You're A> on the wrong side and B> sorely lacking in knowledge of what's what on the server. Might suggest fixing both of those before going through with something like this.
My apologies good forumers, as I seem to be having trouble using my other character for the server as the ID to show (If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated). I am confused by you good sir Kordrion, as I am unsure what you mean by "what's what on the server". Perhaps you could fill me in?
What I mean is you are coming onto a server that already has a community and things in place. It's wise to get to know what's what before just deciding something as it leads to a rather good chance of stepping on toes if you don't. We're fairly open to a lot of things but CC isn't like say...WRA where there's a bunch of circles all doing their own thing. We have established server wide history that we attempt to our best ability to keep meshed with everyone both Horde and Alliance side. Coming in and saying "I've been here for years!" at a place that is a major RP hotspot is a nono. A simple glance around the forums and in game can give you the tools needed to find out what's what.
There is already an established group that runs out of the blue recluse, I'd suggest either getting in contact with them to sort out a schedule so that you don't have two things taking place in the same venue at the same time, or scouting out other locations. To my knowledge, the pig and whistle is not in regular use, it could be refreshing to have a second place to hang out in stormwind. Best of luck in your endeavors :)
((Indigo’s stance on the Recluse.
The Recluse is a beacon for RP. A meeting place and a social landmark on CC. Many a storyline has started, taken place or ended here. I recognize that it is also an attractive place to others who may wish to partake in running the establishment.
Currently the Recluse is equally owned by Ardam and Noikona. Ardam is the unseen partner but is very much in control (me thinks he just wants his half of the profit). The Recluse as three bouncers Piroth, Treewolf and Slithengar. Noikona has also asked her sister Paige to fill in behind the bar at times when she is out on business.
The Recluse has IC contracts with Brandon who supplies spirits, Cam who takes care of the rodent population outside and Eresona who periodically supplies fresh meat.
(As you can see the Recluse is run an operated by multiple guilds and is not bias to any. Noikona even makes her own GM pay for her drinks)
That all being said, I understand that the Recluse may seem barren at times, we all have RL and in-game RP that takes us away. Now telling Noikona in character that someone has been running a business out the Recluse for years, will cause a reaction that may seem a bit harsh. Noikona will see you as a problem and eliminate it.
Since the above has already happened I think it prudent that you prepare yourself for what could considered an awkward situation.
I am sure this is all repairable but you have set the ball in motion. All of this could had been avoidable with some communication.
I could actually see the whole second story being a restaurant for those who wish not to partake in the bar scene, but alas now it looks like you will have to work for it. In all actuality lets have a chat and see what we can work out. I don't want to step on peoples toes or wreck your ideas for something you have planned out. Its all about having fun.))

I apologise for not knowing about the other group running out of it, as the few days I was in there working it was barren. However I have only just discovered this other discussion about having been there for years, as it was my manager who apparently was there at the time, and did not tell me any of this (hence my major confusion when I tried to help him drum in business with this post without his knowledge). Again I apologise profusely and will endeavor to work with him and everyone else on the server to ensure it does not happen again, and that we find our own locale for it in the future. Again very sorry.

Hi Shel! I gather you're new to the server? If so, welcome to CC! Thank you for being so understanding of our protectiveness of our established RP community. Please understand it's just a testament to how close-knit we are. We've got each other's backs around here.
That said, we are also very welcoming to newcomers, especially those who want to contribute to RP! When I first came to the server, I also mistook the Recluse for a dead-zone. I want to emphasize that your intention was good and your instinct to utilize an opportune RP spot is appreciated.
I hope you and your guild can work something out with Nokoko and Ardypoo, or that you'll forge a new hotspot of your own! I always thought the stall area with the cooking daily dude in SW would make for a neat foodtruck-esque area.
Now that we know you're not a troll (your blacked out belfelina icon really threw us off!), I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we wish you all the best. Hope to see you around!

Bear in mind as well, Stormwind doesn't have to be the only game in town. Ironforge and Darnassus are both CRZed, and I know that the latter has a dedicated RP population from WRA and MG.
That or, figure out a way to share the bar. It deserves another mention that no one party really controls it all of the time. (Leaving out that it's technically owned by NPCs. :) )
Nyah! I have the rights to all restaurants an' organizations with the word "bar" in their title. However, for a modest licensing fee I can overlook this transgression.

Which is why we use the word tavern in our title. Only have to pay the goblins of Booty Bay then.

As a server, we try not to mimic events. Feathers of Iron hosts a tavern night every Tuesday out of Booty Bay that has been a server event for years. Prior to CRZ. As a result, you don't see anyone else hosting an event on Tuesday really or a tavern night throughout the week. Except Horde side which is Sunday and hosted by the lovely people of AAMS Horde side.
That said, we'd love to see you in attendance of any of our events. There is a list on the stickies at the top of the forums and on the calendar at cenarion-circle.org. I would also encourage you to try the channels to get to know people and get to know more about the server. You may find that more exists than you think. (/join allianceooc)

Thank you all so much for being so understanding. Again if anyone know how to fix my black picture to be reflective of the character for this server that would be appreciated (I tend to get lots of errors when I try) My business partner (Tollan) and I (Shaiele) are looking at running a few small party like events with our food and beverage based business, such as big BBQ's and all you can eat buffets and the like, with fireworks and more.
If anyone has any ideas for a new locale for us to set up shop, or ideas for functions that we could help to run that would be appreciated. Hopefully we can get to know you all better and work to have lots of fun together :D

Doesn't the Stormwind Guard (well Union) use that as an unofficial headquarters?
I think a catering pop up business would be swell personally, but I tend to think the food & beverage is overplayed and people tend to avoid it because they are looking for new RP experiences. Like when Khromie hosted the Pop Up Book Store and there was the Late Night Raid Night Coffee Cart (again a pop up event) or the Pop Up Pet Vet or the Pop Up robot repair. You can generally come up with lots of things with a little creativity. However, I would encourage participation in the events that currently exist on the server to get your characters more familiar to others so that other people will have RP reasons to come visit your event. I think that's probably the most common mistake people make when trying to establish a new event. So my advice is simple.
Establish your characters so people have IC reasons to support your event.
Or.
Create Pop Up Events during peak hours in peak locations that change their song and dance so it always feels fresh and makes people want to appear.

No, they use a spot in SW Cathedral District.
I know that's the official headquarters. I thought Pig and Whistle was the unofficial joint though. Maybe I just keep running into them there though. Same with Slaughtered Lamb.
I thought the Slaughtered Lamb was a hide out for warlocks?
N-not that I would know anything about that.
