's some prestige (and therefore some responsibility) that comes along with our tag.
Who are we?
If you don't know of us, we are a serious but flexible late-night raiding guild. We have a great reputation on the server and strive to provide an atmosphere that supports our raiders to the utmost. We wrapped up ICC very nicely and are looking to remain competitive in Cataclysm.
We provide discounted flasks and feasts (once unlocked) and offer to purchase the mats for these from members. We have a great guild banking system with items discounted from AH prices. Our leadership is accessible and friendly. Recruits are evaluated for at least two weeks of raiding time, and applications are reviewed by members before we trial someone. (We don't share real names or email addresses.) This means that the guild as a whole is involved in its own evolution --- not just filling the ranks according to the whims of a small officer group. We've also recently added a PvP officer with an intent to focus on Rated Battlegrounds, and we're excited to see where that takes us.
