Beskitte's Drunken escapades (rp)

Bright amber eyes looked curiously around the large tavern as she made her way toward an empty table. She was new to the area and figured she could get a little drink while on her adventures. Plopping down onto a stool, a heavy sigh escaped her lips and she'd drop her axe down next to her and she'd wave her chubby little hand frantically at a waitress that was meandering around the tavern. "Oy, strongest ale ye got, there lass." Beskitte would say in a cheery voice. The stout dwarf's voice was quite boisterous, but far from rude when she spoke.

As she waited for her drink, another dwarf moved to her table, slammed his mug down and challenged her to a drinking contest. Beskitte raised a brow and smirked, then let out a hearty laugh. "Ye gotta be kiddin' me, lad. Do ye know who I am?" She'd ask curiously, that smile still playing on her dark lips. The male dwarf, who appeared to be a warrior, laughed at her and retorted, "I dun care who you are lass, I be a bettin ye can't out drink meh. I ain't been beat in years. Ain't that right boys?" He'd say, then look over to his comrades who nodded at him in agreement. Beskitte got a little flustered and red in the face. She didn't like to be humiliated, so she figured she'd have to put this fat ugly dwarf in his place.

First, Beskitte climbed onto the table and stood up announcing, with a roar of her voice..."I be Beskitte Darkaxe and I ain't gonna let no flabber mouthed ugly dwarf like you show me out. So, you're on." And the dwarves would order the first few rounds of drinks. They'd start with the semi-weak ale and move onto heavier stuff that would have them making those weird icky faces that people usually made when something tasted stout.

The by-standers would buy them drink after drink and place bets to see who would be left standing. Beskitte wasn't one to give up. Ok, she was a paladin and supposed to be all good and holy, but she also liked her ale because she was a dwarf and she loved a good drinking challenge. She was still positioned on the table top but sitting down this time so she didn't fall; her chubby little legs dangling from the table edge. She was pretty drunk now and teeter tottering, hence why she sat down now. She went to chug down another gulp when out of the corner of her eye the other dwarf had reached for her axe to either steal it or something worse.

Big mistake. Never touch a dwarf's axe. Ever. She'd chug the rest of the ale down while turning and kicking her foot out, catching him in the arm that held her axe. She'd then chuck the huge metal stein at his head causing him to let out a high pitched wail, while she scrambled up onto all fours to snatch her axe back from him, moving off the table to a standing position on the floor. She held the axe up to his throat, raising a brow slightly. "Ye made the biggest mistake of yer life by touchin me axe, lad. If'n I wasn't a paladin, ye'd be dead." She'd glare at him as she was the same height and could look him in the eye. He'd snarl at her wondering how she could even move that quick with as much drink as they'd had and the way she had been teetering and nearly falling off the table not too long ago.

Since he didn't have a weapon in his hand right now, all he could do was stand there and look defeated, because well, he was. The only thing that made it worse for him was the fact she was female. "Ye might 'ave won this time, Darkaxe, but ye ain't 'eard the last of me. Do I make myself clear?" He said, moving to get the axe out from under his throat. Beskitte smirked, trying to hold her composure and to keep from falling over. "Ye, whatever. Now get yer fat ugly face outta 'ere. This my place fer now." She'd say, then move to sit down again, letting the other dwarf go freely on his merry little way.

She'd let the drunken stupor finally take over and she'd let out a laugh before letting her head fall to the table and she'd start snoozing away.

(Getting into the flow of rp again, so my writing is lacking a little right now.)

Ms. Beskitte
How have you been, it has been awhile since you last wrote to us here in Stormwind.
I myself have been very well. Over the summer, I took the time to visit the southern most part the Eastern Kingdoms. I took time to visit the Alliance forts and Kill some abhorred Trolls. Then I traveled north to the Twilight Highlands, were I think I might have met some of you relatives.
But now that summer is over things have gotten Rough. Did you hear about the Attack on Theremore ? The Madness of it all. Especially happening right after the defeat of Deathwing ! But That is the Horde for you. Good old King Varian has been very calm about this, but what can you say. His son seems to have had a positive affect on him.
The aftermath of the Attack on Theremore seems to have brought new War, and strange new people. I am of course talking about the lovely Pandaren. A bear like people who have traveled from the a living Island, or so say the few I have talked to in my daily jaunts.
On other matter, I have heard the King want to send people to a new Continent. Some place that has just opened in the mists. As bout you and I know, first chance I get I'm heading their. A whole new world to explore and see. New food, new place and hopefully a few good new men.

Well I hope to see you their
Yours Always,
Theias

(Np, Theias, it's all good. :) this is just as good I liked it)))))

*Beskitte would be searching through her mail, she hadn't been back to Stormwind in almost a year. Ever since the downing of Deathwing, she'd taken off to find other adventures elsewhere and had broken off from her friends.
She'd heard of this Pandaren, but wasn't exactly sure if the rumors were true. But, alas, after reading Theias' letter, she guessed it was. So, she would write Theias back to let her know what was going on and that she would be returning soon. Sounds Theias had had some adventures of her own. Beskitte would smile and then sit down to write back.

