There was a faint shift of cloth and a groan. "Loa. Pl-please t-tell me th-that worked. B-because it feels li-like it did." Internally, Brae did a quick check. It -felt- like she was alone in her own head again. She squinted up at the pair, decided the light was too bright, and promptly closed her eyes again before she shifted to push herself up to sitting, rubbing her temples. She gave them both another look. "W-well?"
Of Research and Necromancers ((open))
She eyed Yoresh for a moment. "Yes, I deliberately brought the necromancer the one thing that would enable her to take control of Brae permanently." Her voice was laden with sarcasm, before she sighed. "I haven't talked to Brae since she asked for my help. I didn't know this," She waved her hand at Brae, "Had happened." At his name, she flushed a bit. "Oh. Her mate. Sorry about...earlier. On the ship." She clears her throat. "Tirini. Kord's sister."
He frowned at her sarcasm and clenched his jaw to keep from saying the first thing that popped into his head. Instead he let out a breath. "Your brother should have telling you; he knew."
At the sound of Brae's voice he forgot all about being annoyed with the human. "Brae?" He quickly pressed his hand to her back when she sat up.

She offered him a quick smile. "F-fancy m-meeting you here, love." She glanced at Tiri with another quick smile. "Th-thank you. If it hadn't been a ch-chance m-meeting, who knows how l-long I would have b-been st-stuck." She leaned back into the reassurance of Yoresh's hand a bit, looking worn out.
She eyed him for a moment, before ignoring the comment about her brother and turning her eyes to Brae. She smiled a bit. "Hey love. How're you feeling?" She shifted back further, trying to stay out of Yoresh's way.
He looked from one to the other, confusion spreading. "Wait," he said switching to amani. "You mean that wretch is gone? You're you? Completely?"
She nodded at them both. "F-far as I c-can t-tell she's l-locked b-back up in th-those b-books. Wh-which sh-should be s-sealed in a c-container and de-delivered st-straight to the heart of Blackrock, as s-soon as p-possible." She leaned over to kiss the troll lightly. "B-but all m-me, yess. T-tired, a b-bit- th-that t-trap took a b-bit of doing."
Tiri stayed quiet for a moment, before pushing herself up. "Blackrock, eh? I think I can take care of that for you." She smiled at both of them, and offered a flamboyant bow. "I shall leave you two alone. A pleasure Yoresh." She sidestepped around them and started off in the direction of the gryphon master.
Yoresh raised his hand to the side of Brae's face, looking at her as though he could hardly believe it. He touched his forehead to hers and closed his eyes. "Thank you," he said quietly, absentmindedly. Then he pulled back and turned his head toward Tirini's retreating form. "Thank you!" he called louder before she could get out of earshot.
Returning his attention to his mate, he gathered her into his lap and wrapped his arms tightly around her. "I need to stop loosing you..."

She'd nodded to Tiri, making a note that she'd have to get in touch with her at some point again, since the chat they'd had when she'd made contact for assistance had been so interesting. Otherwise, Brae leaned into the troll, tucking her head under his chin, replying quietly in Amani. "Hush. 'Losing' implies we don't keep finding our way back to each other. Silly troll." A faint, tired chuckle. "As lovely as this is....perhaps we should continue to cuddle somewhere other than the docks, love?"
She eased out of his lap and offered him a hand as she stood. She was starting to feel a little nauseous, the smell of the docks assaulting her nose like an army determined to examine her previous meals. "Let's go home."
