Proposing a Guild Merger

Mouthful of Justice is currently right in the middle of the pack as far as raid progression goes, but our ranks always seem a bit thin on non raid days. Ideally to solve this problem I'd spend hours upon hours scouring trade channel or these forums looking for people interested in trying out the guild. This time, I'm trying a new approach.

We're rank 21, and are a casual, fun raid group, with players that have been playing together since the start of BC, or even earlier, making us one of the older guilds on the server. (certainly there are some dinosaurs out there that beat us by years, but in the big picture, we're old). We are looking to acquire groups of players, perhaps a guild that seems stalled out on progress, whether it be raid, guild leveling, etc. I have been leading this guild for a long time, and seem to know how to manage people in a fun, productive way. If you're a guild master yourself, and are tired of doing it, or think it'd benefit your guild to join MoJ, meet some new people while still keeping your existing friends, give me a whisper in game, or send me an in game mail, so we can discuss this further.

We aren't opposed to bringing in people that are only interested in dungeons, or heroics, and not raiding, we're just looking for friendly, fresh faces, to make this game more enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for reading my wall of text, and good luck to everyone, I hope to see you in game!

Good luck on it. Though it might do you better to specify what happens to the leadership of the acquired guilds. You mentioned a guild leader joining "if they don't want to do it anymore", sounding like you'd take all the people and the higher-ups would no longer have any status..which people don't typically like to do.

It might also be difficult based on the whole "guild reputation" thing. Being revered with a guild and then switching to another guild sucks...but that's only if you care about the rewards like the pets and whatnot.
