"It's no secret that Azeroth can be dangerous, even to the most hardy of adventurers - Demons, angered elementals, wild beasts, wars between the Horde and Alliance, and much more. However, in my experience, it's always the smaller, more subtle, more sinister things that can prove fatal. Illness, improperly treated wounds, all are able to claim lives...If left untreated, of course!"
On April 9th, a medical tent will be hosted within the Crossroads, starting at 6:00 PM server time. The Horde is no stranger to the Northern Barrens or it's dangers - be it the wild overgrowth happening in the Oasis', Centaur aggression, wild beast attacks, or even Alliance skirmishing at the northern borders. No condition will be turned down, be it sickness, broken bones, bullet wounds, or worse. If you have an older, already healed injury that needs a second opinion, that can also be handled.
Healers that are learning the basics of their craft are encouraged to come along to watch, participate, and pick the brain of local experts!
"What Treatment is available?"
Ideally, all kinds are available. From the Holy Light, to mechanical means (such as good old salve, bandages, and stitches), to even utilizing a bit of Shadow magic to mend allies that do not react well to other sorts of magic. In the best case scenario, the Medical Tent will attract healers of all professions and abilities to the location. In the worst case scenario, you just have Leileran.
"I'm a healer, how do I get involved/What healers are acceptable?"
Send me a letter in-game! Or post in the thread...or even show up on your own to provide your services! Just because you have forgot to inform me ahead of time doesn't mean you can't show up anyways. All healers are welcome, from basic trauma medics to Druids, Shaman, Mistweavers, fellow Priests, Paladins, or even particularly clever Alchemists! (Though, Patients would likely prefer that the crazy tonics be kept to a minimum...But where's the fun in that?)
"What sort of injuries are acceptable?"
Any and all injuries are expected, of severity ranging from simple but nasty paper-cuts to grievous injuries that need immediate attention. I mean, what's the use of having healers if no one is in need of assistance?
This event is a means to reach out to both experienced and new Rpers, and is intended to be open ended to allow things to develop on their own. ( After all, half of RP is improvisation! )
Any and all questions that I haven't answered can either be asked in the thread here, or you can approach me in game/through an in-game letter!
Stay safe, and try not to die!
