I met Kachana, a fierce Night Elf warrior, in the tunnels between Felwood and Winterspring. We stumbled upon each other in the dark passageway and agreed since we both had the same destination that we should travel together, for safety.

We had just emerged from the caves when we came across a Furbolg of the Timbermaw clan who needed us to collect some beads for him. Since we both needed to stretch our legs we decided to help this creature in its task.

Off we took to a nearby valley were we found other Furbolgs of a rival clan who had an abundance of these beads; but who refused to trade for them peacefully. During the ensuing battle I become separated from Kachana, my new found companion. I was searching another valley a few ridges over from where I had seen her last when I heard her piercing howl, more of a scream, echo through the valley.

I knew that this was not a Furbolg that she had run into. Instantly I called for my Stormsaber, Hurricane, who was nearby and mounted up, moving over the snow effortlessly as I searched my new friend out.

Coming over a ridge I seen her, locked in mortal, as this case would be, immortal combat with an Undead rogue. I could tell, even at a distance, from the way Kachana was limping that the rogue had surprised her and was in the process of finishing her off.

Hurricane and I charged into the fight and I dismounted at full speed. My first set of spells, a Shield and a renewing heal onto my faltering comrade were cast even before I hit the ground. As I rolled to a stop I threw out a Painful shadow spell onto the rogue, followed by calling down a plague to infect him.

This caught the rogue by surprise, turning the tables, and now the hunter was becoming the hunted. Quickly the rogue disengaged and tried to flee into the snowy Wasteland. But, he was not quick enough and I was able to land two holy smites upon him, dropping him in the fresh snow.

Standing over the undead's corpse we agreed that we should be a bit more cautious in this new land.

OOC:
Not sure how the both of us got flagged for PVP when we got to Wintersping, but an Undead rogue thought he could get the jump on my warrior friend. I was further down the zone finishing a quest when she was, literally, ambushed. When I arrived she was under 20% health and not doing to well. I don't think the rogue seen me until my DoTs showed up on him and he tried to flee. Having probably blown all of his cool downs in bursting the warrior down to almost dead he was pretty easy to pick off while he turned and tried to run. Many thanks to the rogue for making last night a bit more interesting!

Almost makes me want to try a PvP server.... well, almost...