"Dear Theias,

It seems you've had some great adventures of yer own. I didn't think the rumors were true, but since you are never known to spread a rumor or lie about something as important as this, I suppose said rumors are true and not a lie. Well, I will be returning to Stormwind in less than a fortnight and I think it's time you and I go on an adventure to see these new lands for ourselves, yes? I can't wait to be back to see the guild mates, I'm sure some of them have become well seasoned and stronger since last I saw them. It saddens me that Theramore fell, but I spose it was bound to happen, huh? Glad to hear King Varian is being so calm, I wouldn't have been.
I've been so busy on my long journey escorting some new recruits to the Paladin life and having to train them. Of course, as ye know me, I'm still known to frequent any tavern I can find and become famous in it. *laughs while she writes that part*

Someone told me that my name came up in conversation as being a traitor! Me!!?? A traitor? I dun see how. I've done everything I could, I've been nothing but loyal to the alliance and someone is calling me a traitor. They say I been in cahoots with a horde, whatever that means. *eyes narrow as she writes that part, and wants to scribble it out, but changes her mind* Anyway, if'n ye can find out who be callin me a traitor, I'd be so grateful. Well, I ain't afraid of nothin, so when I return to Stormwind, I guess I'll find out if I'm welcome there. Then you and me and anyone else who wishes to tag along can find this new Pandaren land and see what all this fuss is about, what say you? You don't have to answer now, though. I'll see you when return to Stormwind. Very soon.

Your loyal comrade,

Beskitte Darkaxe

Dear Beskitte,

It was wonderful to hear for you so recently. Whilst perusing you letter i read some one has called you a traitor ?! I am shocked. Next they will be saying you married a Leaper Gnome. I will check my contacts in SI:7, a few of them owe me a favor. I will see into this nonsense.
AS for venturing to Pandaria. I believe war is staring up soon. I have heard rumor the 7Th Legion is headed out their. Oh the endless war, will now take the life's of these pandaren. I guess the souls can be gathered to powers some of the more powrful warlock spells ...
I even her tell the Prince has already left the country and is in pandaria, and that he has been these last too months.
WEll I guess I sould start packing supplies and getting ready for your arivle.
I can cook us a lovely dinner for when you get back in town. What would you preref?

Best Regard,
Theias

*Beskitte would be packing her things for her long journey back to Stormwind when she received another piece of mail from Theias. She'd smile and open the letter, then start writing one of her own*

Dear Theias,

You know me, I'll eat anything ye put in front of me face!! Oh, but do have some strong ale, ye know that dark nasty stuff ye hate so much. Just ask me old buddy Caleb in Old Town to fetch ye some. I let him know I be headin that way soon. Oh, and thank ye fer lookin into the rumors bout me being a traitor. I hope they be false rumors. I'll find out when I get there. As far as the wars starting up again, you know good and well me axe is ready for that. *smiles while writing this* Ye know wars will never cease, just die down for a little while, then start up again. Though the 7th legion is a bit of a nasty bunch that needs to be taken out completely. I thought fer sure they were gone at one point, but I guess my hopes were too high? And I can't believe King Varian would let his son go alone!! Though I guess the lad is old enough to make his own decisions and that he's strong enough to fight. Who knows. Well me old friend, I am packing as we speak and I shall see you in a few days.

Your loyal comrade,

Beskitte Darkaxe

*Beskitte would send the letter off into the mail and then finish packing. A heavy sigh would escape her lips, knowing she'd have a job to do when she got back home. The battles would never cease and life on Azeroth would never be completely peaceful. There was always someone screwing up its serenity. She'd shrug and get the last bit of gear and trinkets then head out of the inn and down the hall. Mounting up on her ironbound drake, she'd head off out of the country side to get home. It was going to take a few days, and she would make frequent stops to taverns before getting there. Beskitte and her ale, she definitely couldn't pass up a good ale and she was destined and determined to try every ale on the planet within her life time. Each ale being different from the last of course. Her adventures would take her always to some new place she'd never even thought existed, and she'd mark it on her map every time she took a trip and found said new place. She'd been gone for months and now it was time to stop fooling around and come back to her comrades that apparently needed her. Her adventure this time wasn't necessarily a vacation, some of it yes, some of it was training new paladins and she enjoyed her work. She wondered what lay in store for her when she returned. She would find out soon enough.

Khronokai Khrystor.

Oh, Beskitte. My little Beskitte.

You would be pleased to know the Pandaren.

Strong of heart, sound of mind, and lovers of the brew.
Surely you could find common ground with these fuzzy, tranquil beings.

Just don't make them angry, they have a Spinning Crane Kick that would knock you out faster than any Darkbrew Lager.

I hope to see you soon. We have a full plate of evil to deal with, and I know I couldn't do it without your sword and shield in the fray.

Eitote,
Xavinus
